And no one wants to feel pressured into treatments that are unwanted. In 2024, I received a cleaning, x-rays, & a gum treatment (that I don't believe was needed). The practice's statement showed insurance overpaid on the work done yet I received a text showing a balance due. An employee reviewed my account & said the insurance overpaid & nothing was due; she also could not explain a $217 charge the practice posted to my account 3 months after the appointment. No copays were applied for any treatment. In 2025, I wanted only a cleaning & the practice refused to proceed without forcing x-rays on me; they provided the cost & insurance coverage for the 2 items with no copays discussed. Months later, a text arrived with a balance due. Again, the practice had been overpaid by insurance for the work done & yet applied a charge to the account months after the appointment. Billing claims it was for a copay & that they should have applied 2 copays for preventative work; & for 1 treatment the staff forced on me! Same work & same insurance coverage as 2024 yet now they want to apply copays. Client well-being is the least of Middle TN Dentistry's concerns; it's all about the money they can get from insurance and clients.

Dr. John Reynolds Gave Me My Smile Back!…read more Tthe Saturday before Memorial Day, I bit down on something hard and broke off 2/3 of my front tooth. We were leaving for vacation just 2 days later and I looked bad... real bad! Didn't think I could get it fixed over a holiday weekend, but we called an out of town friend who is a cosmetic dentist and she gave us Dr. Reynold's contact information. Left a message on his cell at 10pm, expecting to get a return call one or two days later. Instead, he called back at 11p. that same night and generously offered to come back from his family weekend on Monday afternoon to fix my tooth. I was amazed! The quality of work he did to repair my tooth was excellent. He treated me kindly and was obviously considering my anxiety about being in the dental chair during the procedure. I could not have been more pleased! Thank you so much Dr. Reynolds for going above and beyond and giving me back my smile!
