I messaged Mariko informing her that this happened and asked politely to get refunded and to try different way to make her practice more sanitary. Her response was far less than satisfactory. She informed me that she could not give me a refund and that she was sorry. Overall, I would highly highly recommend finding someone else to do your eyelashes. I've ate some below average sessions and haven't complained or raised a fuss. I've bought extra sessions when someone canceled to make up for therapists loss in compensation and tipped handsomely. Our eldest daughter is battling cancer and has a 3 and 5 year old. She is under going chemotherapy and continuing to work through her final year of residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Residency is a surmountable challenge of itself let alone undertaking chemo treatments every week. My Wife and I have been taking turns flying back and forth and the appointment for Saturday eluded me. I advised my wife Susan to take my place so Hannah wouldn't miss an appointment and my wife could get a wonderful massage that would be sorely appreciated. After waiting for weeks for the call, I called them to find out they had no record of the referral. I had the referral sent again, filled out forms, and now I've been waiting for a week for a scheduling call back after I was told they would call back in a day or two. I can't seem to reach anyone via phone. They suggest trying the "chat" on the website but after waiting for a bit it just says "Sorry! Could not connect you to an agent, please try again." This is during business hours.

I expressed that I wasn't happy with the outcome and the stylist agreed that it looked different, gave me an explanation as to why my hair didn't end up looking like what I wanted, and made me feel like the reason I wasn't happy was because of my own unrealistic expectations. She did offer to do another session for free to "try and meet my expectations" but asked that I wait a few weeks so we wouldn't damage my hair when adding more bleach. It's been exactly three weeks so I reached out to book the next session and she let me know that she's moving and that in order to get it fixed my only options are to drive four hours round trip to see her or find someone else. Between the "new client deposit," the cost of the service, and the tip this cost about $350. This is the worst experience I've ever had not only in the way my hair turned out but also the way the stylist made me feel.
