I came to this office in 2022 and I am still thinking about how poor this experience was and wanted…read moreto leave my feedback here.I was looking for a new office's opinion about a specific diagnosis and potentially have a new place I enjoyed going to for dental care... (tall order) The stock photos used is in this profile feels about how phony it feels to be in the office. My appointment was in the winter and their office does not have central heating. It was freezing! Upon registry i put in my paperwork that I was looking to get a second opinion on a diagnosis, and to make things faster, my previous dentist office forwarded xrays via email since I just did xrays... because the doctor works off his phone, no computers? just that room doesnt have one? It's the future man!.. I digress. "they weren't good enough" and we had to do them again... so, to make a long story mid, I didn't get the second opinionand had a poor experience waiting for my room for an hour and half past time, waiting in my room for an hour because "Doctor had an emergency", (freezing, the hygienist offered a blanket but I dunno...) just for my xrays to be inadequate for his equipment, doing those again... going in again for a second visit.... Only for the second visit to be a cleaning and no opinion... it's old-school. And however they want it My expectations are higher in today's day. Your money and TIME is better spent elsewhere.

It's been awhile lol. Not supposed to put off visits, but I always seem to find a reason to cancel…read more As I walk in, Candy greets me with a nice smile. She is always chipper and upbeat. There is a nice coffe station with the 'Krupp' style pods. Very enjoyable for a Dental office. The wait was less than 10 minutes and then brought back to a room. The girl that took me had to get a tooth impression and X-ray. She was also very nice. Once Dr. Labowe came in, the injections of numbing agents, and anxiety began. I can't help it (other than to take care of my teeth better?) Each time I visit, I start berating myself as to why I don't take better care of my oral hygiene. Why-o-why...Then there is the self-promise to do a better job. It's sort of like a New Years resolution...promises made but rarely kept...at least for me lol. Anyways, back to the review... After the injections were made, Dr. Labowe left me to allow the injections to do their job. I could feel the right side bottom lip sagging and drooling, but I refused to swallow the weird tasting stuff. The wait seemed forever, I looked at the clock and it was 11:45 am...been here for 45 minutes now. My thoughts (anxiety) turned to the fear that the wait was too long and I would require more injections..I really don't like visiting the Dentist if you couldn't tell yet lol. Dr.Labowe is very professional, good at his job, it's just me. There was a monitor in the upper corner with album covers and Classic rock playing. I was asked if I wanted to watch tv, but smartphones are a good time-passer (waste? Lol) not really into Ratt, Kiss or Aerosmith so next time I'll check to see if there are options. It wasn't bad though either. Due to all the adventurous things I have done, I've had a few caps, broken teeth, pulled teeth and even once, I had damage to the alveolar bone/socket that require surgery after it was bashed. After about 20 minutes of drilling, pushing, pulling, more injections...smells of burned enamel...they took some teeth impressions to have a temporary crown set. Then, back in 2 weeks for the real one. The only thing that kept this from 5 stars was the assistant, while making the temporary, was not sensitive to my lip hanging over my tooth and she smashed my lip into my tooth so many times. She needs to be more aware of that as it was unnecessary pain that could have been avoided. Patient/client are sensitive after all the needles and drilling. Over all a positive experience for having something you hate done.

Crazy day at work today and I missed my appointment for a routine cleaning!…read moreRealized at appointment time I had forgotten it so called right away to see if I was able to still come or have to reschedule. I had to leave a voicemail so headed to Sparks hopeful I could get in. I got a call back within ten minutes and was told they would check with my hygienist Faith if it was a possibility and call me back. Yay I was called again and told to come in! Faith switched a patient who came in early with me and was able to take care of me, thank you for the flexibility and I promise I won't miss my next appointment! :)

They turned a simple extraction into a full session with pictures and said they wouldn't remove it but were more than wiling to try to fix it ( of course that meant more money and something she has had done before without it working correctly). But my wife refused so they sent here home in pain and referred her to a surgeon who is trying to verify if they will even help her because of the insurance I have. The original appointment was on Wednesday the 22 of April now it's the 3rd of May and she is still in a lot of pain with no hope in sight yet.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Zeff and I was able to get an appointment that was convenient for my…read moreschedule. The office was quiet and felt "soft and calm" with lowered lighting though not dark either. I was seen immediately and felt welcome and pampered as I was offered headsets to listen to my favorite radio station and a blanket to keep my legs warm as well as something to drink. Dr. Zeff introduced himself (very cute) and began testing my teeth with a nitrogen (nitrogen-like?) frozen cotton swab, heated water, different and tapping and finally biting onto a cotton swab to determine if the pressure of the bite caused a differing unpleasant sensation. Initially, testing indicated that another tooth had been the problem and he suggested that I decide later about having a root canal. I almost took off, but after a second testing, it was determined that we did, indeed, have the correct tooth. Next came the dreaded injection!!! YIKES! As soon as the cotton swab with the topical numbing stuff on it goes in your mouth, you know what's next... just don't look at it! A "little pinch!" Yeah, right. (Actually, he did a great job with the injections, all three... A+) Once numb, I was fitted with a device that holds a plastic barrier that covers the entire mouth, like a barrier, except around the subject tooth. Then, the doctor and his assistant got right to the root canal where they "barbarically" ream-out your nerve/root of your tooth and re-pack it. Thus leaving you with a tooth that will remain yet have no sensitivity to pain. He and his assistant were interesting to watch as I was listening to loud rock and roll music on the radio. They work together so effortlessly; she passes him a tool as he gives her the tool he is no longer using. On and on it goes. She knows exactly what he needs and when he needs it. At the end, he used a microscope-like device to look closer at my tooth, inspecting his work. Once he was happy, he took several digital radiographs and determined that the procedure was successful. He explained that I would need to see my primary dentist within 6 weeks to get a permanent filling or crown put in place. I was also told that I may have some discomfort and that Advil or it's equivalent would be enough. Plus, I was given 2 Advil in a small packet to go. (The numbing medicine has worn off at the time of this review and I am in no discomfort). The appointment was an hour and a half long and I paid (sit down- well I'm sitting down!) $1,385.00 for a rear molar with 2 roots. And that's not the whole thing! I STILL have to go back to my primary dentist to have a filling/crown done... another couple/several hundred bucks. "I wish I'd taken better care of my teeth" as they say.

First can we just talk about how great this location is, close to midtown, middle of everything, still ample parking. Looked to be a former residential residence, the building has so much character. Upon arrival I was greeted and not too long after they sat me down and started the process. They offered a neck pillow for comfort, tv overhead with earphones if you'd like. Incredibly friendly and helpful throughout without the awkward chatter many of us are accustom too in the chair- you know the continuation of questions while they are taking care of your visit for an in and out, in and out (the instruments) type of experience. The hygienist was fantastic and walked me through some things prior to the dentist arrival. Post this, the visit was great, I shared what I hoped to accomplish in upcoming visits, etc and they were not only incredible professionally but so personable and helpful! They laid out a plan and pricing up front, no hidden costs and were helpful with the scheduling even with it being so close to the holidays! Actually looking forward to coming in for further visits and absolutely recommend for your general dentist needs to cosmetic and beyond!

And what I'm very disappointed in is the billing. They stopped taking my insurance and I have a secondary insurance to cover costs. They told me that they could bill the secondary after the primary insurance decided what they would cover. The office manager never billed my secondary, she would constantly call and text to get me to pay the difference. After three visits of "you owe us money" because they didn't bill my secondary, I was done. Cindy is very rude and snooty. She even told my husband that I still owed them $130 from a "really long time ago" when it's actually on $37. Even the voicemail saying "we've waited a long time for this" is outrageous to me. You didn't bill my insurance, you tried to get money out of ME instead.
