The service and staff were very nice. We came in with a group of 11 on a Wednesday around 6pm and were easily accommodated. The food on the buffet was initially cold and dry, however, by the time round 2 came around much of it was refreshed and piping hot. Very good sautéed mushrooms, general tso's chicken and coconut shrimp. Good place if craving basic American Chinese food. read more

I was there around noon for lunch today. The food is disgusting. Terrible selection. Old and dried up. The egg drop soup was gel, not soup with broth. I haven't felt good since I left. I wish I wouldn't have ever ate any of it. read more

Good food and affordable!! My husband eats there a lot for work lunch buffet. I would recommend. read more

Lady was super rude. Ran my card and charged me two times. Then argued that she did not understand. She understood completely what she was trying to do. read more

Great selection of great food, they seat you quick so you can get to eating! It's a nice place to sit and unwind and relax.

Great coconut chicken!!! It's always very hard to find, but I wasn't looking....bam! There it was. read more

Easy to find location and sign.Good parking. Close to downtown.Very relax and friendly atmosphere.

We noticed the disrepair on the outside of the building and should have stopped there. But we walked inside. The vegetables were cooked well and the fish was tasty but everything was coated with a large dose of oil. I thought nothing of it until that night, overnight and this morning. I won't bore you with the details but I suggest if you need to avoid inflammation or a mega dose of fat, don't go in here. If you do, turn around and exit. I have eaten superb Chinese food in Chicago's Chinatown and Honolulu and elsewhere. This was just bad. read more

the food was cold and stale. their card machine wasn't working. They said one price and charged me another. Then pointed at the menu like it was my fault for expecting the price I was told by the child waiter. There was only kids working and doing all the work. This place is absolutely disgusting and I'll never go back! read more

Supremely unimpressed. Stopped in for lunch at 12:30pm (lunch rush). There were four customers in the store. I was seated and placed my drink order and proceeded to the buffet. My first choice was pepper steak, but the bin contained only peppers & gravy. Someone had absconded with the protein. So I went around to the pepper chicken, which I'm guessing was leftover from the Reagan era. Hard bits of "chicken" that will break your teeth if you're not careful. Likely cooked and recooked several times. I should also point out that rather than wash & sanitize dishes, they opted to use the cheapest styrofoam plates that Sam's Club carries, which do NOT hold a lot of food before buckling. Sorry about the general tso's chicken mixing with the other stuff. The plate decided to fail, even though it was only ¼ covered with food. I went for what looked like scallops, but it was some kind of onion thing, breaded and deep fried. I still don't know what it was. There were some labels on the sneeze guard, but they didn't match up with what was in the bain pans. Made it halfway through my (now doubled) plate before realizing the server forgot my soda. I had to get up and go interrupt her conversation with another server to ask if I was supposed to locate the soda fountain and serve myself. She laughed and apologized and scurried off to get my order. In all, I'm only sure of one item I had. The rest are a mystery. No check was brought to the table, and I had to once again flag down someone while I stood at the cash register. You can find this place in the urban dictionary between EPIC FAIL and PTOMAINE. Sorry, but I won't be back. read more

Absolutely a great place to eat! I'm a picky person and so is my family! Only place I'll go to for my Chinese food cravings! The owners are so sweet and respectful! The lady is super sweet! They're clean and always making sure their food is nice and hot and constantly ready. read more

The food was great! Everything was fresh, and delicious. The service was also fantastic and the atmosphere was very clean.

Food is very good, the only problem you will have is timing when they bring out fresh food because not many people attend this gem.

Horrible. Atroshish! Im never the type to write a bad review but i actually created this yelp account just to write this review. Long story short i found a ROACH in my food. Spicey Orange chicken to be exact. First time going into this place. As soon as i sat down i mixed my food and bam! A ROACH SOAKED DROWNED IN THE SAUCE! I told the ladies and showed them my plate and the crazy part is they just made a face like they got caught rather than they were sorry or surprised! I was absolutely appaled and disgusted. All the lady was worried about was me leaving and staying quiet. I demanded she changed the tray and all she was doing was mixing it around. If i could do 0 stars i would.. Disgusting! read more

North Garden - a plate of chinese food on a table - Chinese Near Me - Elkhart, Indiana

The food was not hot and the won ton soup had a spoiled meat taste. The fried rice had a funky taste. I ended up getting the white rice. The food was just horrible and I won't be back. If I could give zero starts I would. The manager didn't care or comprehend our opinions on the food. This Restraunt gets a lot of business from the surrounding hotels which evidentially don't no what good Chinese tastes like. It sure isn't this place. The waitress was nice and wanted us to speak to the manager that was a lady who spoke good English but when we got up to the counter to pay we ended up getting someone else. I tried it one other time and I though it wasn't bad. For my friend and I it cost us over$25 dollars which in included the cost of the drink. The tip was extra. I'll never go back again and I'm sorry I recommended this place to a friend. read more

Required masks and had gloves available, but didn't enforce wearing gloves. Most customer's served self without gloves. I won't go back.

There food is good, I work next door at McDonalds and it's a good place for lunch or dinner when ur not in the mood for burgers.

My husband and I ate here 6 days ago. The food was flavorful but they do need to turn up the heat on the buffet because the food is Luke warm when you sit down to eat it. A very decent price as a buffet for one adult was only $10.50 and they only charge $1.50 for 1 beverage. We will definitely eat here again since it is so cheap but the food taste good and will just keep in mind we need to get food quickly and sit and eat quickly since it gets cold quickly. read more

I travel a lot for work and eat chinese in every town I stop in. This is the best Chinese food I've had hands down. And the prices/portions are great. 12 rangoons for $6 and they taste great! I will be back read more

Worst Chinese food buffed I've ever eaten at. And I've eaten at ones all over the country. Selection was bad. There was a greasy film floating on the won ton soup. One table is all fried food. One is mostly chicken dishes. The desert selection was horrible. There was maybe 3 kinds of fruit and one cake. I actually started feeling nauseous before I left the restaurant. The only plus I could give it it was cheap. read more

Had the buffet, standard fare. Noticed my mouth was all irritated the next day, a sure sign of preservatives in the food, polysorbate, 60, etc. This means cheap ingredients. Noticed a waxy mouth feel from the fried rice. That is a sign of old, over-used oil. Apparently they use old fry oil to make the stir-fried rice since I didn't have any fried food. Most of the patrons were obese, some morbidly (~400 lbs) going for the oily food, tons of it. Can't blame the owners for feeding those heifers the cheap stuff. The obese are experts at hunting down the cheap $8 buffets and packing in all they can stuff in their mouths. Kinda ruins the dining experience for the rest of us. read more

Went here for the first time with husband and daughter. It has all of the standard Chinese buffet food with some yummy surprises. We love Chinese food and have eaten at most of the area places. Very good and decently priced buffet. Our experience was better quality than the in Dunlap/Goshen. We will be back. read more

Best Chinese buffet in Elkhart, hands down. Small place, good food. Only complaint about the place is that it tends to get super hot and muggy sometimes. Aside from that, the place is great. read more
