Quality Flooring installed new wood flooring in our guest room during a renovation in June 2025…read more. Some of the boards started peeling this June. I contacted John Milea, the service manager, and requested that the flooring be replaced. I sent him pictures of the damaged areas, and he did a site visit. I was advised that they would repair a few boards but replacement would cost a minimum of $2400 depending on flooring selected. He also sent an email stating the following: "We believe the installation was done correctly and that all in all you don't like the material selection that was made a year ago." I responded that what I didn't like was peeling wood and adhesive showing between boards. He also said that the current peeling was probably caused by moisture from a leak. Five boards were replaced on July 17th by a Quality Flooring Installer, and he said there was no underlying moisture. Obviously, the flooring is defective. I will definitely look elsewhere for any other floor replacement.

We chose Unique Flooring not based on their price, because they weren't the lowest bidder, but on…read morethe length of time he said we would be without a bathroom. He estimated one week; it took NINE weeks. We had other jobs we initially wanted to use this company for, because they started off really strong, but as time went by, we began to notice deficiencies. Erick and his crew were pleasant enough, but it is easy to deduce that they are accustomed to being subcontractors: cleanup is not their forte. They left my bathroom a mess, damaged the walls surrounding the bathroom they remodeled and ironically, they tore up my hardwood floors in my bedroom, hallway, and living room as they removed bathroom tiles, and instead of fixing them, told *me* to use furniture polish to repair it. As far as the remodel goes, the best thing we can say is it is better than when we started. There are too many things to list here, but overall, we are disappointed. We settled for second-choice items to "speed up" the renovation, yet still had to wait on other items, meaning we could have had our first choice anyway. Weeks into the "one-week" renovation, we saw less and less of them, as they had gotten busy with three other jobs before completing mine. We had to call them back after two weeks of not showing up at all to complete the job. We could not use our bathroom for more than two months, and once we did, we noticed things undetectable to the naked eye, such as puddling in the corner of the shower, or the window ledge being at three different angles! My husband did a better job sanding and painting the walls before they came back to complete the job than they got paid to do in the first place! I will not be using this company again.

Great serious company. I had them replace a carpet floor…read morewith vinyl planks on 8/21. The crew tore the carpet and installed the planks on top of the plywood floor. That crew wasn't the most knowledgeable or thorough. The floor looked great and I was very happy, but after 2 years the planks started to peal and break. This is what makes me give this company a 5 star review. I called them to inquire about fixing the floor under warranty even though at this point more than two years had passed. Bottom line is that they fixed everything at no cost to me. At first I thought they would only replace a few planks, but the guy they sent (Marcos) was super knowledgeable and thorough. He immediately assessed that there must be a problem with the sub floor. He took out the planks and showed me how the plywood was all but disintegrating at places. He made sure the job was done correctly this time, replacing the old (very thin) plywood with new 3/4 of an inch plywood. The floor feels now much more stable. He also told the company that we needed to replace all the planks. The company didn't bat an eye and approved the whole work. All at no cost to me. In my book that's A+ service. Everyone messes up, it's how you fix your mistakes that counts. The company stood up for their service and products. As a side note to Rick (the owner). You have a great employee in Marcos. I would have your other crew shadow him for a while or take some pointers from him.

We are about to have it painted but wanted to share these photos of the finished product before paint. K & K is reliable, responsive, and will work with homeowners and businesses to ensure the product is exactly as expected. We greatly appreciate their work ethic and their Commitment to quality. We've recommended KNK to other homeowners in our neighborhood who are in the process of contracting with them to make home renovations. we are all extremely pleased With their service and reliability. I know I keep using the word reliable, but it's so challenging to find a reasonably priced renovation or construction company that does what they say they're going to do. This company does that.
