The bathroom/dressing area was HUGE; no bumping elbows trying to get ready. There is complimentary bottled in the fridge. The mattresses were indescribably comfortable. The lobby area is appointed with comfortable sofas, loveseats, slipper chairs, interesting art work and historical information. And then the meals. Complimentary breakfast consisting of hash brown casserole, grits, sausage, bacon, biscuits, assorted sweet rolls, cereals, grapefruit, fruit salad, grits, egg and cheese casserole, toast, juices, teas, coffee.And did you see--COMPLIMENTARY! Our class also reserved their venue for our post reunion gathering and HEAVENS at the food. Chicken Salad on crossoints, pork tenderloin snuggled in a cheese biscuit, assorted cheeses, meats and crackers. But that's not all. We also had Brie baked en croute, a selection of fresh fruit...strawberries,blueberries, apple slices, FRESH mandarin oranges, red and green grapes, all with a delicious sweetened yogurt dip. There was a cash bar offering a variety of beers, wines and cocktails. And as if that's not more than enough, the staff is charming and fun and uber eager to please. Our one half century college reunion was totally excellent due to the highly professional, competent capabilities of the Bleckley Inn. We are already planning on stopping here again next year. The hotel was comfortable and clean and the employees were very nice. The outdoor pool was nice and private. Our room was clean and I loved the decor. Breakfast was just so so for me - we've had better at other Hamptons - but it filled us up so we didn't have to stop anywhere else before we got back on the road. Overall, a great hotel in a great location. We will definitely be back.

Our rooms looked amazing, very cozy beds, granite counter tops, etc. 1 night we wanted to watch the Bears game down in the lobby. However, it was unacceptable for management to contact law enforcement to force our party out of the hotel after my daughter asked about their policies. I hated to see my daughter in tears out of poor treatment, and my granddaughter conducting meetings outside in the cold. I have never experienced this type of treatment in all of my years and travel experiences across the world and under the Hilton brand. This was so unfortunate and disappointing. Please do better.

Constantly getting barked at, sharing an elevator, barking outside. Not peaceful at all. No joke, i found dog feces in the hallway twice. Unfortunately, its not the hotel, its the ignorant people that ruined my stay. People feeding their dogs from their table during breakfast! This hotel needs a pet policy or it will only be a people with dogs in the future and lose all other customers. I asked the front desk and they said they do not limit the number or the rooms people can have pets in. At the very least limit people traveling with animals to the first floor.

None of this was mentioned anywhere during the reservation process. The TV was not working properly, the bathroom was filthy, and the room on a whole was a hot mess. I had a blanket with me, so I figured, I would lay that on the bed, get a few hours of sleep, and be on my way. I got a call from a family member, who wanted to come visit/spend the night, and I just couldn't do it, so I wound up checking out and going to another hotel. The ONLY bright spot was the lady at the front desk. I wish I could remember her name, but she was very friendly, professional, and helpful. She definitely deserves to work at a better spot than this. I wish I had taken more pics, but I wasn't there long enough. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere other than here.

We were setting in the lobby area having coffee and they kept adjusting the temperature. They say at a table and refused to make more coffee. On the morning of the 8th I had to flag down housekeeping to change me sheets and leave towels. They ran a dust mop over the bathroom and entry vinyl and pushed the dirt in a corner. From the looks of that corner it was numerous times. No service was done on the 9th at all. So we had no fresh towels. We noticed we were all getting red bug bites all over us (we had 11 rooms in our reunion group). Breakfast was lacking but the weekend staff did not want to make any more of the sausage, Baccon and hash browns once they were gone. Once coffee was gone they did not want to make any. Not a very pleasant stay and we will definitely use a different facility next year.

The kitchen area includes a large counter, sink, microwave and refrigerator...perfect for football Saturdays. In the morning, I dined at their in house cafe and opted for the apple cinnamon Clemson waffle. It was great! The only downside is that I grabbed a Sprite on my way out and it was six months expired. The staff was apologetic and kind enough to let me grab another option. In all, it's a great place and I'll definitely stay at The Abernathy during my next visit.
