In an industry dominated by big-box names and corporations or cheapskate, God-only-knows-when-they'll-show-up workers, finding Comfort Solutions is a terrific blessing. They were responsive via their website, phone, and text quickly. The office staff (Ms. Amanda, I believe) was courteous. She explained my options to me and let me pick what was best. The tech, David, showed up in the window and did good work. He educated me as he worked, including telling me several steps I could do myself to save money and time. He was very personal and professional both. It may not be a big deal to all, but they have both their mission statement and their vision statement on their brochure, which means a lot to me: "We are dedicated to being well known in our community for providing the highest quality of HVAC services the industry has to offer. Bought or home four years ago knowing a 2 system upgrade is required. Being that we purchased an older home we have many upgrades and projects to shuffle and have worked methodically through our list. During the past 4 years Comfort solutions have helped us maintain our current (1992) systems and patiently assisted us in keeping them going until we can do a full upgrade. I know the tech team shakes their heads when they see our address but to their credit they repair, patch, and advise. Short game is a challenge and they're up to the task every time. I reached out to Comfort Solutions about a year ago for a quote to replace my AC unit. Their proposal was detailed and provided a decent price. Now that I was ready to make the investment I called in to schedule the service. The staff was very nice and even honored the price that I received a year ago which was about a $500 difference. I immediately scheduled the service and the installation team arrived promptly at the agreed time (9am) and were done by 2pm. The entire experience was great and they even offer interest free financing through their Rheem vendor. I highly recommend this company and plan to use them for all my future HVAC service needs. read more

do not use this company. we bought a brand new home and the developer used this company to install the AC systems. we noticed immediately upon moving in that the system wasn't cooling properly. we called on saturday when the house was very hot and uncomfortable. the company told us we would have to pay an after hours fee to have the someone come out since our warranty only covers them to come out on week days. (so stupid). they sent a tech out who gas lighted me and said everything was fine and the reason the system wasn't cooling was because everyone in the city was running their AC and the power grid is overloaded (this has NOTHING to do with my ac not cooling properly.) we called another tech out when it completely stopped working over a weekend and he immediately noticed the system was completely wired incorrectly to only work at stage one (or half capacity). How did the first guy not notice this??? This also caused our electric bill to be $400 since it wasn't working efficiently. He rewired it and the following weekend it stopped working completely AGAIN. the tech that came out noticed a massive leak and the coil was broken. Of course they don't carry the coils in stock so it had to be ordered. We called to see if it had come in and it did, without any notice from the company. Had we not called I'm sure they would've never let us know it had come in. I frequently see comfort solution's service van at my neighbors' houses for days at a time, probably because their ac system was also installed incorrectly and they're having issues too. we had 4 nights of completely zero air conditioning, my newborn and toddler were down to their diapers and were sweating from the heat. We didn't even get offered temporary AC while it wasn't working. i would never trust this company to work on my AC system if we didn't have a warranty from our home builder. go with a different company, these folks will cause you more issues and headache. Excellent service! Purchased the service through Angie's List in the middle of the night. First thing in the morning, I was contacted by the company to arrange an appointment time. The lady on the phone was friendly and helpful in trying to make an initial diagnosis of what was wrong with my AC. The Technician-Patrick showed up right at the scheduled time. He too was very friendly. (Come to find out he's my neighbor from down the street!!) He diagnosed the problem quickly and had my system up and running in no time!
