As if the doctor has the beginning stages of dementia. At the very least, he did not take careful enough notes to remind himself of a conversation he had with his patient and the reasoning why he prescribed a particular treatment plan. Decisions made following a thorough, lengthy discussion during visits, he would prescribe medication, one would assume based off of his professional medical expertise, only to later insinuate that I somehow 'tricked' him into him prescribing a particular medication. Finally, as he begins the process of retiring, he hires two young ladies who should not be in the field of medicine. Young, condescending, belittling, unprofessional, and would reverse an established treatment plan on a whim. No discussion. No replacement treatment, just stopped because they just didn't like it. If you've never found yourself in this type of situation with your established medical team, I will tell you, it is terrifying. There is nothing you can do or say. As your new, forced upon you physician/PA/nurse, they hold all authority, removing you off medication that you depend on as part of your care. Absolutely do not trust this practice. It was an embarrassing and humiliating experience. I was embarrassed for them. Akin to a group of children playing doctor. Clueless and dangerous.

I reassured her that I was taking it to maintain my menstrual cycle and it didn't matter she told me to find a new doctor which I was going to anyway. Where previous physicians dismissed my complaints and were quick to trust test results without first listening to what I had to say, Dr. Kelleher started with a head-to-toe discussion to find out what my problems and symptoms were. He answers my questions (even when they're silly) and listens to my explanations of what's going on with my body. You'd think that would be a given, but in my experience, it's very rare and worth a 5-star review.

Usually it's the one male that answers the phone and he is rude and unhelpful. I have high deductible insurance because it's the best I can afford currently from my employer. He needs to be more sensitive to people's different insurance situations. You're a front desk worker at a medical practice in America, you should know how this works. Medicine is run by the insurance companies, not the doctors. I can't just pop in there for an appointment every time I have a question because it's $101 each time. I've had the flu and now a sinus infection for 9 days. My daughter was sick for the whole month prior to that. The costs add up. I know when I have a sinus infection. True, self diagnosis isn't ideal but in America, it is all I can afford. It's not like I'm asking for a controlled substance. Anyway, I'm nauseous and coughing and have a fever and I just wanted to talk to the doctor, dude. Not listen to your condescending bs about how she needs to know what she's treating.
