In an industry dominated by big-box names and corporations or cheapskate, God-only-knows-when-they'll-show-up workers, finding Comfort Solutions is a terrific blessing. They were responsive via their website, phone, and text quickly. The office staff (Ms. Amanda, I believe) was courteous. She explained my options to me and let me pick what was best. The tech, David, showed up in the window and did good work. He educated me as he worked, including telling me several steps I could do myself to save money and time. He was very personal and professional both. It may not be a big deal to all, but they have both their mission statement and their vision statement on their brochure, which means a lot to me: "We are dedicated to being well known in our community for providing the highest quality of HVAC services the industry has to offer. It is imperative to provide same high level of comfort and confidence to our customers, as we do our own families. We provide honest and ethical services, and always strive to do the right thing for the customer no matter what. I wanna start of with what truly happened and how it got resolved. He didn't try to over sale me something I didn't need. I have a new ac system and furnace installed with some duct work and the price was incomparable to other companies I called, there financial options where absolutely outstanding which made the price of the unit just that much more affordable. Moving forward to the installation, this part gets a bit rocky. I had two crews come out, the first crew was suppose to be my original crew for installation. There craftsmanship wasn't the best, I will say it was concerning and I was completely dissatisfied. I had air leaks to the basement and unfinished work, that was told to get a contractor to finish when in fact I paid Assured Comfort to install. I called the company and notified them of the issue and the following day they sent out a supervisor with a different crew the following day! This new crew which consisted of (Darryl and Mike) came and completely redid what the previous crew did! The difference was NIGHT and DAY!! When the second crew left they made sure that EVERYTHING was up to par and that I was FULLY satisfied with the system, appearance, and placement of Freon lines! It was an absolute art work of what they did compared to the previous crew. I do highly recommend Assured Comfort as this is the second home I've had them install a full system. Best HVAC experience we've had in 30 years…read more Our upstairs unit stopped cooling and we called another local HVAC company out to look at it. Took their tech just 10 minutes to tell us we were low on freon due to a bad coil and we were looking at $3500 to replace. Guy never used a leak detector he just knew the leak was in the coil. I wanted a 2nd opinion before spending that kind of money so I called J&R based on their 5 star Yelp rating and the things people were saying in their reviews. Joe showed up, immediately took the unit apart, and spent over an hour using a leak detector to try to locate the coolant leak. Couldn't find a leak. He ended up leaving the system pressurized with nitrogen over a weekend only to come back on Monday and find no pressure loss. No leak - no bad coil. The issue was the other guys (who've serviced our units for 2 yrs) had left the valve caps loose on the exterior unit. Joe's diligence and honesty saved us a lot of money and earned him a customer for life. Its really rare nowadays to find someone with this kind of ethics. Joe's a likeable guy, explains what he's doing and why, and isn't out there trying to run up the tab on the repair. You sometimes hear companies saying they'll treat you like family. Joe never said that and its not on their website or their marketing material but that's definitely how I felt I was treated - like family.
