Let me start off by saying Krispy Kreme is my favorite donut shop and that to me cake donuts are second to dough but as a donut shop that focuses on cake donuts and that offers a selection of cake donuts and toppings that rivals Cold Stone Creamery, Duck donuts is an awesome alternative to Krispy Kreme. Though I am really not sure what a Duck has to do with it... We had 5 in our party and we each selected a different donut style. Being an over achiever I took it a step further and validated that I could mix and match any combination of icings and toppings and they acknowledged it was fine. In the end I chose a chocolate/peanut butter cake donut with jelly filling with a s'more shake on the side. I have no doubt that for some that coupling would be diabetes delivering but the warm cake donut with the delicious toppings, paired with a fresh shake were outstanding. I expected the wait to be longer since they fry and prepare each donut separately but was pleased to find it took less than expected. The experience was unique, delicious and welcomed. to say my experience was bad is an understatement. extremely dissatisfied. store was dirty floors felt sticky just to walk on them icing was a mess and saw the worker pull a hair from one of the icing and she didn't change the icing and pro to dip my donut back in it also saw a mouse run across the floor. donuts were very messy and icing was all on the outside of the box making it really sticky. employees were rude and disrespectful not just towards me but towards the other staff member i don't know for sure but im pretty sure the rude employees name was abby but i am not postive overall a bad experience and very expensive for an unpleasant experience read more

Have been to a few duck donuts in Virginia and happy to see them in our hometown area. Stopped at the WB location after leaving the shopping places close by for a quick donut/coffee run. It was Saturday around 1:30 pm and only three girls working. Time wise it was a bit slow but service was they were all super friendly and apologized for the wait. Ordered a mocha and it was tasty but not super hot. Then I got two donuts... maple bacon and seasonal jelly filled with chocolate drizzle. Flavor was great on both and maple bacon is a fav of mine from here. Location was nice and clean but smaller than expected. read more

If you happen to be out and around in Wilkes-Barre PA., then you have to go get your donut fix at the Duck Donuts shop. They make the donuts fresh right in front of you, never prepared and stocked on the shelf. They are fast, or that is as fast as it takes to cook a donut. The staff is very friendly and have a positive attitude. The donut shop is not over populated with gadgets like you would see at a Starbucks, they do have some merchandise however not overwhelming. The shop is mainly for ordering hot and extremely fresh donuts for the on the move customer. Plenty of lightning in the shop which makes it a very welcoming area. The ambiance is fine, to be honest though it's a little dirty sometimes. I think it's really tight too with the space and lines. The prices are good for what you get though, not overpriced. The food is great! It's really fresh.. as you can see when they make the donuts. The milkshake was okay though. I got chocolate and my boyfriend got vanilla.. the chocolate tasted more like coffee. I'm fine with this but others may dislike that. My boyfriend said the vanilla tasted like nothing. The service was kind of slow which I can understand but the workers were nice which is a plus to the situation. I will be coming again, maybe for dates, but not often. read more

I'm not a fan. These donuts seem good at first, but after a few bites, it has a terrible after taste. Like melted plastic and soap. It's hard to explain. The donuts are good. The coffee is good. The service is slow. This is taking into consideration that the donuts are made to order. Watching the process is could be faster. After ordering 2 coffees and 2 donuts and paying for the order the coffee was delivered to us immediately. 20 minutes later our donuts were ready. If you like hot donuts and hot coffee this place is not for you. For any other combination of products that are offered 4 or 5 stars would be appropriate. Expect to be squeezed into a small space.
