Dr. Ziot was rushed throughout my appointment and did not clearly explain what procedures were being performed or what to expect. I left feeling confused and uninformed. The financial side of the visit was even more concerning. Tamar was not transparent about the charges and initially attempted to collect $1,100 without providing a clear explanation of what I was paying for. She also failed to give me a receipt for my payment and refused to provide an itemized breakdown of the treatment and costs when I requested one. When I contacted my insurance company directly to verify my responsibility, I was informed that my out-of-pocket cost was only $750--not the $1,100 I was being asked to pay. After I questioned the discrepancy, the conversation changed significantly. To this day, I still have not received a satisfactory explanation for the difference in the amount requested. I was also frustrated that my post-dated checks were withheld instead of being returned promptly after the billing issue was identified. Overall, I found the office to be disorganized, lacking in transparency, and poor in communication. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office to others. I encourage anyone considering treatment here to ask for an itemized estimate, verify costs with their insurance beforehand, and insist on receipts for every payment.

I was going to my other Dentist for 15 years however my Dentist is no longer practicing I decided to come to Dr. Mishra based on another recommendation. I'm so happy I was able to find an honest, hard working Dentist that I could trust and feel comfortable with. His staff is very kind and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed working with Theresa and Leo they are so pleasant on the phone, they answered all my questions and went over everything with me. I have gone to other Dentists before and they try to nickel and dime you and tell you that you need to do this and you need to do that which is absolute bs. Thankfully I didn't deal with that here. Dr. Mishra took his time to evaluate my teeth and gum health. He made me feel at ease and I appreciate his approach. We took x rays and everything was smooth. His Dental hygienist was friendly and didn't try to tell me any nonsense which I appreciated it. So far so good I've been here a few times for cleanings and it's been a great experience. Also don't judge a book by its cover the outside may not be the best but the inside is lovely and very spacious. I highly recommend Dr. Mishra he's a great Dentist and will take care of you. He has a great staff and once again thank you to Theresa and Leo for helping me.

There is so much focus on your teeth and roots which is obviously important but Dr. Z places a lot…read moreof emphasis on your gums! Who knew how important the gums were. He strives to get your gums healthy in addition to the teeth cleaning, x-rays and whatever dental needs one has. We were devoted patients of different dentist that had retired. Stressed out and in need of a new great dentist, we were referred to Dr. Z who came highly recommended by my FIL. We started at the Canoga Park location and now have followed Dr. Z to the Chatsworth office. But really we would follow Dr. Z to the moon and back for taking such good care of our teeth, gums and everything oral! The cleanings are painful but great. A good teeth cleaning feels so cathartic to me. He assess your gums thoroughly. For mine, he spots out areas that bleed easily and focuses on clearing out the bad gums, treating with a rinse and recently a local antibiotic to kill what's affecting the gum area. Then he follows all of that with a discussion on how to brush your teeth the right way; top to bottom and not side to side which apparently destroys the gums. And if your a teeth grinder, he can make a mouth guard to sleep with. He has all the tools in his arsenal and he also thinks outside the box! I of course have had fillings, root canals, an implant, etc. Those all went well and were somehow not too financially painful as compared to other offices. He also refers out for services that he does not do in his office. So he is very professional.

She truly has angel hands!…read more I had three very difficult wisdom teeth extracted in one sitting, and I honestly couldn't believe how easy she made the whole experience. She normally doesn't even take on extraction cases like this, so I was especially grateful that she agreed to do it. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure, and despite how difficult the extractions were, I had surprisingly little discomfort afterward. What really impressed me was the care from the entire office. They called me several times after the procedure to check on me and make sure I was okay. You can really tell that they genuinely care about their patients. Amazing skill, wonderful bedside manner, and an incredibly caring staff. I am so grateful and would highly recommend her and her office to anyone who is nervous about dental procedures.

I have always had very bad dental anxiety from past offices, which I let the hygienist - Nicole and Dr. Pham know about, but after all the treatment I received from this office I can easily say that my dental fears are changing for the better. The team was very thorough, answered all my questions, explained every procedure before implementing, and for my first time ever ... NO PAIN !! With the advancements in technology, the dental assistants Quynh & Renzo were able to take my full set of x-rays and panoramic x-ray efficiently and comfortably which I was not used to. It was overwhelmingly positive to say the least, leaving me nothing but thankful. Dr. Pham drew up a plan for me and Dr. Jan referred me to a specialist I need to see next, but best believe I will be coming back for everything to follow. The insurance company states they never received it. So they asked me to step in. I called them today. On hold for who knows how long. I kept getting transferred and then dropped call. Do they call back? No. I had to call them back. Then another hold until finally someone states they will email me within the hour as they are on lunch break and they are short staffed. The hour passes. No email. I email them a friendly reminder a couple hours later. No response. I called them again. On hold again. Transferred and on hold. I still don't have the form.
