Super local bar, great people, service and vibe! The only thing that would make it better is a shuff table.

They are fully committed to the woodsy, outdoor, rustic vibe while still feeling upscale. Our server was excellent and brought refills consistently and without being asked. We ordered fried mushrooms and spinach and artichoke dip for apps. The fried mushrooms and ranch were AMAZING and also pretty massive. The dip was verryyy cheese forward and was a little goopey, not my fav. The flavor was good, but I wanted it to be creamier and more balanced. It was the only thing we got that wasn't a hit, but not enough to change this from 5-stars! I ordered the Prime Rib with veg and a baked potato. IT WAS AMAZING. My family ordered two pizzas to split; bbq chicken and margarita. The pizzas were delicious and had a perfect crust. Overall so amazing and would totally return when in the area or recommend to others looking for something super tasty with great service and fun decor!

I wish the fireplace actually gave off heat in the room because it was a bit chilly. Dress warmly! The Waiter was very kind and thoughtful refilling our drinks and thinking of everything! He even suggested different options not listed on the menu. (The Alfredo pasta also comes cajun style!) I would strongly recommend Timbers in Cadillac, Mi!!!

This was our first visit to the store. It is on the northwest corner of the lower peninsula of…read moreMichigan. It's a very busy store with a lot of Customer traffic. This store is not just a fish processing, smokehouse and serves takeout dinners which I did not try yet. There are plenty of workers and service was quick. There is no place to sit and eat. It is all takeout. We were here on a Friday morning of Labor Day weekend. A very busy time in Michigan's vacation land. There is plenty of parking in a lot adjacent to the store and on the street but watch out for the crazy bike drivers who think they own the road one of the old guys nearly ran me over because he thought he owned the road or maybe he didn't know how to drive a bicycle. Just the word of caution. Will I return? Yes, because it's the only fish, fresh fish, store within 50 or 60 miles of Frankfort. I compare fish processing outlets, to a business just outside Mackinaw city named Big Stone Bay Fishery. We were not in looking for a place to eat just for some fresh fish, and some smoked fish. I think that Big Stone Bay Fishery accommodates the customer better. for instance, they freely provide the customer with ice for the trip back home to the Detroit area.

What a gem! We were traveling up to Traverse City in the midst of a little ice storm and decided…read morestop by here for lunch. Very cute place. Down home decor, friendly, GREAT service, full bar (reasonably priced-had two shots of 1792 bourbon that were VERY well priced), and AMAZING food! Speaking of amazing food, here is what we had... Potato leek soup: it had just been St Patrick's Day, so they were still offering some themed items. The soup was VERY fresh, had a very pleasant aftertaste, and the potatoes were fresh. Rich, but not too rich. Just the right balance. Onion Rings: WOW! Fantastic, and huge! Beer battered mushrooms: Equally as good as the onion rings. What I also loved about these (and the onion rings) is that they tasted just as good the next day either heated up or even ice cold. They were THAT good Turkey Catamaran Club: My wife loved this. Triple decker sandwich with very fresh and tasty smoked turkey, bacon, and mayo. My wife is not big on leftovers, but liked this so much she was sure to finish half on site and the other half the next day. Boat Builders Burger: 1/3 of a lb of ground chuck medium rare (they cooked it perfectly) with some Swiss on top. Probably the best burger I've had in the last few years. All of the above for WELL under $100. Even tipping quite generously (our server deserved it-she was a sweetheart) we still didn't come near $100. Can't wait to come back here next time we travel up north. Fantastic place.
