It has been 14 days since I ordered from Northeast. 2 emails, 2 calls, 3 times messenger and no response. Worst customer service ever! They do have an 'F' with the BBB. Sure wish I would have checked before ordering but they were referred to me by someone who has ordered multiple times with no problem whatsoever. And $8 shipping which is economy. Hate to see express shipping. I'm still waiting. just messaged them one more time and told them I will file a complaint with PayPal to have my money refunded. See that one star? It's because the chips are good enough to overcome inept and unprofessional shippers. I ordered chips to be sent to my older brother. I filled out the order form, put his address in the shipping address and mine in the billing. Double and triple checked and hit ORDER. I was then transferred to PayPal to complete the payment (not my choice) and, after confirming my payment info, again, hit send. With no explanation, PayPal switched the send address to match my billing address. That's on PayPal...I don't ding Northeast Snacks for that...what I DI fault them for is IGNORING my calls, emails, texts, tweets and facebook messages asking them to switch the address so my gift would go to the right place. I called 4 times in that first day, 4 more times the next...I sent multiple emails...I tweeted at them...I posted on their Facebook page...I sent them multiple Facebook Messenger messages. I NEVER heard from them. I did this for several days until I received a notification that the package had shipped. A bunch of days, a bunch of days to respond...and nothing. My brother's chips were delicious. And he LOVED the bigger (but less expensive) box I sent him from PASnacks.com. And I loved the second order I got from PASnacks.com. I will NEVER order from these clowns again...so typical of the NEPA mindset. read more

I tried to order one, just one, bag of Middleswarth from across the country (they were allegedly having a sale). After two months of no tracking number, I emailed. A few days later, I called, and sent a FB Message. They gave me no response. I requested a refund with PP, which they completely ignored. Finally, I escalated my request, and sent screenshots to PP, and finally got refunded. I wish I looked at their reviews sooner, because they are littered with complaints like mine. I am almost tempted to say it's a money laundering scheme or scam, but maybe the owner is just lazy and thought I wouldn't submit a claim. I ordered two three pound boxes of Middleswarth Chips, one Salt and Vinegar, one Sour Cream and Onion. The confirmation email included no tracking number. Two weeks later, still no chips. Finally a delivery came, almost three weeks after the order, but was only one of the two boxes the order invoice from the delivery company shows. Emails to complain get bounced back as undeliverable. The contact phone number is just a message saying to email or use Facebook messenger for issues with an order. Facebook messenger is an autoresponse saying they will respond within 24 hours. I really, really, really wish I would've checked the reviews before I ordered from this UNPROFESSIONAL JOKE OF A COMPANY, I placed an order for middlesworth chips on May 4,2024....The shipper they used is the biggest problem, Sendle, they turn the delivery over to the USPS, On May 11 I received an email saying my package was delivered to a postal locker, but when I check my mailbox ( normally the mailman puts a key in my mailbox for the locker but, HE DOD NOT) so I assumed the email was referring to a postal locker somewhere else, so I contact Sendle.. after 28 corespondents ( yes, 28 different people) i was given 4 different locations of post offices where my package might be. No one could tell me exactly where it was. They just kept giving me different phone numbers to call, NONE of which would answer the phone, so I took a day off work to find my package since I work 50miles from the post office, they are closed when I go by in the morning and closed before I get done working, I eventually find out the mailman DID put my package in the postal locker attached to my mailbox, but forgot to leave me the key, SOOOOO the chips sat in a metal locker in 100 degree temperature for 4 days, needless to say, they were trash when i opened them, completely stale, no crunch at all. Phone calls, emails all unanswered, and kicked back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. Chips stamped with $4.99, I paid $30.00 for 3 bags. One involved no shipping for 2 weeks, to which I sent an inquiring email to get no response, only a shipping notification the next day as if it wouldn't have shipped otherwise. I usually order Middleswarth potato chips on the company's website until my son introduced me to Northeast Snacks. Not only did I save money ordering here, but my order arrived in less than a week! When I called the company to make an inquiry, I was greeted by a gentleman who was both courteous and professional. Update to Original Review: On 02/27/2018 I placed my order and on 03/12/2018 (later than expected I received an email stating the items were fulfilled and shipped/ a tracking number was provided). The items however were not shipped and tracking information stated that only pre-shipment information was sent to USPS. On 03/16/2018 I emailed the company with no response. On 03/26/2018 I filed a claim with PayPal as items were still not shipped, no response was made by the seller to PayPal. On 03/30 my items were finally priority shipped to the destination and were received damaged. I received a response from the seller today 04/04/2018 apologizing for the issue but not citing a reason. Basically, the email stated that the problem was resolved since the items were delivered (despite being over a month after order and shipping was to occur). I replied still requesting a refund for the delayed and damaged products and have not yet received a response. I am continuing my claim with PayPal. I do not recommend ordering from this company. read more

This is the second time I ordered from them. First time, It took weeks to get my chips. The other items ordered at the same time took about a month to get. I figured, it's a pandemic, I will give them a break. So, fast forward to now. I ordered chips and other snacks. The chips arrived in horrible packaging. Ok, I let that go. It has been over a month. I still don't have my other items. I emailed. NO RESPONSE. So, I called. I actually got someone on the phone. They said the shipping folks leave a 3pm but they would get back to me on Monday with a resolution. Still haven't heard anything. I called again. NO ANSWER. So, I emailed today. Sadly, if no one answers tomorrow, I will have to call the credit card company. I was so excited to have someone that could send me these items and now I will have call my credit card company to dispute the charges. This company is fly by night. They don't have the in-house capability to even create a spreadsheet to track their information. Received an email stating there was an issue with the chipscriptions but tracking info was on its way. No info yet. This is 5/16/18. I would post negative stars if I could. This business is a joke. Extremely misleading advertising and has the absolute worst customer service. I placed an order for a Christmas present on 12/15/17. I paid for 2 day priority shipping so it reached its' destination in time for Christmas. Needless to say, it arrived 12/26/17. I tried calling and emailing the owner numerous times for a refund. It was not until I filed a dispute with my credit card company that I got a response from the owner. He said that we would refund my payment if I sent the entire package back to him in the original condition. Basically, he wanted me to take back the Christmas present. I ordered an assortment of chips on November 27th. I was then assured by the owner, Albert, that the order would be out in priority mail the week of Dec. 9th. This did not happen. I contacted him again on Dec. 18th. I was given a telephone number to call, but no one answered and the voicemail box was full. I contacted them again through email and was not responded to. The payment for this order was taken out of my account on November 27th, but, here it is, December 23rd, with tomorrow being Sunday and Christmas being Monday, there is no chance of receiving this order by Christmas and no order, no correspondence, no nothing. This order was supposed to be a present from his home state to my husband, who spent last Christmas in Afghanistan. I hoped it would be a nice Christmas for him, since last year's Christmas sucked, but thanks to Northeast Snacks and Albert, he, again, will have a sucky Christmas. read more
