I had a great experience with High Desert Endodontic Specialists. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The office was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Dr. Fullmer was outstanding. He was professional, personable, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything, which helped put me at ease. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel simple and straightforward. My root canal was much easier than I expected, and I truly appreciated the excellent care I received. While I hope to avoid needing much work in the future, I would hands down like a referral back to this office should I need to have anything done again! read more

I had a tooth die on me on the last day of burning man and so when I got back to Reno, I had to have an emergency root canal. They were very professional, and it was very fast and I am very pleased with the result result. This is not my normal dental world as I am living a few hundred miles away. I recently had to undergo some extensive dental work, and I went in with a lot of anxiety. As a therapist, I can honestly say the staff here are every bit as good as therapists when it comes to creating comfort and safety. They made sure I wasn't in pain, checked in often, and went above and beyond to make the whole experience as easy as possible. For anyone who is sensitive, or for parents with children who may need extra accommodations, I highly recommend this office. They truly understand how to meet people where they are. Ashley stood out in particular, she is clearly passionate about her work and took the time to make me feel calm and cared for throughout. I can't recommend them enough. read more

An outstanding practice. The doctor explains completely and provides quality care. The staff is friendly and helpful.

My visit with Dr Kolber and High Desert was an amazing one. The visit was scheduled the week prior. They took my insurance and quoted me accurately and thats what I was charged. They have modern tech to scan your mouth and teeth and took time to explain the process and to get me fully numb. Staff were happy and polite I would definitely go here again read more

Had such a great experience here! Was scheduled for a root canal and was treated so well from the time I got there until I left. Dr. Kolber and his Dental Assistant Ashley were so kind and made sure I was at ease throughout the whole process. While waiting in the lobby, two patients who were on their way out at two different times, said their experience was "better than expected" and it really was the same for me. Front desk was polite and welcoming. Office is very clean and well taken care of! I hope I am referred here for anything else in the future (but hopefully wont need to be lol). I am not sure what is more nerve-wracking than going to the dentist. This is by far the best place I have ever been for dentistry work. Dr. Spencer and everyone of his staff were so kind, comforting and easy to be around. A procedure that was scary was quickly turned around to be a nice experience. Not only was it a pleasure being there, I was in extreme pain prior to their work. The procedure was painless and I had immediate results after the procedure. My mouth feels so much better now. If only every appointment could go like this! I was running behind, gave them a call, everyone had a heads up! When I arrived I was only four minutes behind. I was welcomed, given a clipboard full of paperwork, and a pen! "Get busy!" I thought. As soon as I was finished filling out the paperwork for Patty, Rachel ushered me in for an x-ray. It was one of those 360° x-rays. Cha-Ching! I knew this was going to be pricey! Rachel then sat me down, and asked me a few questions about my tooth issue. Those of you that know me have seen that I have a lot of tooth issues! She then said the doctor would be in shortly... Within two minutes Dr. Fullmer walked in! Wow! Whatever happened to those 20 minute wait's while listening to ridiculous elevator music? I was listening to a Waylon Jennings song playing on their intercom and actually enjoying it! Dr. Fullmer Walked in before the song was even finished! (I am not a country music fan, but that song was pretty cool!) Again, we discussed my tooth issue and Dr. Fullmer said there is nothing that needs to be done! I can go back to Dr. Kuhn's office and proceed with the dental plan that we have put together. What? Wait! You guys are supposed to charge me an exorbitant amount of money to do very little! You are sending me away with a charge of under $200! How can that be? This must be a mistake! Nope, it wasn't a mistake! Dr. Fullmer is just honest! Well, whether they knew it or not, Dr. Fullmer, Patty, and Rachel earned themselves five stars from this crazy guy! I hope other dentists are referring their clients to this office for their Endodontic work. Dr. Fullmer and staff are legit! read more

Didn't listen when my son said the anesthesia wasn't working. Didn't listen when he said he was in horrible pain during the procedure. They just tried to give more of the stuff that wasn't working! Not sure what the plan was because nothing was discussed. It was supposed to be an evaluation. But this is all they do - they are a root canal factory! Get them in and out quickly so you can see the next person! Don't actually wait to make sure what you're doing is making this as painless as possible! How horrible this was for him. My heart just breaks thinking about the pain he was in - and then I'm furious! If it's not working STOP and FIGURE IT OUT!!!! He was in LESS pain before they did this!! They didn't add a temporary crown but filled it instead. Didn't verify that the dentist doesn't have any openings for a MONTH to do anything. Their advice - if it hurts take some Advil - so he demanded some before he left!! It should have still been numb!!! There other helpful advice -chew on the other side. For a month. This wasn't my son's first experience with a root canal due to inherited Enamel hypoplasia (thanks Grandma!). But this was the WORST experience ever. Get a different referral!! I so wished we would have! read more

I just had my third root canal. Dr Fullmer did all 3. I couldn't be happier. I'm a huge dental chicken and Dr Fullmer had a great chairside manor. This procedure was like getting a filling at the dentist....easy and painless. I highly recommend Dr Fullmer if your looking for a great overall outcome. read more

Dr. Andresen referred me to High Desert Endodontic Specialists. I could not have had a better dental (root canal) experience. I was notified promptly by the HDES receptionists to schedule my appointment. Insurance was verified and my appointment was scheduled promptly. When I arrived I was cheerfully greeted by the receptionists. Everyone was extremely helpful including the front desk receptionists, the x-ray technician, the doctor's assistant and Dr. Fullmer. Dr. Fullmer walked me through the entire procedure before and during the root canal. I experienced absolutely NO PAIN at any time. It was actually a pleasant experience. I enjoyed the fact that Dr. Fullmer whistled often to the numerous tunes playing in the room and contually updated me on his progress. I could have sat in their chair all day listening to the music. The next day I received a phone call checking to see how I was doing and asked if everything was ok. I thought that was great followup. It's hard to believe I could have had such a pleasant dental experience. Thank you High Desert Endodontics ! ! ! read more

Sadly, I needed a re-treatment of a previous root canal - not Dr. Fullmer's work. The staff and Dr. Fullmer were all terrific. They kept informed me and answered my questions throughout the process. The office setting is pristine and they are taking suitable safety measures. I was pleasantly surprised I did not feel pain during or after the root canal. I trust Dr. Fullmer implicitly even with a challenging procedure. read more

I really appreciated how friendly this place is. I was referred by my dentist for a root canal and I am really happy that this is where I went. They were initially going to get me in the next day but I wasn't able to get the afternoon off, so they got me in a few days later. Everything was explained to me very well and the procedure was quick and painless minus the injections to numb me... which weren't bad at all! Dr. Fullmer was friendly and professional, sat down to go over things and never made me feel rushed. I really appreciate that kind of attention before getting a service done. He answered my questions and took excellent care of me. Not that I want to have another root canal - haha - but hands down would return here if I do! -------------------- Just a quick update... 4/16 - my tooth broke, no ones fault. I called this morning and they got me this afternoon... again, they were wonderful and compassionate... and laughed with me as I laughed at myself. I truly care about customer service and the level they provide is above and beyond! This entire team is amazing! read more

Dr. Fullmer performed 2 root canals on my 10 yr old daughter. He walked me through the procedure at the time of the consultation and in detail. Dr Fullmer is great. Quick, painless, and very vocal about what he is doing the whole time.

This was my fourth root canal all by different endodontists. I can say without a doubt, this was the most pleasant root canal of the four (oxymoron unintended). The facility was spotless, the staff was polite, courteous and efficient (especially Lindsey). Dr. Fulllmer was pleasant, unhurried and explained the procedure in detail; it was quick and pain free. I want to thank Dr Cope for referring me; without hesitation I recommend Dr. Fullmer and his staff for endodontics. read more

Possibly the best experience I've ever had in a doctor's office. The place is perfectly clean, professional, and has some of the nicest staff I've ever met. I'm brand new to Reno so I was uncertain about who to trust or where to go, but Dr. Fullmer is one of those people who simply radiates kindness and integrity. I honestly wish I could see him for everything. The only thing that could be better than seeing Dr. Fullmer is not needing a doctor at all! Seriously, though, you'll be in great hands with these folks. read more

I had not been to the dentist in awhile so I did not have a primary dentist I could call for help. I was having excruciating pain in my tooth neck and jaw and could not speak very well with the pain. My mother called in for me as she is a patient of Dr Brosy's office and they were kind enough to get me in early in the morning that same day as a new patient. I went in, had X-rays taken and Dr.B determined that a root canal was needed as soon as possible. Dr. Brosy got me referred to High desert Endodontists specialist that same day and I had my root canal the very next day!! I am now recovering from my root canal with the normal and expected after pains of the procedure but the pain I was having before hand is gone and I owe it all to Dr.Brosy and his office and Dr.Fullmer at High desert Endodontics and his talent! I was absolutely terrified of the pain and the unknown of a root canal but Dr. Fullmer made sure I was completely numb and 100% comfortable, sure enough I didn't feel a thing and the procedure went smooth and quick! Very very happy with the service here read more

Dr. Fullmer was 100% responsible for absolutely the best dental experience I have ever had. Most dentists work ON your teeth. Dr. Fullmer actually worked with me closely in taking a man that has had too much dental fear in one lifetime and making me feel informed, comfortable and as pain free as any root canal can be. When I went in for the consultation it turns out I needed not one, but two root canals. When I checked with him on whether he could do both since the teeth were neighbors he rearranged his schedule to get both done at the time. One was in fairly bad shape and needed more time than the standard root canal but he made it happen for me since I didn't want to come back for a second appointment. I can't recommend Fullmer Endodontics highly enough for their knowledgable, sensitive and respectful approach to endodontics. If you have any dental fear at all, this is the place to come! BTW he doesn't charge for the Psychotherapy for dental fear... but he probably should. His "team" approach to working in your mouth is awesome. read more
