A quote of $3,000 for a job I previously paid $1,300 for was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. It's unfortunate because I genuinely wanted to support a veteran-owned company. I just can't justify paying more than twice what the same work has cost me before. Being veteran-owned is something I'm happy to support, but it shouldn't be used as a reason for customers to overlook an unreasonable price. Shop around and get multiple quotes before committing. They even helped rebalance a part of a gutter that needed adjustment that wasn't supposed to be serviced. The removal/install/cleanup took about 3 hours. It would definitely take more time if you were having an entire house done. I am hopeful that the new gutters suit my needs. His pricing is incredibly fair, and he's never going to push you to spend money you don't need to spend. Jantzen has spent SO much time talking through various roofing issues with me over the years, and not once have I felt the least bit of pressure from him to make a sale. EXAMPLE: We recently had a contractor's crew working on a small addition to the house, and while they were on the roof, they told us the entire roof needed to be replaced. They texted me some photos they took of the roof while they were up there as "evidence." I sent the photos along to Jantzen, and he set up a call with me and spent the better part of an hour talking through his analysis of the roof based on both their photos and his experience being up on the roof itself in the past. With all that time and effort, you'd think he'd be pushing us to have him replace the roof, but he literally told me that we did NOT need to replace it at this stage.
