All the staff are very kind and professional. They do not over book. There is never a long wait time.

I have been going to River Delta Dental for 6 years now. I was referred to them by my long time friend, who I called to ask if she knew of any after hour dentists that could help me, immediately. I had severe pain in one of my lower molars that had brought me to tears. Being 7 months pregnant, I could not take anything strong enough for the pain. I called Dr. Spalding late on a Saturday night. He answered and got me in first thing the next morning. He gave me the most glorious shot of Novocaine I've ever experienced. LOL Him and his staff were so compassionate and caring. He had extracted my tooth and provided immediate relief within 20 minutes. I will forever be grateful. Since that day my family of 4 have patients there. The staff are all so accommodating, kind and understanding. All of us really like Dr. Thomas, as well. My 6 year old daughter will be having her first "real" exam next month and she is so excited. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday by Summer and it really felt like visiting with a friend. This man deserves an award! This dentist goes above and beyond in his field. He doesn't do dentistry for the money, or recognition; he does it because he cares about us. He does work based on our health, happiness and what matters to you. I've been In between paychecks. Not a problem. I've had broken teeth. He saves them. I've sobbed about the times I thought I couldn't smile again, but he has restored my smile. Dr. Spalding loves people. He will always ensure our health and happiness. This place is my happy place. I had a chip in my tooth that needed repairing. I decided to have my teeth cleaned at the same time. While in the next room I endured insult after insult that lasted the whole cleaning session. To make up for it, I was offered the cleaning for free, but was billed later repeatedly. If I could go back in time I know what I would do. I was recently visiting my mother and took her to her dental appointment with Dr. Spaulding to have a cracked crown replaced. I have never seen such professionalism, dedication and genuinely warm customer care -- and at a dental practice in a tiny California farm town. Immediately when we entered you could feel the atmosphere was different. There was laughter and smiles everywhere. The woman at the counter (I later learned was Mrs. Spaulding) stood to greet us. She brought us hot tea. We were treated like family. The busy doctor came out to talk about the procedure. My mother was calm and relaxed. I later talked with the doctor...this small town dentist was progressive and up-to-date on current practices and equipment. Simply an amazing discovery. I love the entire staff at Dr. Spalding's dental office, super friendly. The dental assessment and work is superior. My Dental Tech Cindy is thorough and helpful in hygiene advice and techniques to improve and protect my dental health. It is the 1st dental office in my lifetime, which is long, that does not pressure you into cosmetic work and genuinely cares about your overall health and well being. I absolutely love this place. Let me start out with the atmosphere is so relaxing, the office is located in a beautiful old home with lush gardens all around the building. Beautiful stain glass on the front window. Each exam room has a window with a hummingbird feeder and wild bird seed feeder. How calming it is to watch the birds. Dr. Spalding is a great dentist. He obviously cares about his patients and isn't in the dental business for the money. I went to him for a second opinion and he is saving me $1900. The staff are all very friendly. Dr Spalding is an excellent dentist. As soon as you walk into his office you feel very comfortable and at ease. His staff is wonderful, they take you on a tour of the whole office. In each room there is a window and outside the window there is a bird feeder and it is a relaxing feeling to watch the birds feed. Dr Spalding explains all the procedures that will be done and doesn't leave you in the dark. I would highly recommend Dr Spalding as your personal or family dentist. read more
