The ladies at the front are super rude and try their hardest not to accommodate your requests. They give attitude when being asked basic questions. They wait days to respond to any inquiries. The dentist is always trying to get me to get more work done-- you go in for a cleaning and come out with an estimate of $1200 of dental work you all of a sudden need. He's not gentle at all. They're only open 3 days a week so they only schedule appointments at least 3 months in advance. I promise you can find a better dentist to go to. read more

I had a root canal there from DR KIM, My insurance said there is no copay, however I was asked for $100 to use a stronger antiseptic (never heard of this before). I said regular would be fine. I have never been in so much pain at the dentist as I was with DR KIM working on me, and DR KIM kept reminding me that I should have paid for the stronger medicine , I could not believe what I was hearing, it was obvious he wanted me to feel the pain and let me know why. I have had a lot of dental work done and this was by far the worst experience ever. This is the nastiest place ever and someone needs to shut this place down. I had to be to get the Dentist to wash his hands. He had attitude when I brought it up and acted like it was OK to put on clean gloves without washing. He was just digging in somebody's mouth, touching everything all over the office and then tries to put his hands in my mouth. Hell no. He didn't wash his hands but used hand sanitizer after I kept staring at him like you're not going to touch me. The office ladies are wonderful! He did not fill my teeth properly, but fused my teeth together to where I couldn't floss. I was already disgusted with the dirtiness of this place. I didn't wanna go back. Insurance will not cover fixing this at another location so I had to go back. He tried to get in my mouth again without washing his hands. Oh, my God! The tools on the table, looked rusty and dirty. AF! I made the dental assistant get a new one, because you were not putting any of that in my mouth. He was very rough and insensitive. . He cut my gums with his nails several times and was digging between my teeth trying to floss. I'm screaming telling him to stop and just fix it. He tried to say I had psychological issues because I was asking all types of questions before he started to work on the fillings. I just wanted to know where the cavities were and why this needs to happen. I've never had any cavities and I feel like they're just trying to dig in my mouth for no reason. This place breeds illness. My throat is already feeling sore. He touches everything with wet, sloppy gloves out of your mouth. Smh! I am reporting this place. read more

Don't do it. If you value your health and wellness avoid this place! It is the dirtiest "medical" facility I've ever seen in Los Angeles. Rats were climbing the walls outside the front entrance. No sanitary paper on the examination chair and there was dust and hair all over the counter edges, exam area AND the instruments!!!! I got up and walked right out. Do not go to this office. I was referred by my son's primary dentist. I contacted them several times after our initial appointment to get information regarding authorization for a procedure. They think because they have an automatic message that gets generated when you call that it solves the lack of information given. I spoke with Marisol first and the poor girl is clueless. Then I spoke with Julie who informed me that they do not contact the primary Dentist to inform them of a denial of treatment based on the insurance coverage. When I contacted my primary dentist they said that is not true. They should have contacted their dental office so they can take further action with treatment. My husband was here today to have his tooth extracted, he filled out the medical form said he was allergic to penicillin they still gave him a prescription for something very similar to penicillin he only found out when he went to the pharmacy and now I am back here to pick up the new prescription for him which they don't even know about because they haven't been answering the phone for the last 1.5 hours right now I'm here at the dentist office it is 4:05 PM they have a sign that says they're open till 7pm today, but they're closed and no one is answering the phones for the last hour or so! Not only is it scary that the dentist didn't READ his chart to check if their are an allergies before prescribing that could be life threatening. Now my husband has to wait to start antibiotics, this is frustrating and all the wasted time back and forth driving to here cause they say these hours are their busy hours and they are not answering the phone and now I had to drive here to see they are closed. I've been going to Dr. Harmick for my six month cleanings consistently for the last two years and it's been nothing but positive. Only one thing I would change though. They always seem to overbook their appointments. This might be to maximize time and see as much patients as possible but my gripe with it is that Dr. Harmick always seems so rushed to get to the next patient. I wanted to ask him a question about my teeth when I went in yesterday but another patient was waiting so I felt bad to take his time. This isn't a major deal though but my only con. There are so many advantages that outweigh the bad though. Pros: - Clean office - Email and phone reminders about your appointment which are super helpful! - Customer service at the front desk is great. They'll always schedule your next six month cleaning right after your appointment. - Dr. Harmick is super sweet. Has great bedside manner. - Saturday appointments are available so that I won't have to ask for time off during the weekdays. All in all, I've been a happy camper.
