My friends and I recently stayed at Liberty Hall Bed & Breakfast, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending the morning on the upstairs balcony, reading our books and enjoying the calm surroundings. It was the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and simply enjoy the moment. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep after a day of exploring and visiting with friends. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding and felt like a special treat. The Greek yogurt parfait was fresh and delicious, and the crème brûlée French toast casserole was absolutely amazing. The hashbrown casserole and bacon rounded out the meal perfectly, creating a breakfast that was both comforting and memorable. Liberty Hall would be an excellent choice for so many occasions, whether you're planning a wedding, looking for a romantic getaway, organizing a girls' trip, or simply wanting a peaceful retreat. I stayed at Liberty Hall bed and breakfast a few weeks ago, it was a complete gem! The moment you arrive we felt the historic charm of the property inside and out. The owners ( two couples) are professional and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure guests are comfy, we had no issues whatsoever. We are so glad we stayed here for a few nights. You can walk downtown for restaurants and shops. You have everything you need in one place, southern charm, tasty homemade breakfast, snacks, coffee in the room and in the main dining area. Plenty of seating- lounging areas for your comfort. Our room was absolutely beautiful, there was a balcony with rocking chairs. I highly recommend all to give them a try if you're in the area, we will most definitely stay here again! This was another unique experience not far from my home. Absolutely loved our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the inn itself is beautiful and full of charm. The breakfast was delicious. The innkeeper who was there the day we visited was kind and encouraging, even letting us eat breakfast a bit earlier than normal so my daughter could have plenty of time to make it to her college interview. What could have been a stressful weekend due to the nature of the interview ended up being a lovely time away. We will most certainly stay here again when we come back to the area. This historic home is situated perfectly among the majestic trees and quietness of the town. The hosts are two couples, brother and sister and their spouses. They make you feel welcomed and like family. I don't usually stay at bnb's, but I am glad we chose this one. I have always admired old antebellum mansions so this one was a dream. The breakfast was delicious and served on beautiful china. The property is perfectly located to travel to other small towns. It was just what we needed as a couple get away. Liberty Hall is a beautiful historical home. The owner, Devon, was friendly and professional. She was responsive to, and accommodated, our needs. We enjoyed "The Sunflower" with its two twin-beds as it was just my son and I on a college visit. The room was perfect for our needs--larger adults may not have been comfortable in the small bathroom. It overlooks the backyard which looks like a picture-perfect setting for a small wedding. I look forward to bringing my husband up in the coming years while visiting him! read more

We very much enjoyed our stay in room number 5. The Inn keeper was so very kind and welcomed us with true southern hospitality. The breakfast included over easy eggs, fruit, bacon and lemon ricotta pancakes! It was all delicious and our first time for over easy eggs! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and decorated to fit the southern charm vibes throughout the house. The hosts are very nice, fun to talk to, and make a delicious breakfast. There are pickleball courts in the backyard, it is walking distance to the shopping/dining downtown square, and lots of other things to do and see within driving distance. Liberty Hall Inn is a MUST STAY in the Clemson/Pendleton area! This beautiful 1849 circa home has been restored to reflect the original architecture while ensuring modern comforts for a wonderful and relaxing stay. The Inn's new owners Angela, Chef Mike, Devin, Andy and "Intern" Jack, welcomed us like old friends with charm and warmth that represented Southern hospitality, at its best! We ate scrumptious breakfasts each morning at 8:30 am., and mouthwatering pastries in the afternoons and evenings - including THE BEST brownies I've ever tasted... Our guestroom was HUGE, with a comfy king-sized bed, Large TV, WIFI, bathroom with shower, and private porch . We absolutely LOVED our stay, so much that we booked two more extended weekends right after the first breakfast. Wherever we live, Clemson will always be home to us. We're hoping we've found that Liberty Hall Inn will be part of that home, too. read more

Stayed here last weekend...what a friendly staff! Great room, very clean, warm, inviting. This is a hidden gem that unfortunately..for them..but fortunately for me is not well known to Clemson University visitors. Convenient to campus and has a cute little town very close as well. Will stay here again next time I visit my daughter at school. Did I mention the restaurant...well we did not have a chance to have anything other than breakfast due to the hectic schedule but they have a wonderful outside dining area..cool little bar..and a nice old southern dining room. What a wonderful way to spend our wedding weekend! We were recently married in a location near the Liberty Hall and were so fortunate to have chosen this beautiful and lovely venue as our Bed and Breakfast! We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier with the overall experience. It was spotlessly clean, absolutely beautiful and the decor was tasteful and authentic to the historic era of the home (I believe it was built in 1849!). Our room was spacious with a cozy loveseat for watching tv or lounging, an intimate 2-seat table, a huge armoire and other amenities such as a Keurig maker and sound machine for sleep. The bed was super comfy. Our daily breakfasts prepared by Susan (who is an awesome cook!) were scrumptious with presentations to remind us that we were being pampered. Susan was absolutely delightful and we enjoyed many conversations with her. She made sure we knew how to contact her for any needs throughout our stay but did not hoover which ensured this is as intimate of an experience as you'd like it to be. I could totally get used to walking down this beautiful hall to find my breakfast ready for me every single day. Can't wait to stay again in other seasons to enjoy some of the local history as well.
