When I arrived home from work today the Saguaro was cut down to approx 5 to 6ft? I understood just the arms would be removed. Basically the Saguaro was destroyed along with my flowers growing near it. The flowers were very special to me. My father planted the seeds before he passed away last July, and they were beginning to grow and were very special to me. I understand it may have been challenging for the person to take extra precautions to save my flowers, but I sure would have appreciated a little care. My heart sank when I returned home from work and found them destroyed. Of course, I can plant more seems, but those were planted by my father. My heart is broken. We asked that much of the fullness be left on the tree as it shades the house during a particularly hot summer. Too much was cut from the tree so the shade now is minimal. I would recommend tagging branches you want cut or providing a photo. Otherwise too much may be removed. Note, it was done prior to an aggressive monsoon, so we were ecstatic that two of the branches were cut. We wanted to save as much as possible of the other branches.
