The building manager is barely there, so ann old bigoted woman who cannot help you in anyway with anything is the point of contact most days, and the owners are beyond rude. The apartments come dirty, and then they charge you for it when you leave, even if you live there 9 years and leave it spotless. The pool burns your skin because the idiots don't know how to take care of it. The parking lot will give you a flat tire. The elevators break down monthly and it took them a year to fix the one. The list goes on. It's a terrible place to live and you should absolutely never consider this shit hole.

Not at all spoken, by the residents, as a "senior home or facility," but instead they call it a community. In fact, they would like to refer to it as Cloverleaf Communities. The apartments are spacious, quiet and the residents are friendly and sweet as pie. They offer events in the community room, celebrate monthly birthdays, have a family room, offer billiards, hair salon and shuttle for those who are no longer driving. You think senior living and shoot to an age range of 80 years and older, no. I met a women in her 60's who was just tired of the yard work! I met a man in his 70's who works out at the gym three times a day, hunts and enjoys the food in the area. The biggest perk, the residents will say, is the dish washer, stainless steal appliances and the fact that they can send their grand kids home at the end of a long day. I laughed. My mom does the same. If you are in the area, do a tour. Now, I was only there for work, but I told all my new friends that I would be renting out an apartment asap and would see them soon, and I'm only 32! ((Don't tell my son or husband.))

No shoveling sidewalks (public area); no shoveling of ramps from sidewalk to parking lot for those with wheelchairs/scooters; trash room doors that are so heavy they can't be opened by most tenants in a wheelchair/scooter holding a bag. One elevator that goes out with the electricity which leave those again with wheelchairs/scooters, unable to get to their apartment. Smelly halls that when asked of management, you get "it is what it is". Landscapers that blow grass onto the patios of ground floor tenants and then have to be raced down (in a wheelchair/scooter) to have them blow off the patio. A maintenance person who says he will do work then never shows and found sleeping in the parking lot. A property manager that never leaves her desk and just gives lip service (vs. personal service). Tip of the iceberg people! Don't go! I wouldn't send my enemies here (then again..)

They have been remodeling all their units too so if you're going to be a new tenant you are getting a newly renovated unit. There is a big fenced in dog park. And the hot tub is indoor so it is open year round! The clubhouse was also fully remodeled last year, so it's all new and beautiful. There's even a dog wash station in the clubhouse! They are really good about cleaning their amenities which is so nice because I have lived in many apartments growing up and I would never set foot in their pools. But the pool, hot tub and gym at Sturbridge are always cleaned and maintained. Everyone in the office and the maintenance team are all so amazing and helpful. Turn around time for a maintenance request is usually quick and done if not the same day then the very next day. I loved all the attention to detail from the staff when it came to decorating for the holidays! I only left because I got married and I am moving out of the country. I do miss living at Sturbridge and highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment to check them out and take a tour!

Kim showed us around the building, educating us on the abundant features and benefits of living here. This is a Senior Community, 55yo and up. The building is well laid out with handicap access. Kim, the manager, is wonderful. During the walk-through she showed us all parts of the building, what the different community rooms are for. Everything from continental breakfast to group work outs and video teleconferencing with relatives. Lots of organized activities, many with a nominal fee to cover the expense. You won't be bored living here! Each unit we saw had been freshly remodeled and looked like new. Lots of counter space, dishwasher, abundant storage and even a microwave above the stove. Very impressive! So impressive, I thought about moving in here myself, but I'm not quite 55 yet. It was pointed out that the building is made of cement and blocks, so the units are ultra quiet. I love peace and quiet, so for me that's a selling point. For such a small unit (700sf ?) there's a large amount of closet space. Each unit has an air conditioner in the living room; heat is electric under-window floor heaters (electricity is NOT covered within the rent). While it is a seniors only building, there is no 'care' offered by the facility. If care is needed it must be arranged through your own visiting providers. The only downside I saw for myself is that there is no covered parking. Most of the residents use the transportation provided and don't have need for a car. Instead there are scheduled trips to the grocery store/mall/rec center. The Strongsville library & police station are right next door on Westwood Dr. Westwood Place is a fabulous, reasonably priced seniors community you should definitely consider for yourself or your loved ones.

Recently new residents have moved in the building next to me and they party in their garage blasting their music and the base is so loud it travels to surrounding neighbors and is soooo annoying especially when it goes on all day long usually on the weekends mostly and sometimes during the week. I'm surprised none of the neighbors right next door to these people haven't complained unless they're not home ever. I went outside around 8pm to see where it was coming from and it was 3 apts down in the building next to me!! I also could hear some lady yelling at someone or arguing!! Crazy and so horrible that some people just don't care about anyone but themselves. They are smoking weed too outside in their garage it smells horrible and travels through other residents windows!!! I thought this was a drug free environment!!! Most people choose to live here because of it's quiet peaceful atmosphere so I'm not sure what's going on here but I sure hope management is screening new residents thoroughly and hope this beautiful community doesn't become another Euclid OH. UGH!!! Most people want to live in a peaceful environment it's not cool for anyone to come in a destroy people's happiness go somewhere else if you feel the need to be extremely loud for attention sheeesh! Management promises things and doesn't follow through. You have to chase them down to get any kind of repairs repairs take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. The place smells like weed since letting dogs in the building. There is pee in the elevators and smell. Heat not work in the winter. They have to give you space heaters for your apartment to be warm.

They are understaffed and handle my grandma rougly when they do actually help her to the bathroom or in the shower. I do not recommend for a loved one. It pains me to see my grandma being in a sub-par care facility. It saddens me.
