After this freeze my car was dead I have a new alternator and battery less than a yr old. Kelly came out on time and proceeded to jump my car. He brought out the mobile jumper but it would not start my car. We tried the tow trucks system and it did not work no spark. Kelly says to me he has a fix and would be right back. 10 mins and he comes back with jumper cables long enough to reach that he purchased from O Reilly's Above and beyond. Zero stars This business has no signs in front. They dropped chain on my husbands truck while we were picking up something at the business's next door. Our truck was completely clear of any gates and was within 7 feet of road easement. The operator we believe does this on a regular basis to show intimidation. I was out on Sunday morning at 7:30 am teaching my son how to drive before there were to many cars on the road. We were doing 38 in a 35 when a tow truck came flying up and started tailgating us at a dangerous distance. The truck started swerving back and fourth and the driver started laying on his horn for 30 seconds or more at a time, finally he illegally passed us in a turn lane cutting us off. The name on the truck North County towing, my son was terrified being his second time out driving. I was able to get most of it on video and will be calling them but after looking them up online I imagine the owner was probably the driver. So I had my car impounded which I was living in and I have no money no job, I have been struggling with mental health and drug issues as well which resulted in my arrest getting my vehicle impounded. This was all while I even just went to ideal options and had my scripts ready at the pharmacy, it was just very pricey. But the vehicle is registered under my moms name and I'm not completely sure whether it's her name that's on the title before she changed it when receiving her citizenship and so we don't know exactly what name the vehicle is under and so they are being of no immediate help and all suggestions they're providing me with are options that will make releasing my vehicle way more than I can afford and will probably end up getting sold. I've begged nicely if there's any solution to getting me my vehicle back asap bc ive even been applying for jobs and without my vehicle there will be no chance of me to getting my life together or getting clean bc I am stuck at the only place that allows me to stay except I'm not 100% safe. I'm even trying to request a hearing and I showed up after "business hours" yet they're 24 hours but claimed the office was closed so then how are they 24 hours? How would one pick up a car after the "regular business hours?" A young relative lent her car to her boyfriend. He was pulled over for speeding. He didn't have a driver license as it had been suspended for unpaid tickets. He was arrested, the car was towed. She didn't have the $$ to get it out. Here's where I come in. We went down to the tow yard. The car had been towed on Friday, it was now Monday. They said she had 2 days before they sold it... but still would bill her for the fees and suspend her drivers license if she didn't pay. Wow. $541 dollars later, she had her car back. This is like loan sharking or grand larceny, it's amazing to me that this is even legal. Of course, the tow yard isn't at fault, it's their business and they follow the law, but to think that our state allows price gouging like this is disappointing. I gave this 2 stars because the woman at the desk was decent and kind, though I suspect had we argued (there was no point in arguing) we would've seen her mettle. Yet still, she was kind. I had my car towed from my house to an auto repair shop. All the auto repair shop did was replace a battery so it wasn't them who did damage to my car. When I got my car back this towing company had broken two brackets on the rear part of my car that were holding up the muffler. Wasn't a huge deal but I called them to try to get them to pay for it and they hung up on me. So with that I drove down to this little shack that they're working out of to talk more about the situation. The lady then refused to pay for it or even acknowledge that it could possibly be their fault. Don't ever use this towing company. They are the worst. The only upside to this whole situation is that the driver was a nice guy. Just use Dick's or something, they're solid. read more

We had the terrible experience of having our car stolen. Police found it and this company was asked to tow it. They towed it about 12 minutes down the road (without flatbed or skates which ruins the center dif on awd). We went immediately to pay so we didn't accrue impound feeds but since it was a Saturday they charged us a $104 after-hours gate fee, even tho we were not able to take our car back that day since no towing companies were operating due to snow. Our total was $459 to get our wreck car back 2 hours after we were notified. Finally we got a different tow company to come pick up our car on Monday and North county was 'out to lunch' and so we were billed an extra hour for our return towing because our driver had to wait for them to come back, even tho I told the office when he would arrive and if they could possibly have lunch in office. People seemed nice but in the end unfortunately added to our bad experience of being overcharged for a crime that was not our fault. read more

My car was stolen in a auto theft ring years ago. When it was found with several other cars the reservation police called North County towing. After getting my car out and another car their machinery got stuck in a sinkhole. It took them many many hours and special equipment to get the rest of the cars out. Days before Christmas I received a $1200 total bill for the frame of my car to be towed out of the woods. When I went down to ask them why the bill was so high they explained to me that they had prorated the bill between all of the cars that they pulled out even though my was already out before their machinery was sunk. I took them to court but because it was on the reservation there were no RCW laws in place and they won the judgment. I believe that these people are crooks and if you ever encounter them be very careful! read more

Had my work truck towed by them from Camano Island to Smokey Point repair shop. When they parked it they backed into a pole then pulled forward and set it down and did not say anything about the damage. The repair shop had cameras but the cameras lapsed so that day was not on film. But the next morning shows them Jacking the truck up where it it was dropped of at and did repairs. I can watch all the times they move it and they didn't even come close to the Pole. So the repair shop did not do it. North County towing will not own up. The driver said he didn't know he did it there's no way too much damage that you would not know you hit it and you can tell that when he parked it he had it then pulled forward and set it down because it's not even parked in a stall it's too far forward and really crooked. Terrible business. I will never use them again. So now I need to do the repairs and sue them in court. read more

If I could give this horrible company a negative review I would! The women who owns the business is rude and lying. My daughters car got towed and the women hung up on us MULTIPLE times, not telling us how to get her car out. The women could not give us a straight answer on how much it would cost to get the car out. She also told us at one point that she didn't have our car in her lot, yet she obviously did. She ranged everywhere from $600+ to $300. And we had to ask multiple times before she would give us a price. We then had to call from a different number because she would not answer, and when she found out it was us told us she wasn't going to talk to us about the car. She told us we had to make and appointment to get it out, and when we asked to make one she told us no. The we waited over and hour outside the impoundment lot for her to show up and give us our car. She was hostile and rude through the whole process. Her attitude and choice of words had my 17 year old daughter in tears. She made a mistake on where she parked, as do COUNTLESS people. And she made her seem belittled. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. They are all rude and unreliable. They treat people like CRAP. read more

They were WONDERFUL!!! The husband and wife owners came and towed our truck to the nearby dealership and their driver towed our boat with us home. They were all very professional and I paid up front with my credit card. They even told me how to get reimbursed from our insurance company if we have towing on our policy. Yes , I yelled some and was basically a b@$#&. That is no excuse in that business I'm sure they've had plenty of worse reactions... *CUSTOMER SERVICE* SKILLS are supposed to include at least trying to be understanding and show a little compassion. They don't do payment plans at North County. ...And don't expect them to work with you in any way shape or form....it won't happen. They towed my box truck and camper earlier this year. I took them to court but I lost due to one Lying d#$%€ c$@!# and my extreme fear of speaking in front of people. I never got them back. I had just bought the box truck had no money to get it out. They towed it to their yard WITH my ex asleep on pain pills IN it!!! (Severe sciatica from a high fall in '04 broken neck plates and screws '06 and multiple head injuries that year) I took them to court but she lied to the judge and the officer sitting next to her had made an error. I looked up the RCW's. Not only did the officer make an error in Towing my vehicle North County screwed up the tow a million ways from Sunday! There were so many "little" screw ups it isn't funny! This is only part of it.They never told me I could contest it. Apparently they are supposed to she told the judge that they "tried to tell me but I wouldn't listen" In fact when I went to pick up the papers to contest ( with barely any time left on the clock TO contest, yes I almost ran out of the time allowed) the lady told me I could NOT contest the tow or fees because I hadn't paid to get it out. ...And asked did I know that I would only be contesting the police if I contested the validity of the tow? And that I would lose and no I could not contest both. I have a friend that is a tow truck driver that told me I could contest it and that they give profession a bad name. He gave me the proper terms so I could find the RCW's I needed for court. I can't afford an attorney. I did lose in court. I am so terrified of getting up in front of people I could barely speak. The courtroom was so crowded that day that I left my purse, cell phone, wallet, keys AND my PROOF sitting next to two people that I did not even know in Everett... (not a good place to be leaving anything out of your sight) and didn't realize it until I had driven halfway homeand, and my hands had stopped shaking,while I went up and sat in front of the judge. At one point before I filed to contest, I called and asked her how I was supposed to come up with the large amount she wanted when I couldn't even come up with the original 600 the next day. ( she had insinuated that I had to pay for both to get them out. I could have gotten the truck just not both.) If i could make payments or if they'd work with me somehow...it's not like I didn't have money coming in and I could do $2-300 a month even. We can't do that even if I were employed there they wouldn't work with me. I told her "I am not going to lie and steal to come up with the money so how the hell am I supposed to come up with it...whore myself?" were my exact words and that I couldn't come up with the original 600. Her response was NOT something a customer service representative should EVER say to a customer. She said "I really don't care how you come up with the money as long as you come up with it."
