Middle TN Dentistry is not a practice that can be recommended. The inconsistent and incorrect billing practices are the worst I've seen in any medical practice ever. And no one wants to feel pressured into treatments that are unwanted. In 2024, I received a cleaning, x-rays, & a gum treatment (that I don't believe was needed). The practice's statement showed insurance overpaid on the work done yet I received a text showing a balance due. An employee reviewed my account & said the insurance overpaid & nothing was due; she also could not explain a $217 charge the practice posted to my account 3 months after the appointment. No copays were applied for any treatment. In 2025, I wanted only a cleaning & the practice refused to proceed without forcing x-rays on me; they provided the cost & insurance coverage for the 2 items with no copays discussed. Months later, a text arrived with a balance due. Again, the practice had been overpaid by insurance for the work done & yet applied a charge to the account months after the appointment. Billing claims it was for a copay & that they should have applied 2 copays for preventative work; & for 1 treatment the staff forced on me! Same work & same insurance coverage as 2024 yet now they want to apply copays. Client well-being is the least of Middle TN Dentistry's concerns; it's all about the money they can get from insurance and clients. read more

When I checked in for my appointment I told the receptionist I had appointment. she was rude not friendly at all very cold attitude not even a smile or how was my day Zero personality My hygienist pretty much had the same attitude not very friendly she had a long face without a smile what happened to excellent customer service !!! I see Dr. Fields. She is an exceptional dentist and person. She makes you feel at home (for those who are nervous at the dentist). She has such a sweet disposition. She has truly become my friend. All of the staff there have always been cordial and so helpful with any of my issues. Five stars from me read more

The dentist is wonderful. She explains and listens to what you are saying. The front office lady is the worst. I was treated extremely rudely. I was questioning some info and she told me she was through and I could go. It seems to me her job is to help and not hinder the situation. I am paying my past due bill with protest. The billing department will not respond to my calls and neither will the corporate office Marquee Dental Partners. I had a gut feeling this would happen when I received my first statement a year ago. Peyton told me not to worry about it- well a year later and I am paying $517.00 more because she doesn't know how to bill insurance correctly. I have talked to my insurance carrier and they have in fact paid them twice-they paid them the month stipend and they paid my claim in full. I wish I had read the other reviews before going to this office. Patients beware- this could be you too. Editing my review- after calling corporate a few times to get help and then acquiescing, I phoned the office to make the payment and was told the statement was being updated to reflect that I was not responsible for the additional charges. I would recommend you find a different dental office. For many reasons. 1)The dentist who did my crown work in October of 2021 misplaced the nerve block, causing blurred vision and nausea. This was enough to shatter my confidence in this dental office. 2) My husband also went here for some dental work around the same time, and they gave him a massive quote for everything he needed done. He got a second opinion from a different dentist- same work suggested, half the price. We now go to Berry Farms Dental and are very satisified with their work, if you would like a second opinion as well. 3) Flash forward to this week, and I got an almost $200 bill from this place. I paid in full what I owed at the time of service, so I was very confused why I was suddenly getting billed out of nowhere. The person I spoke with said the office is under new ownership, and they were "cleaning up some invoices." She said they had been going back and forth with insurance (from work done in October of 2021), and insurance had just denied the claim (in Feb of 2023). So I got stuck with the bill. If they didn't clear the work with insurance before the work was done, I don't know how that is now my problem. It is not right for them to come back and ask me for more now (a year and a half after my visit), when I was told my balance was settled at the time of service. read more

These people made me sit in the lobby for 45 minutes before telling me that they were going to deny me care. I sat there and could overhear them talking about me. They said that I was a problem patient. The only thing I ever did that would label me a problem patient was refusing to sign a $1000 care package. I didn't agree with their treatment so I refused to sign. The next time I went in for a simple cleaning they made me sit in the lobby for 45 mins before telling me they were refusing to see me and were kicking me out of their practice. Avoid this place. I went there for several years and it was a constant merry go round of different dentists and none stayed very long. The straw that broke the camel's back was my last appointment for a cleaning and check of a major piece of work the dentist had done, she never appeared nor did any other dentist. Upon investigation after leaving I learned she had left So, my bridge was never looked at post installation. Not to mention that I had a long delay when the first "bridge" was sent as two crowns, LOL, total incompetence. Don't even get me started on their business office and billing staff. read more

I should have read the reviews before going but here's another 1 star for them. They don't have their act together. They messed up my appointment, they didn't do a cleaning even though that's was the main reason for the visit, they didn't tell me they didn't weren't staffed for a cleaning, and they just told me to come back other time. read more

Dr. Fields and the whole staff are great. I've had so much dental work from other dentists. Dr. Fields is honest and proficient. She does great work, no hiccups and no wasted time. She doesn't recommend extra dental work you dont really need. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You'd be lucky if this was your dentist. read more

Stay away! You're not treated like a human being here. I had to go in to cancel an appointment because they hang up on you when you try to call, and when you ask them to call you on their texting service, they never do. Don't get me started on how they treat you in the chair. read more

Awful dental office. Staff never answers the phone first off. You always get a different dentist so you never know who you are going to see. The front lady who does the billing told me they wouldn't see my child since he only had X-rays a year ago when the ADA states that 18-24 months is the appropriate time for repeat X-rays in children with low risk for cavities. No dentist walked in they are totally unprofessional . She started telling me this ridiculous story about how my insurance won't pay without X-rays...LIE. I think I would know since its my insurance. Will never go back to this place. Hoping to find a good partner for dental care for life . Dont waste your time on this place. read more
