I hired this company and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish,…read morethey were very professional and easy to work with. They really listened to what I wanted and helped bring my vision to life. The quality of the work is excellent. You can tell they take pride in what they do and don't cut corners. Everything was handled with care and attention to detail, and it honestly turned out even better than I expected. They stayed on schedule, kept the area clean, and made the whole process way less stressful than I thought it would be. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality contractor. So glad I hired them!

I had South County come out to the house after a reference from a co-worker. I had just purchased…read morethe home which had a lot of electrical issues which were found in the initial home inspection. The previous home owner apparently thought they were electritians, too... I had already sent South County a copy of the inspection, which they not only went through, but completed their own inspection and confirmed all of the initial problems. They installed new lighting, corrected socket wiring, wired in some new sockets, installed recessed lighting and trim, installed new plate covers, wired in a bathroom fan, fixed the outdoor lighting, and I'm sure some other things I'm forgetting. The owner and his brother came and completed the work. They worked tirelessly for the day and got everything completed in one day for what I thought was surely going to be a two day job. South County was efficient, the price was right, and the quality was phenominal. They went through the house and left all the screws in the panels so the screw heads were in line vertically. Can't beat that!

Growing up my parents always said to help your people out, hire your people. And through out life…read moreI have. But hiring Cardenas and Sons was not what I expected. The work was messy and today really put a bad taste in my mouth. When one employee decides to do work without contacting his boss and gave my dad a price for what my dad asked for him to do. Which is fine but when you just start making holes in the wall to put an outlet under a water pipe. Thats when I stated asking questions. Like isn't that dangerous and is it legal? So I decided to call the company and they tell me all he is doing is helping my dad move a fridge. Making me out to look like a liar. As the employee is signing not to tell him what he was doing. Be a company with integrity and great customer service. That will go a long way for any small buisness. Will definitely never use you again. Its sad cause you looked honest but looks can be deceiving.

After NextEnergy screws you over, you will be livid and will try to contact them and demand a resolution but it will be completely opposite from when they were trying to get your business and with you every step of the way - now they will be nowhere to be found, you'll never get a call back or an email responded to. Then you'll think "fine, then I'll just drive to their office in Lathrop to see them in person!" Well yea, you could do that, but unless you're into climbing over barbed wire chain link fences, the only thing you're going to get from that experience is the loss of a tank of gas. You've been warned folks, I wish I had been.

Not sure why it is so difficult to find a handyman or contractor that will do a medium size job…read more Very glad I found Peter with PJP Contractor & Handyman. We had a list of things we needed done in our new home and putting up an arbor (pergola) in the backyard was one of them. Many phone calls later in addition to a few guys coming out to bid on the job, finally Peter gave us a quote, which was an extremely fair price and he said he could do it for us. Instead of a week or more that others said it would take to finish the arbor, Peter said he would have it done in 2 days and he did! When he gave the quote for the job, he wrote it out with 3 different choices of wood and the price for each for us to choose from. He showed up on time when he said he would, worked solid for 2 days and finished when he said he would, the whole time being very professional, polite and friendly. The quality of his work is outstanding. It looks great, it's very sturdy and you can see the pride and time he spent building this for us, just like he was building it in his own yard. Can't say enough good things about him. If you're looking for a handyman, contractor, Peter at PJP is the guy to call without a doubt. I wish I had more work for him to do.
