After breakfast, my brother and I went to North Star Mall to tool around. I needed to purchase a few gifts for sorority sisters for sorority meeting. North Star mall was festive with many shoppers bustling about. Store managers were eager to sell their goods. Gift ranged from extremely expensive to very high end. Fortunately, I found some ornaments that you could personalize. Their names on the ornaments made them very special.

Nice mall with pretty much all the stores you would need. I like that there's a Saks Fifth Ave at this location as well. There's plenty of restaurants or stops to grab a quick bite. Plenty of parking spaces within the garages and surface lots, even a valet parking section. Always love driving past the "worlds" largest cowboy boots!

My husband and I went to North Star Mall to see the World's Largest Cowboy Boots. This landmark is located right at the entrance to the mall on San Pedro Avenue. It's not a great tourist attraction to take a selfie in front of without having to dodge traffic. Parking is pretty easy in he parking garage nearby. It's still worth while to take a few minutes out of your day to see.

Good mall. Overall has lots of shops inside and a good variety overall. Usually most employees are pretty kind through. I've had good experiences at majority of the shops here and unlike la cantera majority of the shops aren't pricey or super expensive. Lots of thing to choose from for entertaining or shopping. Overall this is a mall you can have a good time in and it's not run down or fading out. There aren't a bunch of empty shops and the environment is nice.

This mall has all of the basic stores you've become used to seeing at a mall. This mall is known for the iconic, cowboy boot statue at The entrance. Has all of the stores, I like to frequent such as the Apple Store, Tiffany and Company, Victoria's Secret, Bath & body Works, etc. has a variety of restaurants as well.

Only in Texas could you find something as quirky and over-the-top as the World's Largest Boots! Located right outside North Star Mall, these iconic cowboy boots are absolutely massive and make for the perfect photo op. You can't miss them--they're 35 feet tall and have all the charm you'd expect from a Texas-sized attraction. What I loved most was the unexpected delight of seeing something so uniquely Texan. It's free to admire, quick to stop by, and fun for all ages. Whether you're a tourist or a local, you'll appreciate the sheer audacity of these boots.

A must stop when you're in San Antonio. Cute spot for some photos of the giant cowboy boots

Lots of shopping store choices and four Major anchor stores. Parking is quite very busy and not enough. Needs more food court choices.

Apparently, you don't like my J-oaks. Let's move on. Pretty spectacular high-end outdoor shopping mall in San Antonio where, unlike the Quarry, every business seems to look the same and have the same design and storefront, which can make it really hard to actually find anything - but it's still really cool. I played a pretty famous show here a very long time ago when there used to be a Borders here. Fun times. We came here recently shopping for Barbie and we had a good time. Late night date spot called the Flying Saucer (and there I thought the one in Houston was a family business, ew). There is an ice cream store here and some bubble tea here that recently changed hands but my girlfriend hasn't changed hands in a while and hopefully she won't anytime soon.

My youngest daughter had a friend who was a Swiftie (Taylor Swift fan). Her birthday party was quickly approaching. So glad we stopped here. I wanted to continue shopping, but I also had a long trek ahead of me. Very plain Jane shopping center. Free parking. Brainless drivers in this area, though. Be careful.

The Alley On Bitters is the cutest shopping center and a secret gem!…read more This amazing shopping center is located in the north San Antonio area (just a few minutes from the airport). They have all sorts of local boutique stores with one-of-a-kind items, as well as galleries, wine bars and even fitness centers. They have plenty of parking, so no need to worry about that. This shopping center feels a lot like being out of town in Fredericksburg or something like that. The wine bar is absolutely amazing, and they have so many amazing shops to hop around. Everything is super hyperlocal and definitely worth checking out. I found some very unique items during my last visit and can't wait to go back! If you love to support local, this is definitely the place for you!

The aesthetic of the building were extremely pretty! The shops mostly had reasonable prices and plenty of items to choose from. Only thing I will say is it needs some upkeep on the decks and railing as me and a few other customers had a hard time slipping and sliding. Very dangerous! Other than that very pleasant place to shop.

Strand by me! Strand in the place where you are!…read more This is a cool shopping center located right off the corner of I-10 and Huebner. It's got a huge monument sign out in the ample parking lot. I've always felt safe here. The parking lot is well lit, and there's a nice sidewalk that takes customers from one establishment to the next. Some of the places even have spots outdoors to enjoy the weather on the wide sidewalks. The center has a Flying Saucer anchoring at one end, and a movie theater next door. There's a wide array of businesses here, usually with few vacancies. There's lots of car dealerships within a stone's throw from this spot. Accessing this spot isn't quite as easy as if it were right on the hard corner of Huebner and I-10, but it's accessible by any road that comes off of that intersection. There's plenty of ways to get in and out of this shopping center. The place is always picked up and litter free which is pretty cool!

This is located at Huebner Oaks Shopping Center in San Antonio, around the back in the plaza itself, and this section is known as The Strand and is separate from the traditional Huebner outdoor in-the-round strop mall. This one is like Huebner, which is a very posh and enjoyable shopping center. I like to come here whenever I can because it has good memories and it's extremely well done. Barbie loves it here too and looks great here, but it can be a little bit difficult to walk around this mall with heels. Still, it's much better and more enjoyable than most strip malls, and has beautiful distant old memories for me, too.
