My wife was given the worst Dentures I've seen. Would not correct and had another Dentist redo them. Under quoted and charged insurance company for a larger amount. I cracked my tooth and to help I was quoted a price and told my insurance company was a HMO and my out of $$$ would a larger amount and they called to Confirm. My card said PPO. So I went to my wife's new Dentist and confirmed that I did crack the tooth, and I indeed had PPO. My out of pocket cost was a 3rd. Plus added services. Bottom line nice people but they're more interested the buck and not the patient. read more

I visited this dentist to establish a new relationship when I moved to the area. They did X-rays and an exam and they prepared a treatment plan. They explained I had cavities and a cracked molar and showed me pictures of the crack. I got one filling but didn't have the money to do everything right away. The cavity they filled began to hurt and eventually needed a root canal. I visited another 2 dentists and both said I had no cavities and no cracked tooth. I have no proof but it seemed like an insurance scam. read more

Wow !!! I can't say enough good things about this place ! I came in with awful TMJ pain and previous lock jaw, my TMJ was making every day life very difficult and I was getting horrible sleep. I was recommended to come here by my dentist in Murrieta and proceeded to drive 2-3 hours for each appointment to get the care I needed. Dr. Ariz is such a fantastic doctor. He is so educated on TMJ and all of the things in my body that could be worsening my pain. He is very caring and thorough and the day I left my first appointment I knew I was in good hands. He set me up with everything I would need to move forward with treatment and I felt like he truly cared about me getting better every time I came. I can now say that I have almost 100% eliminated my jaw pain and discomfort using my nighttime mouth guard as well as all of the other recommended treatment plans he gave me. Driving 2-3 hours for each visit was 100% worth it for the quality of life I now have. Definitely come here if you have debilitating TMJ, you will not regret it !! read more

Even though I have been coming here for years for cleaning and pay for their annual package, I began seeing Dr. Ariz because it was recommended that I try a new product they were still testing at the time (Nuvola). He showed awful patient care. Because he was still learning about this product from Italy he offered $3500 for the service. After I paid for my consultation and did it he said the price was $7000. In shock my mother and I, proclaimed that he had quoted us at $3500 before. After some back and forth, he made it $5000. Baffled by the dishonesty, we left after the consultation was over and thought if we wanted to actually proceed with this doctor. They said they apologize and would return the $300 consultation fee if we decided not to go through with it. After seeing that this wasn't a good match, we asked for the consultation fee back which they declined. They are not good about keeping their word. read more

Do not come here... They will upsale procedures you don't need. I came here for just a cleaning and they wanted to do a deep cleaning. During the cleaning I advised them I needed a night guard which my retired dentist would make one for me right then n there. They advised me I had to see a specialist for that. They then advised me that I need to redo my old fillings. So I had those done.. Well once I had them done my tooth became very sensitive and I was unable to eat cold food or even chew on one side. They advised me I had a crack on that tooth and that I needed a crown. So I got the crown but still my tooth was sensitive. So they said I needed a root canal. But the root canal specialist is out of network and I had to pay most of it out of pocket.. Well since my tooth was so bad I had the root canal done. So now to the other side of my tooth. They again redid my old filling and they advised me my very back took had a crack and needed a crown. So again I got the crown and now that tooth is sensitive and I cannot chew on that side now. They basically screwed my tooth up which were all fine before I came in for just a cleaning. After paying well over $2000 I still have a sensitive tooth which I cant even chew on due to pain and sensitive to cold. And I still don't have a night guard. They also made me pay to make an appointment which I never heard of in any doctors office. Read the other negative reviews. They are all the same. read more

This dental office has changed my entire perception of dental office experience. I truly love this office and how they attend to the needs of myself and my children. They are kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and take the time to teach all of us about dental health and best practices during every visit. One of the best parts of each visit is that no matter the severity of the situation or plan, there is no judgment, but rather a nurturing and clear path of treatment. Twice they have taken me in on the day that I called to resolve a dental emergency. I can already see so much improvement in the dental health of my kids, and I'm well underway in taking care of all of my dental priorities (fillings and crowns, etc.). Time is very important, not everyone has a flexible schedule. And with so many dentist offices competing for our business in the area, you should bring your "A" game to work Every Single Day... or at least communicate. My mom was scheduled for an oral surgery at this office. They were to remove 3 molars including a wisdom tooth and fill the hole with bone chip so that it would avoid recession of the jaw and the hole. I come to find out they charge the patient for a certain dental billing code where as if they charge a different number for the same procedure insurance company would pay 80% of the bill. so unethical on their part!! that tells me these dentists are only there for the money and not the care of their patients. so sad read more

Thank you Northridge Dental!!! I have severe dental phobia that caused me to not go to the dentist for almost a decade. Just calling or seeing a commercial about dental visits would cause my blood pressure to rise and i would block it out. Unfortunately i lost my job due to covid 3 weeks ago and my benefits were going to run out at the end month, and since i don't know when I will get my benefits back, I had to make the call i was dreading. I scheduled a deep cleaning and requested the assistance of light sedation (nitrous oxide) and it made a WORLD of difference in my anxiety. I cannot say enough good things about my visit. The dentist was very straight forward, quick, and talked me through everything, as well as the assistant who was monitoring my nitrous levels. I finally have my smile back. I am not ashamed of smiling anymore. When i look in the mirror I am so much happier with how healthy my teeth and gums look. Update, day 5 after my root canal and the pain is unbearable. Is this normal to have an excruciating pain after a root canal for 5 days? Have been calling them throughout the day to see me as an emergency as it is! because the pain is expanding through the entire right side of my head and face. It's already obvious that they don't know what they are doing and Dr. Vaziri (they don't deserve to be called doctors because they are not), the "endodontist" never called back to have me go for an emergency visit after messing up my teeth so badly. At this point I don't know what I can do because I paid a lot of money and they did not fix anything yet besides making it worse! WORST PLACE EVERY! Cant stress how bad this place is! If you have TMJ pain, jaw clicking, etc , go see Dr. Ariz . I was in 11/10 jaw pain everyday for a while (especially in the morning) and was having trouble sleeping and couldn't even open my jaw wide enough to eat comfortably. After my treatment was complete, which was roughly 6 months, I honestly had no more jaw pain and no jaw clicking/locking. Half of my treatment was during Covid 19 lockdowns and Dr. Ariz still found a way to make sure I was on track and being 100% consistent with my treatment and answered any and all questions I had and explained why I had the TMJ issues to begin with. He and his team are very knowledgeable in this field and the variety of tests/ exercises he does personalizes the specific treatment plan for you. Without his care, I wouldn't have even known that I had a deviated septum (which plays a big role as to why people get TMJ pain) and helped me manage it when sleeping at night. I'm so glad I found him, best decision ever! Would also like to mention that Dr. Arami has been my dentist for more than a decade now and he is always so nice and does amazing work. Do NOT come to this place! It is a complete scam. I had been a patient for 2 1/2 years and only until 3 MONTHS ago did they decide to notify me that I have had a balance from my first to last visit! Every time I went into the office, I paid any additional upfront fees asked of me. I had a balance of over $300 from my first visit, from the previous year, yet when I went into my next visit they did not tell me anything about it. They gave me the impression that I had a clear balance after I had paid my yearly deposit. It wasn't until the NEXT year when I went in for a visit that they let me know I had a balance of over $600 dollars! I was so confused, considering I and apparently they "thought" I had a clear balance with them. Some time passes, and they bill me over $400 for appointments that happened in 2017, 2018, and my last visit in 2019. Never, EVER again will I come here. There is absolutely NO transparency or ANY time sensitive communication with their patients about existing balances. They are so shady and unorganized with their billing. They had so many opportunities to notify me about the balance I had, but literally wait years later to let me know about it. Do not let their "niceness" fool you, it's all a scam. Stay away from Northridge Dental Group. The only think these people care about is being able to bill your insurance. They could not care less about their patients. Case in point, went in today for a cleaning. Hygienist said we are starting with x-rays and then there will be an exam. I booked a cleaning, allowed enough time from work for a cleaning but now they want to do an exam. (Keep in mind I was just in the office 3 months prior.) The reason they decided unilaterally that I needed x-rays and an exam? Because they can bill the insurance. The medical staff here gets a C- and the front office gets an F. There are more dentist in the San Fernando Valley than there are donut shops. Do not go to this dentist unless, of course, you like being lied to and misled. UPDATE 5/22/2019 -In response to the comments from this "doctor" -all your pious platitudes are nonsense. My issue with you and your office is that you say one thing then do another. I set an appointment for a cleaning and you tried to also make me do X-rays and who knows what else. I told you when you put in the implant and misled me on the pricing on that you must be transparent in your prices and your intent. Do not say one thing then do the other. Do not pad the bill. Do not leave me in the dark. Treat me as a person and not just an insurance policy that you can fleece. The rest of the world may not call you out on your nonsense but I will. Also, stop calling me. HUGE upgrade from West Coast Dental in North Hills. I felt respected as a patient and felt comfortable asking them questions about my oral health and care. I did not feel a condescending tone that I've usually felt from dentists, and Dr. Rezvani and the hygienist (Forgot her name--oops!) were top notch. I went in early so my wait time was pretty short, and once again UNLIKE West Coast Dental in North Hills, I was seen almost immediately and felt like my appointment time was actually honored.
