We called a different company to come assess the issue and they told us we needed to replace the entire door and that it would be upwards of $5,000. We then called this company for a second assessment and they sent someone out the next day. Ryan was super professional and came out to assess the problem. He ended up charging us only to replace the bolts and went above and beyond to tighten up/clean up everything like the springs while only charging us less than $200!! He also said there was no need to replace the whole door and reassured us that it was totally safe. He was fast and thorough and just a very nice guy. My door will go halfway up and then it STOPS!! I unhooked the chain and could use JUST 2 fingers to lift the door. So I hook the chain back on and it stops halfway up again. Now I have to help the door up. I called and spoke to CHUCK and told him what was going on. I asked for a new Motor to be sent out and all CHUCK could do was talk about money. He wanted a fee for having someone come out when the part HAS a WARRANTY!! he's say no other part is covered and I would have to buy a NEW motor. I told him I didn't need anything but a new Motor. CHUCK wouldn't listen to me. So new OVERHEAD DOORS won't stand behind the product they built unless you buy something from them. So I'll go to Home Depot and buy a new door opener and when people ask me about OVERHEAD DOORS, I'll tell them how crappy they are. I'm going to GOOGLE NEXT, then Yelp, then Facebook, ECT...You guy's are a CRAP COMPANY to do Business with.

We had some damage to our garage door, and wanted to see what it would take to repair. They were the 3rd or 4th company that was in contact with us. With no reviews on Yelp, I wasn't sure what to expect. The first two companies wouldn't even entertain the idea of a repair, and told us it would need to be replaced. The gentleman that came out (I'm sorry, not great with names) came out and was able to get the door operational. He made some recommendations and gave me the pros and cons for repair vs replacement. After weighing the options, we opted for replacement, and were quoted about $400 less than 2 of the competitors, which was great. When the young (again, I apologize for lack of names) he came out and installed the doors, and it looks great. Everybody I had contact with at Top Gun was very friendly and treated me in a manner that would ensure a longtime customer instead of the typical squeeze as much $$ out of you as fast as possible and "who cares about future business".
