The check engine light can on. I drove it back and had it checked. They found nothing. I took it back again and they said I need a new engine. What? Are they kidding me? Of course I'm stuck with it, buyer beware. No warrantees expressed or implied. I took it to my shop. The engine was basically fine, it needed a transmission. $4500 later it was good to go. So I thought. Over the next year I dumped thousands into this car. I've probably spent a total of nearly $10-11,000 including the purchase. It's nice car. It runs well now. No more problems. But it wasn't worth the good deal I got. Never trust a dealer ever. Do your homework. Get a used car checked independently - no matter what. I'll never do business with Red Wing again.

Out of desperation to get a vehicle in time to go and help take care of an aging mother two states away, I accepted. It lasted maybe one or two days before the check engine light came on. Come to find out despite their inspection they missed something and the car was a total wash. They arranged another one for me and that didn't last long either. This is after I had to pay for a independent inspection, a lawyer to babysit them when they put a lien on the title when I already paid the entire balance out-of-pocket, and even Lyfts to get back and forth to the dealership. This was around the time they were moving away from Frontage Road to a new facility consisting of two dealerships and a large automotive garage. They never even offered a courtesy ride when this is no problem with any other garage in Rochester. What hurts the most about this is I trusted them. When I first got to Rochester, I took my car to Tom Kadlec Honda all the time and never had an issue with price or service. When I sold them a car I didn't need anymore, there was zero negotiation. Now, during a time of great stress, I had to go through the worst car purchasing experience of my life and now I'm five figures in debt over two garbage vehicles. I don't know what happened to them as a business, but I will never be going back here.
