Dr Shank and his staff provide great service and truly cares for his patients. When you walk in, you see a small waiting room. There is a basement play room for where the younger kids can play while they wait to be called in. The receptionists are courteous and always on top of things...very efficient. They greet the kids as they walk up come in the sign in. Dr Shank embraces technologies. He has a web site where you can check your appointments, and register for TXT reminder for appointment. Recently he sent out mail and emails about an event he was having to show his appreciation for his patients. A day when any one of his patients could come in a get free ice cream. A small gesture, but a very thoughtful one. Went there today to have my son's braces adjusted (only ran into 2 people that we knew), and he walked out with an Italian Ice. :)

So, when I found myself needed an adjustment for myself due to excessive grinding, I ran to Dr Lee. knowledgeable, well mannered, awesome Doctor and person. His staff as well, are all pleasant, and on point with the needs of every single patient who enters the office. I was not excited to have to have braces on my lower teeth at the age of 62. Being I grind at night as heavily as I do, throwing my bite off was inevitable, eventually creating discomfort . Dr Lee assessed and implemented a plan that worked. I felt relief a couple of weeks after having the braces. Again, having to have this at my age was not something I was looking forward to, but It was necessary . The staff and Dr Lee made my process as pleasant as it could bee. Being I am a grinder, I have had issues before, and have been to other Orthodontists. Seems every 10 years or so my jaw acts up because the teeth shift from all that grinding. I do wear mouth guards. Seems the one I was given from a prior Orthodontist was not helping either. So, when I found myself needing an Orthodontist again, I was so glad I remembered Dr Lee and the exceptional experience we had when my son was a patient. Also , there is something to be said about the Dr who's staff stays as long as Dr Lee's staff has. One of the girls since retired, but, the rest? All the same dear ladies. My lower braces were removed a week ago. Although I was thrilled for that removal day to come, I was sad because I was done. I assure you, your experience as well as your child's, whom ever is needing the braces, will be a good one, in every aspect . From start to finish, and all the in between, Dr Lee and His Staff will indeed do their best to make your experience as pleasant as possible. And for the whole time those braces are on. For example, my insurance allows 4 cleanings per year, in other places they were calendared ahead of time one each quarter. Here: they only schedule 1 appointment, then tell you the next available appointment is 4 months. So basically you miss your second cleaning. So you ask them to proactively schedule the 4th appointment so you ensure you have it- they won't! Then to top it off they just cancel your appointment because all the hygienists call out sick on the same day. You would think they would try to fit those clients into the schedule. No!
