We went to the crossroads, Bellevue Police Department, and had the most amazing experience! we were greeted by two wonderful volunteers and we asked if were still available because it was first come first serve from 12pm to 4pm, we showed up around 230. The volunteer said "nope we have plenty " gave me one and gave my fiancé one ! Some of the nicest people ever met!! We stayed and talked with them for about 10 minutes just about what's going on in the city and how we can protect ourselves better.

Literally everything from family, heirloom jewelry to every pair of shoes to all of my furniture. Ext. But to top it off, they also were holding my cat hostage essentially. I owned my cat well over a year before he and I started dating. And chipped and registered under my name. I was trying to let everything go with them throwing my belongings away as long as I could get my cat back, but they were proceeding to say that my cat was "missing" or dead. I called several times to file a police report about my stolen cat and I was told that it was a civil matter and had to go through the courts. The fact of the matter is my cat is my personal belongings and that is a theft! Finally, one of the officers reached out to my ex-boyfriend and his mother and told them that they needed to give the cat to the officer to be reunited with me. Once again, they decided to play games and refused to give my cat to the officer. When I asked the officer so basically I just have nothing I can do until they decide to stop being childish and give me my animal back. And he said. so I took it upon myself to take steps to ensure that I would get my cat back. I ended up having to meet with a mutual acquaintance who set me up to be ambushed by my exes, mom. I have bruises. This woman came out and verbally and physically attacked me. The silver lining is that I got my cat back. ZERO THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT AND SERVE! I understand that may seem like silly reason to get the police involved. But I've lost everything already. My cat is my kid. A fine example of our tax dollars being wasted. Unfortunately, I was a victim of domestic violence and through the Covid pandemic. I've gotten to know the VA Police Department very well on various levels. There was an officer that assaulted me when I was having a depressive moment in my life from domestic abuse walking outside from the park to towards Baskin-Robbins. There was a nosy neighbor with a dog that thought I was trying to vandalize cars, and I wasn't. I had a rock in my hands to throw it in a puddle. It splashed, and the water splashed on the car tire. Unfortunately the witness had his facts wrong and he couldn't see because it was dark. The next thing I know he pulls out his phone to call 911 and have the police arrest me. One male police officer, and two females approximately, threw me to the ground, handcuffed me, and started yelling at me as I was crying. The police officer was so excited about getting me upset. He said I'm taking a picture of you and he pulled out his phone and put my face in the phone to take a picture. The women were on board with this and said nothing. The next thing I know they told me I was resisting a rest, and they were concerned, even though I was telling them my side of the story. My mother was so concerned she called the police department, and the officer told her that I was resisting arrest, and I was not intoxicated. I was thrown in the back of their ambulance and four point restraints and taken into an area of holding area as I was stripped naked as they watched and then they told me not to move around because I'm under video and they do not want to see my body parts. However, when I'm feeling attacked, I move around and now they're uncomfortable with me being in four-point restraints as my clothes were being ripped off of me. I also had concerns about both the police working with CPS and heritage Christian Academy in partnership. The communication between these three different entities was a breakdown moment. I was not shocked and surprised how I was treated that night being arrested in front of Baskin-Robbins and thrown in four point restraints by three cops. I still think about it every day because it was an assault. It was abuse. It was an abusive power. I tried to report it and receive police reports, and there was no response. Police officers are above the law. I will not call the police again and I will not work in their jurisdiction because I don't trust these cops anymore. I will not work with people. I do not trust. I do not hang out now in Bothell proper so I can avoid them like the plague. I do not want trouble with the cops. I do not need their judgment and I do not appreciate them hurting me as I have bruises all over my body from that night. They left me in four point with restraint on a gurney in solitary being monitored with no food and water again. The cops, the cop left their chest held high shaking their fist. I'm a hero. I'm a hero. However, they did not spend the night in solitary naked in four point streets on a small gurney. In the military, we trained for that we trained for the opposition we trained for what it feels like to be captured. I would like to see both the police and Kirkland police work together too be in my shoes. I would like to see them assaulted by four or five cops so they can understand what it feels like to get really arrest, arrested and their local community not Justin The academy but real time. I would like to see both the police do some cross training with the big boys in Seattle proper and the real big boys in Stockton and Modesto, California. These men, these police officers in those areas know how to triage petty versus real. My understanding with Kirkland in Bothell police they're meeting ticket quotas and a rest quotas and that is just my opinion I understand they like PR opportunities as well as I observed and worked with these people and partnership as well as being a victim of abuse. I reached out to the both police department to express my concerns and there was no response so that's why I'm writing this today. I needed to get this off my chest to move forward in my healing. I hope one day that I can trust a police officer again.

Formal Incident Statement Date of Incident: January 24, 2026…read moreLocation: Encore Hotel - East Lobby, Boston, Massachusetts Involved Agency: Everett Police Department On January 24, 2026, my sisters and I were at the Encore Hotel in the East Lobby attempting to return our brother's phone and room key to him. Our brother was a registered guest at the hotel. We approached hotel security and calmly explained that we were trying to assist him by returning his belongings. We asked whether hotel security could call his room to confirm whether he was upstairs so he would know that we had his phone. Initially, Everett Police officers on scene indicated this request would be allowed. While speaking with hotel security, I asked the security supervisor to contact his manager so the matter could be resolved appropriately. The security supervisor refused this request on multiple occasions and stated that he did not have to contact a manager because he "hold the power." The security supervisor then continued to argue with my sister and stepped into her personal space, moving close to her face. This behavior continued even after I told my sister take steps backward in an attempt to create distance and de-escalate the situation. Shortly afterward, the hotel security supervisor became involved and began yelling directly in my sister's face, despite me remaining calm. The supervisor then ordered my sister off the property. After my sister stated that the manager's behavior appeared prejudiced, I was treated as "guilty by association" and was also ordered to leave the property. The supervisor and Everett Police officers began yelling in my sister and I faces, unprovoked, while we were simply attempting to help our brother. The security supervisor escalated the situation further by involving the Everett Police because he did not like my sister disposition, despite the fact that I was calm, cooperative, and not causing any disturbance. This resulted in the police being used to remove us rather than to de-escalate the situation. All Everett Police officers on scene refused to provide their names or badge numbers when requested. Officer Descriptions (Names and Badge Numbers Refused) Officer 1: White male, late 50s, bald, brown eyes, half-oval/almond-shaped eyes, approximately 5'6" tall. Officer 2: Black male, late 50s, dark brown skin tone, short fade haircut, brown eyes, approximately 6'2" tall. Officer 3: Black female, early 30s, caramel-brown skin tone, wearing braided or woven hairstyle, brown eyes, approximately 5'5" tall. Additional Officers: Two additional Everett Police officers were present but did not speak during the incident. The officers chose to side with the corporation rather than assist civilians who were acting lawfully and attempting to de-escalate the situation. We were forcibly removed from the Encore property and made to wait outside in approximately 8-degree weather for about 15 minutes while waiting for a rideshare. This occurred despite the absence of any threat, disorderly conduct, or refusal to comply. The conduct of hotel security management, and the Everett Police officers was hostile, unprofessional, and appeared discriminatory, particularly toward Black women who were acting lawfully and respectfully.

Worst Experience I have ever had. Michael from the phone team picked up my call and called me to…read morethe station to report my hit and run case. When I got there, he made me wait for an hour and a half, hung up on me multiple times when I was asking clarifying questions, and gave me alternative information on how to speak with an officer from when I asked other police departments for support.
