I was unfortunately in a fender bender and my neighbor Chris told me to bring my car here. The moment I got there everyone was so nice. I didn't know where to park so the guys in the garage told me to leave it where I had it and they would take car of it. The moment I walked in to the office I was greeted by Toni who walked me through what to expect, who would be handling my case (her and Gunner) and what number to reach them at. I just picked up my car and it looks brand new! The paint job is a perfect match and they detailed the inside (which I feel bad about because I have small kids). Someone hit my new car in a hit and run in a parking lot. I've used Paul's auto repair on Cutter Mill Road before and knew I could trust them to fix the damages to my car. They are a Geico approved shop so that makes life easier when going through insurance. The employees at the shop are extremely knowledgeable and friendly (S/O Toni and Gunner!). My car was ready in about two weeks which had been promised when I dropped my car off with them. I highly recommend them to anyone dealing with automobile damages. Northern Blvd Collision was recommended to me by our office secretary who spoke in glowing terms about them but was not an easy lady to deal with. Thus, I knew these people had to have the patience of a saint. I came in with literally a hole in my bumper from some asshole behind me who spontaneously saw green at an intersection when the traffic light was clearly still red. 1. Prices are reasonable, at least much more so than the other few shops up the street. Get a few estimates and see what I mean. 2. A genuine mom and pop, and really good people in a somewhat flim-flammy town when it comes to pricing. Family owned and the people are genuinely easy to talk to in a time of stress. 3. There are no stars to be given. The worst place to take your car. They process fraudulent reports to make money. I left my car there at 10 am and was waiting for a minor return repair needed that they did could not fix the first time. When I find out by calling myself not them calling me that I could not pick up my car till the next morning. Which left me with no way of going back home. I had to wait an hour for someone to get me. I will never use them again and no one should ever use them. They are thieves and could care less about their clients. Not to mention that they wrote up my claim for $8000 when it really should have been no more than $3000. Scam artists. read more

I'm bummed writing this review since I can't give Pat and his team another Star. Finding an honest body shop is hard. Finding a competent one is even harder. Finding a single place which does both is virtually impossible. Except for this shop. Any negative reviews are from morons who want miracles. Practical people know how good this place is. Pat + team Wow. No one enjoys a collision. No one likes a repair. But if that day comes, and it does (sadly) to all of us...go to this team. Even if you have to drive 100 miles, this is the place. I went to the store to get a few scratches removed. Here are the problems, 1. Overspray, overspray, overspray 2. Did not remove clear handle sticker on my door before paint job. He sprayed clear coated over it. Either very bad perperation or careless 3. Did not remove the scratch from the driver door as promised on our verbal agreement. I pointed this out when i went to get the car. He said he will try to buff it out since he forgot. It didnt work... Half done job. 4. There was a small fresh scratch on my car after the service was done. 5. Very expensive, cash only, and no receipt. With all that being said, I will never bring my car here ever again. I bought my car new and its only 2 years old. Theres no point of bringing my car back to get it fixed again from Northern blvd collision because they will probably cause more damage since there very unprofessional. Wasted my money and time. Very professional and honest service. When I had a big dent in my door other shops wanted to replace the entire door and repaint the entire car so that everything would "match". They wanted to bill insurance over $2500 which would have cost me $500 deductible. Pat the owner called in his dent guy and the entire job cost me approximately $60! I am recommending this body shop to all my friends and family! I brought my car in because of a very silly and embarrassing mistake I made of cleaning sap off my car using a scotch bright pad. Of course I felt like a complete idiot (you live and you learn) but this being my first car that I've ever owned, and not really thinking clearly in the moment- I had scratches on every panel of my car once it dried. I went to one other body shop in Great Neck- North Shore Auto Collision (right around the corner) to get an estimate, they wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount to have it sanded and buffed. They tried to make it seem as though the damage was a lot greater than in actuality. The scratches did not penetrate to the paint- only the clear coat. So I wanted to get a second opinion because I obviously knew they were ripping me off, I spoke with Pat on the phone and he seemed really nice and understanding, I decided to bring my car in, he took a quick look at it and said no problem, he gave me a very reasonable price. I dropped my car off and in a few hours it was ready to be picked up. They really did an amazing job, my car looks brand new again. All of the scratches are gone. My car was hit while parked on my street. The whole passenger side was smashed so I needed to get it fixed. I'm new to this area (nyc) and was looking for a body shop that would be honest and fair with me. I was hesitant to bring it anywhere in New York because I thought they were going to rip me off. So hesitant that I was going to bring it back to Philadelphia (that's where I moved from) to a shop I knew so I wouldn't get ripped off). Pat (and the rest of the people that work at NBC) took such great care of me n for a very reasonable price. My car came back looking brand spanking new. I had taken it to another place before I found NBC to get an estimate and they were just going to slap some filler on it when it clearly needed new doors and they were going to charge me an enormous amount of money. NBC put new doors on n really charged me a fair amount of money and they were honest. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a body shop. Also, I know for sure that they put new doors on because a few weeks later someone backed into my car crushing the passenger side doors yet again (just my luck). NBC is the best body shop around and Pat was very easy to talk to and very fair. My car is going back in today to fix the new bang up on my car (I seriously just have to laugh bc my luck lately is just unreal). I know it will come out looking perfect.
