One of the worst customer experiences I have ever seen. I usually do not fill out reviews or rate companies but I feel obligated to warn anyone who may potentially use this company to stay very far away. You will notice from every single other review this is a pattern of behavior. I have also filed a complaint with the state of GA and will share my experience with others in hopes that they might avoid a similar situation.
07/22 - AC failed. Called Home Warranty and was told a RUSH ticket was started and service company would be out in 24 hr
07/26 - No contact from service company, Called the home warranty company and was told North Metro AC was the service company and provided me a number to call. Called North Metro Air and was told they would be out between 1 and 5 the next day
07/27 - Took a half day off of work to be home for service window. At 4:45 they had not arrived or called so I called the office. Was rudely told a tech was still coming. A little after 6 a tech arrived. Randy was very nice but needed help on the phone diagnosing the problem. Was told the compressor was broken and a new one needed to be ordered. He would try to rush it on account of the extreme temperatures and my infant daughter in the house.
07/28 - Inquired as to the timeline of the part with Randy, was told the office would call the next day
08/03 - 6 days with no call I Inquired to Randy again, no response. I called the office and left a message, no response.
08/04 - Called the warranty company, they informed me there would be additional labor charges to fit the part to my system as a direct replacement was not available so they would not cover it. I agreed to the additional charges. They stated North Metro Air would have the part and schedule the service by the next day.
08/05- Called North Metro Air, left a message, no response.
08/08- Called North Metro Air, was told that the warranty company was waiting on my approval. I let them know that this wasn't true. I had approved it last week and the warranty company had already informed me the part was there/available and I needed to schedule a time. Was told, "oh, well I call you back with a time" rudely and hung up on.
08/09 - Called and left 2 messages, no response. 3rd call I got through at the end of the day and they scheduled a tech for the next day to complete the repair.
08/10 - Tech arrived, different one than previous. Very nice and apologetic for the delays. Once he began the repair he discovered it had been misdiagnosed, it would require total replacement and those parts must be ordered. He apologized and let me know that the previous tech Randy was the "big boss's son" and was newish and missed the obvious need for replacement. The Tech was very sympathetic and told me he would try to rush it. I thanked him asked if he would please have a manager contact me as the delays were getting to be out of control and August with no AC and a small child was dangerous.
08/11 - Contacted the warranty company and approved the new estimate, let them know the poor and rude service I was getting from North Metro Air. They told me to try and get a manager involved. Called North Metro Air and requested a manager, was told Eric would call me back that afternoon. No call received.
08/12 - Called North Metro Air as parts were received. Scheduled an installation date of 08/19. Requested a call from manager, did not receive one.
08/19 - Took half day off for installation. When the tech did not arrive I called and was told that despite having the parts for a week one half of the unit to be installed was still at the warehouse. The office lady I spoke to told me she would pick up the part herself and have the tech come out the next day on Saturday. I thanked her and requested a call back from a manager as well. She would call me to confirm the time for the Saturday appointment. No call received, no Tech was assigned to Saturday.
08/22 - Tech came and installed the new system. Was polite and system appeared to be working properly.
08/23 - Received a voicemail requesting payment. Called back and left a message explaining that I would like to speak to a manager about my service still and settle the bill.
08/25 - Called North Metro Air and left message requesting a manager call to discuss service and payment, no response
08/29 - Received a voicemail Demanding payment and threatening collections. I called back and left a message, again requesting a manager call me to discuss my service and payment. No response
09/05 - Brand new system froze up completely and almost fried the brand new system. The tech's did not check through the system and the filter was in need of change and installed backwards. I had to diagnose and fix it myself
09/06- Called North Metro Air and left message requesting a manager call to discuss service and payment, no response
09/09 - I called North Metro Air and spoke to Office Manager at length. Was unwilling to work with me in any way due read more
