There's lots of the thick chenille-like Baby Blanket Yarn and yarn cakes , but not much to make some pretty baby jackets or Christening sets. I want some nice Bernat yarn or some of the Lion Brand varieties that were carried by JoAnn's and AC Moore. For my needs, Michaels is just not the place to go for a variety of brands of yarn. Also, they need to do a better job of conveying that ALL clearance items are not returnable. I didn't see anything posted, and the receipt doesn't say non-returnable. The sales associate did not know where the policy was posted. Even the "manager" had to look it up, which involved crouching down in front of the counter and reading the entire return policy before she could find that it addressed clearance items. The last line of the policy stated that clearance items were not returnable. The print was about 1/8 inch high. It's unrealistic to think that anyone would be able to read the policy as it is currently posted. The "manager" absurdly stated that I could look at the bottom of the receipt or on their website. Hmm, doesn't that happen after purchase? The signs over the merchandise say "Clearance - lowest prices of the season" but they do not state that the merchandise is not returnable. Maybe they will do a better job of posting the policy so that customers know they can't return clearance items. Surprisingly, the "manager" was willing to let a 40-year customer walk away from all future purchases for less than $20. I did call customer service and they issued me a gift card, but it still doesn't resolve the issue for the next customer. This is the first negative review I have EVER posted. It's never right to turn your back and walk away from a customer.

Mom and I love Dollar Tree in general but this Dollar Tree and the Manager running the store today…read more7/24/2026 @ 12:30pm must have been my worst experience in retail ever. I am a restaurant manager for 20 plus years. Manager waited too long until lines were backed up to call for backup. Only 1 line was open, another line was open but the gentleman was helping a customer with balloons. Only thing I would have suggested differently would be that he turn is light off when helping a customer. But in all actuality, the MOD should have stepped up, helped the customer with the balloons so the gentleman could have stayed on register. Maybe if the manager didn't have ear buds in her ears and talking to someone on the phone while stocking the refrigerator items in the coolers she would've noticed the need. That need being all the customers upfront. When help finally came there were not 1 but 3 lines open and all were busying ringing. If I were the GM or DM I would go back and review the cameras. Mom and I waited over 7 mins and everyone else that came in after left before us. However we did donated to military families today. Import to be kind to one another, service with a smile because you never know who is using their 5 senses at all times. I hope this is a teachable moment for this store and most of all the MOD today. We will not be back but I hope the store improves for the people of East Norriton and surrounding communities. You all deserve a lot better service that you got today.

The store is packed with furniture, dry foods, kitchen and bathroom accessories, towels, linens, and wall art. I've purchased kitchen towels, bedroom sheets at reasonable costs. Believe it or not, my favorite purchases are coffee. Yes, coffee. The employees were busily taking inventory and replacing holiday products with traditional fare. Although they were consumed with their tasks, they cheerily provided room for me to peruse the coffee assortments. I chose a German ground coffee called Dallmayr Prodomo. I never heard of this brand but for $9.99 at 17.6 oz (500 mg), I was willing to try it. Several web users rate this brand 5 of 5 stars. I also chose ground Pumpkin Latte by the Grande Kaffe Collection of stateside Millville NJ. I've enjoyed this brew several times and at $5.00 for 16 oz, it's hard to ignore. Lastly, I purchased a 4 pack of kitchen towels for $5.99. Now that I bought some new stuff, fortunately I have a house for my new stuff. As the comedy legend George Carlin stated, and I'm paraphrasing, "you need a place for your stuff and that's why houses were created".
