2019 kia Forte repair brake light fault in dash. Brought car in in early February 2026 for brake light issue. Service advisor said it a new part( socket or wire for the brake light. Part was backorder. They said would call us when part came in . Another 2 months go by. We call the dealership. Oh part had arrived just nobody let us know. Two months of driving with 1 deceive brakelight. Finally we an appointed for 5- 11-26. Drop car off service said it about 30 minutes they would call us when it was ready. 3 hours plus pass. So go to see what's up no call. Oh yes it's complete. Pay the bill. Turn key on problem is still there. Called service advisor an hour ago . No response just voicemail with no return call Would rate a 0 if possible. 3 months waiting with a deceive brake light . Service didn't fix anything!!! Won't be my first 2nd or 10th place for service. Completely unacceptable read more

I just purchased a 2023 Kia Sportage and my service was great. I worked with Jeff and he was great about answering my questions and always got back to me if I left a voicemail. I had originally ordered a different trim line and it was potentially going to take a long time to come in. They ended up having a higher trim on the docket to come in and I was able to put my name down without losing my order in case I didn't like it. I also had a grey experience with my financing. I am in love with my new Sportage and I'm actually so happy it worked out this way because I think I'm happier with what I got than what I may have been with the lower trim I ordered. I recently shopped for a vehicle and Tom Kadlec Honda. While the salesperson (Neal) was polite, when it came time to deal with the sales manager (Tony) it was a different story. He was condescending and treated me like I was a thief. I asked if they would take a check for a thousand dollars down on a used vehicle and hold it for a few days until I was able to secure funds from a mutual fund because I was paying cash. I was told by the sales manager that he had a business to run and money to make and that if I wanted to give him a thousand dollars, he would take it but no way he would hold the vehicle for me. He told me to finance it with them after I repeatedly told him that I was not financing, I was paying cash. I was told by another employee to send a note to the general manager regarding how I was treated. I did send an email weeks ago and still haven't had the courtesy of a response. I believe if I had been a man purchasing this vehicle I would have been treated much differently. Beware women car buyers, do not deal with this chauvinistic pig! Go elsewhere to shop for a vehicle. I will never buy another vehicle from Tom Kadlec Kia! When I bought a Nissan Rogue Wed. July 3rd I was so rushed through the whole process due to the sales guy having to get home for his wife birthday...was not able to really check it our good. It drove nice good price but had a horrible wet dog smell. Sales guy said no problem we can take care of that when you come get the vehicle later. Needless to say when I got dropped off to get the vehicle it still smelled then when I was showing it to my daughter my grand daughter opens the back door to find an old nasty french fry along with food smears, food down in where the seat belt, the runners for the front seats were full of ground in nasty food. So I call no problem bring it back we will clean so I did today Friday July 12 was told come back in couple hours they gave me a car to drive to do errands got back got in the vehicle smelled ok but seen food still smeared on rear seat I'm pissed they did clean up the runners and down in the seatbelt but when I dropped the armrest in the back seat food smeared all over it what the hell your detailers suck!! I called again oh we will make it right NO I will take it to a detailer and you will pay the freaking bill!! read more

Two years ago, I bought an Acura TL at Kadlec Kia with just shy of 125k mi on it. These cars, like most Honda products, require a timing belt and water pump replacement every 105k miles, because if the timing belt fails, the only fix is to replace the whole engine. One would think that a larger and reputable dealership would make sure that this maintenance had been handled before listing it for sale. Fast forward two years, and about 26k miles, Kadlec Honda sent me a letter stating that my car was overdue for the timing belt and water pump replacement. Serendipitously, only a few weeks later, my salesperson emailed me asking how things were going with the car, so I expressed mild frustration with the situation and implied that Kadlec should suggest some sort of remedy. In response, I received - crickets. A week later, I emailed my salesperson again telling him that if I didn't hear from him, I would start writing negative reviews and gave him four more days to reply. That same day, I received a response. He basically summarized the car's service history and said there was no way to prove it HADN'T been done. I responded by illuminating the fallacies in his rebuttal, then highlighted the irony of the SALES department can't prove that it HASN'T been serviced (and it is their policy to not fix "stuff that isn't broken") while the SERVICE department says that if you can't prove it HAS been done, then it needs to be done. His response was "Happy reviewing!" So I'm happily reviewing Kadlec Kia's policy to sell unmaintained vehicles and not stand by their product. They clearly have no interest in customer retention, customer satisfaction, or operating with any sort of integrity. My best advice is to buy your used vehicle anywhere other than Kadlec Kia. They don't complete long-overdue scheduled maintenance before the sale and they will refuse to stand by their product. TL;DR: BUYER BEWARE! Dealership sells vehicle significantly overdue for major scheduled service. Refuses to acknowledge or remedy their mistake. read more

This was the third time I delt with Tom Kadlec (TK) and they are definitely OUT! This last time, I sold them my 2021 Chevy Equinox. It started off great, I brought my car in, they did an inspection, gave me a quote, and I left the vehicle with them. Jeff Nelson told me that they would send my payoff to my auto lender and that I would get a check as soon as the following week (that's right, I was getting some money back!). Fast forward two months... No check from TK, auto bank was not paid off, and my credit score had dropped by 80 some points because two payments were missed (I am not paying on a car I don't have!). Now to be fair, my auto lender was a nightmare to work with as well but it all comes down to what Jeff told me. Had he not said I would get my money in 10-14 days and instead told me that sometimes it can take longer depending on the bank, I could have been patient. TK ended up cancelling the first check after two weeks of me not hearing anything from my auto lender and me calling to see what was the hold up. They sent another check but didn't write the account number on it. On the 7thish week I went into TK Kia to see what was going on. There were calls to this place and that person...bla, bla, bla. No real answers, including if they even still had the car. I question if they had already sold it without receiving the title but can't say for sure. It finally was settled after over 9 weeks and I am still waiting for my credit score to fully recover. Don't do business here. A returning customer. All kinds of calls before my purchase but when I called and asked why my Sirius satellite radio wasn't working and repeated calls to them..a month later when I went to get plates they said they would look at it. At that time I was told the car I purchased did not have it it was one of my requirements as I spend 2 -3 hours a day in my car, was told they could write me a $60 check to cover my trial membership, I had already paid for a year membership. And by the sales manager, the only thing I could do at this point was to trade up my vehicle and add on another 30 -40 on my payment with a curt and smart attitude he walked away. Now mind you, I am a return customer. Never again. I tried contacting the GM he returned one call but I was away from my phone and he had not returned my call that was literally 2 minutes later. read more

In January of this year I took my 2017 Kia Niro to have the HSG belt replaced. Everything seemed fine, the charge was reasonable and they did it pretty quickly. Not it is March, the temps have gotten high enough to need the a/c, but alas it did not work. It was a Sunday, I was going to be at the Mayo Clinic on Thursday, so I got online to the Kadlec Kia website. A chat window came up, so I requested an appointment on Thursday, the chat said I would hear back on the appointment., I got off work on Monday, and had not heard a thing, so once again, website, and chat to make an appointment. Crickets, no response, so I made an appointment with my local mechanic (I was trying to give Kadlec a chance for my business, as that is where I purchased the car new, even though they are 70 miles away) Today, my mechanic asked me who replaced the belt. He said they had left a connector to the A/C unplugged! This connector is right next to where you put your hand to slide the belt down to the pulleys. He said some people unplug this to get a better angle, and he thinks that is what happened. He plugged the wire back in, ran diagostics and made sure the a/c system was up to specs. He only charged me $50, not the normal minimum hour rate. I called the service advisor at Tom Kadlec, he told me that I should never have used their chat system, as it only goes to the salesmen. I asked why the sales department does not walk those requests over, he said they dont do things that way. Makes me wonder if there are issues between sales and service at this dealership. I explained about the a/c issue and suggested I should be reimbursed. A little while later another service advisor calls me, and says he pulled up a YOuTube video to see how the repair would have been done, and he does not think the tech would have unplugged the a/c. WOW, a you tube video. I should have been wondered about the service department when I made the appointment for the HSG belt in January, because they did not seem to even know that it was a scheduled service item. Long story short, I do believe their Tech unplugged the A/C and forgot to plug it back in. No big deal if they would have made it good, but if there sales department does not talk to the service department and they fail to make an appointment it is hard even give them the chance to fix their error. The service advisor thought that someone else might have worked on it after they saw it in January, but that was not the case until I had the A/C problem. Needless to say when I am ready to buy that new EV6, I will need to find a different dealer that actually wants customers to return! read more

Be careful you don't get taken advantage of. We had a quote from discount tire, and Honda said they could beat the price. So we went with Honda like anyone would do for the price. Come to find out honda didn't do the alignment and wanted another $100 for that. We came back with air leak on the tires 3x and they kept telling us nothing is wrong and just put air in it. Ended up going to a different shop and spent $20 to get our brand new tire fixed that Honda was saying there was no problem just low on air. read more

I really hate to have to do this during a time when we should all be standing together during this very difficult time and helping each other however Tom Kadlec KIA you failed and you failed real good!!! - My boyfriend initially purchased a truck from Tom Kadlec Honda - after just a 18 months the gas tank fell out - thank goodness it was covered under a recall however the Technician at dodge who fixed this informed him that the bottom was completely rusted out and that his oil pan was shot (this was not covered under warranty). My boyfriend decided that he wanted to get rid of the truck he only had for a 18 months and found one at Tom Kadlec Kia - he purchased a truck and noticed there was a light on the dash that was staying lit - he asked about the light and was told to take it to Dodge to have it looked at (meanwhile he only had it for a week). Fast forward 6 weeks later - still no truck! and the only communication was because he called every two weeks for an update - As of today 4/6/2020 he called and the truck still had not been worked on because they had ordered the wrong parts (did not even bother to communicate that to him) even though he is on his second truck payment and still does not have his truck his frustration came across in the phone conversation today that he initiated Tom Kadlec Kia then informed him that they took his truck to another dealership because they did not know how to fix the problem and that they wanted to be done with the vehicle and wanted their loaner vehicle back. Just an all around terrible experience. Will never purchase from a Tom Kadlec again. read more

Took my Kia for an oil change and tire rotation a few weeks ago. The service at the time was good, but ever since the oil change the car has been operating sporadically, not getting into gear, and jumping when I proceed from a stop or slowing down (car had been driving just fine before the service and the only comment from the dealership was that everything looked fine, but I should get transmission fluid replaced as it was starting to get dirty, but not critical yet). This has been getting worse over the past week, so I took the car to my regular repair shop where they found out that the transmission fluid plug had not been tightened after the inspection and all the fluid had leaked out. Ended up getting the system flushed and new fluid, but this error from the dealership could have ended up costing a fortune....should not have happened from a professional dealership and I doubt I will go back. read more

My husband and I drove an hour to go look at a vehicle Kia dealership had back in April 2017 on a Saturday. We test drove the car and we liked it. Low miles, newer but still used. Price wasn't to bad. There were a couple things that needed to be fixed on the car and we were told they would be addressed on Monday (2 days later). We told them we would be down there around 1pm. We had no phone call, no communication nothing. So we drove down there and we were told our new car we just purchased 2 days prior still wasn't fixed. So we were told we could take the car we traded in (our previous car back for the week) and then someone would drive the new car back up to where we live at the end of the week. We opted out of this and said we'd bring the car back on Friday (4 days later) because that's when they said the part would be in. Again no phone call, no communication nothing. So I took off work as planned, drove down there and sat there for a half an hour until someone came and told us our part didn't arrive. They said it was on its way down from the cities and they would have my car fixed. So my husband and I went to lunch and drove around town. About 4 hours later we get a phone call saying the part still hasn't arrived and they will have to keep my new vehicle the whole weekend and it would get fixed on Monday. So after a week of buying this new car I had to have a rental all weekend. We were told that the car would get fixed on Monday and we had no call, no car on Monday. We finally got a hold of someone on Tuesday and they said the car would be fixed on Tuesday. Finally on Wednesday a week and a half after buying this car I finally got it back. I continued to be told that they apologize for the inconvenience, etc. and that we would be comped somehow for our troubles of back and forth driving. Well its been 3 months and we still haven't received anything. I have called numerous times and have been told yup its in the mail, yup its in the mail. Guess its coming from a different country. I would not recommend this dealership at all. The communication is horrible, we feel like all the wanted was our money and now that we are gone we are being swept under the rug. This is not alright. No one should be treated like this. We had to put quite a bit of money down for this car, because the dealership only would work with us so much. Find another dealership than this one. read more
