Heard about Dr. Toy from a 'friend'. I have been scouting out
different dentists. I am glad that I found Dr. Toy's office. He
now has a 'partner' with him, Dr. Reed. Dr. Reed is a young
dentist who recently graduated from UOP School of Dentistry
and joined Dr. Toy's practice. I am sure that I will have interaction
with Dr. Reed in the future also.
I had a mini crisis that I wanted to have checked out by a dentist.
I stopped by their office last Friday afternoon. Even though they
close at noon on Friday, Dr. Reed was still at the office and the door
was unlocked. I spoke to Dr. Reed at length about my problem.
He was very pleasant and patient explaining how his office works
and what I should do next. He suggested that I call Stephanie of
his office staff on Monday. I was out and about this afternoon so
I stopped in and talked to Stephanie. She told me that if I fill out
the paperwork, they would be able to see me immediately!! That
was a pleasant surprise. I was seen by Dr. Toy. A very calm and
knowledgeable Doctor. They first took an xray of the area of concern
and within a few minutes Dr. Toy was probing around in my mouth
with 'those tools'. After several minutes of doing that, he asked his
staff to bring in some charts so he could explain to me what was going
on and what my options were. I was very impressed with his demeanor
and knowledge and with the time he spent with me going over the details.
Now that I have all the 'facts', I am in a position to make an intelligent
decision. On my way out I stopped by the reception desk to pay.
Stephanie said the only charge would be for the one xray!! Wow..
what a shock.. I was anticipating being charged for the time the Doctor
spent with me. I thank Stephanie, Dr. Toy and his staff for the consideration they showed me today...
