I took my car in June 2012, they told me the repair would be $2200. And would be done in about a week. It took almost a month. And this was with having to keep calling - which they dont return calls, and stopping in for the horrible customer service. At one point of this process, I was told it was done. They took my money left the shop, I started my car and the check engine light came on. Cliff actually said to me well, I did the best I could and I could just take my car somewhere else. I told him he could fix my car correctly or give me my money back. He actually told me he did the work and wouldnt give me my money back!! I said I would sue him. Two weeks later my car was done and seemed to be fine. During this almost a month of not having my car, I also had to pay for a rental car out of my own pocket.. Another $500 dollars.. Until Friday 10-26-12. 3.5 months later... It broke down again!!! I took it to a reputable transmission shop and was told and shown that the axle shaft had been broken that they person that installed my transmission (Complete Auto Repair Service) had not tightened the bolts because the ones that were still in there were loose and almost all of them were missing. Also, the heater bypass hose was sealed off with a nut because he didnt have the right part and also a hose was installed incorrectly off the side of the transmission and I was shown were is was leaking. It is now costing my an additional $750 dollars in order to get my car working properly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I am appalled that All Around Tire would allow a business to perform shabby workmanship out of their shop. They may not have anything to do with one another but it is his name that made me think I could trust someone working out of his establishment.

He never gave me a written estimate of the cost of repairs to fix the issue, but proceeded to take most of the engine apart and car parts (filters, wipers, license plate light etc.) and sent me photos of the parts on the shop floor. Without authorization or an estimate he proceeded with replacement of parts that he decided to replace amounting to $1000. According to B.A.R., repair shops are required to give you a written estimate to sign before beginning any repairs . Now, two days later, the Maintenance Required light is on after $1000 payment for work that was not authorized.
