Milo and Mia HUGE FANS of North Texas Veterinary Clinic

Amazing, Loving, Caring and Very Knowledgeable Staff... Highly Recommended for sure! ***** We have used North Texas Veterinary Clinic for many many years. Our new Pups Milo and Mia Love These Folks!!!

I've been going to this vet for over 4 years with my dog Marcie. They have always been great, I recently got a puppy and they are both always excited to go to the vet! All of the front office staff are super nice and the doctors are great

What an outstanding experience and found our new vet. Looking around for a checkup with our Aussie and as always relied on good reviews from Yelp. Made an appointment for first thing the next morning. The front desk staff was very friendly when we walked in and the vet tech equally friendly and caring. He got all of his shots, heart worm test, anal glands expressed, office visit and prescription for heart worm prevention all for $175. I'm very satisfied with the cost and even more so the staff. Dr Gray was extremely nice and answered any questions I had. Our appointment was for 9am and out of there in 36 minutes. Great job NT Vet Clinic!

My best friend my everything has pass and I am still wondering why they didn't have everything they needed to take care of of him

We absolutely love this place. No need to try the other vets in Keller. We're making this our regular veterinarian. I recommend you do the same. Came in today for bortadella booster required for doggy day care. They had us in and out in less than 5 minutes. I called this morning at 8:00 they said we could come in at 8:45. So I straightened the house for a little while then went in. Now I'm writing this review at 8:55am in the parking lot. In and out. No waiting. Piece of cake. Easy peasy lemon breezy....

I read a review that said this office refused to fill online prescriptions for their patients if it was something that they sold at their office. I called to verify if this was true prior to making an appointment for my bulldog and it is true! The only place they will fill a prescription with it vet source who they have a contract with. We have bulldogs and are constantly at the vet. One of them has degenerative myelopathy . The only way that we can be vigilant about keeping our vet appointments is by saving money by using Chewys for our prescription pet food and meds.

    Scratched eyeball! Silly Cole...

She diagnosed and a treatment plan was to give him a series of Adequan shots. I paid for 8 injections up front and then during this series of injections, there was a billing discrepancy. All over a the number of shots my dog received. I'm talking about one $67.35 shot! On my second to last time there, I went through it with the nice young ladies up front and thought we had it straitened out. Then, my next visit, the discrepancy came up again. They gave me a print out summary and it was all jacked up. Showing 2 shots given at one appointment, not showing another appointment and on and on. Then, the "Manger" (Hunter), came out with attitude (as he had in previous visits too). I feel like he went out of his way to make sure it was my mistake, not his (or the clinics), and have me corrected. I was upset and I asked them to refund me for the number of shots they believe I was owed. They refunded me for one less shot than I believe I had paid for. Then, they had the nerve to send me a certified letter saying they didn't want to do business with me!! LOL! As a customer/ patient, I think his persistence in saying I'm wrong and he's right about the billing is ridiculous! I'm the customer (it's not about the stupid $67). What's a shame is, it's not about the clinic and the majority of the staff, it's about one over zealous employee.

One star - Poor care, no accountability, and a deeply unprofessional vet…read more It's unfortunate to write this, as I had been a loyal client of Boulevard Animal Hospital for years under the excellent and compassionate care of Dr. Joe Allen. But after his retirement, the quality of care declined--culminating in an unacceptable and unprofessional interaction with Dr. Erin Hauser. During a call about a serious and unexplained 8-pound weight loss in my dog over 60 days, I voiced reasonable concerns and asked direct questions about how this could have gone unnoticed. Dr. Hauser became immediately defensive, deflected blame to a vet tech, and ultimately hung up on me mid-call--claiming I was being "hostile." I was not. I was clear, firm, and appropriately concerned for my dog's health. Her response was reactive and unprofessional. I contacted the practice manager, Jennifer, who acknowledged this was not acceptable and said she expected Dr. Hauser to apologize. Instead, I was told Dr. Hauser cried and refused. After that, the practice went silent--no apology, no accountability, and no further communication. The final blow came when I received my pet's medical records. The notes had clearly been updated after the fact to include gaslighting language and self-protective reframing--mischaracterizing me as hostile, emotional, and irrational while avoiding any acknowledgment that a licensed vet had hung up on a concerned client. It was a textbook case of rewriting the narrative to protect the provider rather than the patient. That's not just unprofessional--it's unethical. This clinic once stood for high-quality, compassionate care. What I experienced was a breakdown in clinical standards, emotional deflection, and a vet more invested in defending herself than caring for the animal. I've taken my dog--and her records--elsewhere. I'm sharing this for every pet owner who expects honesty, care, and professionalism from their vet. You should never be gaslit or silenced for advocating for your animal.

After reading the reviews on Alta Vista Animal Hospital, I decided to make an appointment. And I'm so glad I did!! I took our 8 year old English Bulldog, Molly, in this morning. From the moment we walked in, Molly was at ease. And so was I! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The office is not fancy, which reminds me of how a vet's office used to look! No granite, no fancy finishes. I don't go to a vet for those things. I go to a vet for my pet's health care. Now, Molly is no small girl. And she can easily intimidate fols with her loud breathing and size. But not one staff member treated her as a scary beast. And it showed in Molly's reaction. She was cooperative with each person who worked with her. Dr. Stephanie Hutchinson was beyond wonderful! She was easy to talk with and she was so great with Molly. She did not try to force several hundreds of dollars worth of tests on us. She listened to me and more importantly, trusted my knowledge as Molly's momma. She did not chastise me for Molly's illness nor did she tell me that my little girl was too fat. Obviously, these are things that have been said and done to us by other local vets. I am thrilled to have found such a great vet in this area. We have been here five years and thought we would just have to deal with having poor veterinary clinics and services. I am so pleased to say that this will not be the case!! I highly recommend Alta Vista Animal Hospital and Dr. Stephanie!

Post surgery I was given generic instructions that I was told they give to all of their spay patients. The instructions were accurate for a dog or a cat. They instructed to not give food until 8pm, and then, to only give half. They also instructed to withhold normal water amounts until the following morning. These instructions are not only incorrect, but would have been extremely dangerous for a rabbit's post operative care. They go in ato GI Stasis if they don't eat. Thankfully, I had done my own research and knew that. When I asked the discharge tech at what point I would need to bring her in if she hadn't started eating yet, she replied with, "Oh I don't know. Maybe a couple of days?" If I had followed both the discharge post op instructions as well as this tech's directions, my rabbit could have very likely died. It's considered an emergency if they haven't eaten anything for 12 hours. At the 11 hour mark she had not eaten anything so I took her in to another vet that offered emergency care. She needed critical care syringe feeding, pain medication, and sub cutaneous hydration. I will be writing a second YELP review tonight for them, and it will be 5 stars, instead of 1. These mistakes and miscommunications could have been extremely dangerous.
