I unfortunately witnessed someone in dire need of medical care and resuscitation. When called they were first on the scene and worked very hard to help stabilize this person who needed help. It wasn't a pleasant scene, but it was great seeing in person these brave first responders in action. No Rescue me or Ladder 49 here. A real-life spring into action to help secure a scene, oust the fire and help the victim. When I saw SFD FF, I waved, and he gave a thumbs up as the truck headed back to the station. Stay safe out there and do your part to prevent wildfires or any kind of fire for that matter. Don't want to sound the PSA alarms but doing our part can make sure SFD can do their thing top notch. The hardworking guys and gals here are so wonderful. They are selfless, reliable, and I have no…read morewords to express how thankful I am for every single one of them. They were the first on scene when there was an incident that could have ended badly for my fiancé. When I was a teenager, they helped me with mental health related calls along with EMT and police officers. Very recently they saved my childhood house (we still own and rent out) from completely burning down. My father spoke with an investigator and fire chief about what could've caused it and they're still trying to figure it out, but even if they never do, they saved the house. Without them, it wouldn't even be a structure anymore and definitely not salvageable. I gotta make y'all cookies or something. You guys deserve way more but I wanna do what I can to show my appreciation.
