None of our other kiddos had an interest in these skills and sports, until now, with our youngest daughter who is 7. She just loves going and is on her second set of classes at Vega. She feels safe and cared for and hops into the car after, sweaty and excited to tell everything she learned that day. (Which continues on at home to SHOWING her dad and I everything as well! ) Fostering that enthusiasm and engaging whole body mechanics is very important to us. Especially coming out of the past year and a half where our children were very limited on athletics here in the Pacific Northwest. We are thankful for the ease of email, the online member portal, and the great communication provided by the staff at Vega. After his class they gave him ribbons that said he was ready for the next class and one for completing his 1st swim class. He was so thrilled! They have so much to offer. I emailed early Monday morning that I found other childcare options. They asked if I want my kids removed my 3 kids from the roster, I said yes. A week later, I noticed close to $900 for my three kids that had been charged. I messaged them - they said that enrollment was non refundable. I told them they should have just said that so my kids could have attended a portion of it knowing I already paid for it. We discussed this in details, underlying discrepancies and miscommunications. But the manager still said no refunds. We had been with this gym for more than a year. We left this gym immediately because it was clear they didn't care about the community/relationship with families. They only cared about money. Avoid this place.

Obviously I wouldn't expect them to be open on the Holidays, but I couldn't believe they still charged me for the entire month even though we only had TWO lessons in the entire month (EDIT: Well, I guess Jan 1 is a new month, but whatever). This has always infuriated me, but if it happens once or twice a year I can excuse it. However, twice!? It feels like being charged double. Again, I have no complaints with the instructors or product itself. In fact, I have ONLY POSITIVE things to say about them. My daughter loves her class! That said, I'd highly advise against putting your kid in a Monday or Friday class as most Holidays just tend to fall on those days and they will charge you for the missed classes regardless.

Last year the owner decided (or forgot) to sign up for ANY competitions, without asking parents or the gymnasts if they even wanted to. Many parents and gymnasts were VERY disappointed! This gym struggles with constant last minute changes to scheduling and 3 long-time well qualified coaches have recently left.
