My brother had an amazing experience here, he was very nervous going in, but the doctor (Dr.khan) made him feel comfortable and also the dental assistant (claudia) walked him through the whole process. I would highly recommend coming here to get your dental work and asking for Dr. khan & Claudia these two are a perfect duo. RUN!!! The treatments they gave my granddaughter were done correctly and efficiently. So why run? Because these people only care about that almighty dollar and are willing to completely screw you over in the process. My granddaughter is halfway through her treatment plan, they called two days prior to her appointment for the next treatment to tell us that had decided "that day" , which I do not believe, to no longer take her insurance and they would not finish her treatments. So we have to find a new dentist and start all over again. Unprofessional at minimum and it has to be illegal for a doctor to cut and run halfway through treatments. read more

I went in because I have a tooth that is falling apart and has an abscess. I have multiple chronic illnesses and instead of looking at my paperwork prior to my appointment, they called me after my appointment and denied me services. No refill of antibiotics. Just complete denial of services. The reason? My disabilities. I DID NOT EVEN GET A FULL REFUND OF THE HUNDREDS I WAS CHARGED. If I get sepsis and die, I guess it's no big deal to these people. read more

I came here because my regular dentist was out of office. The dentist bed side manner here can use some help. I got 2 fillings, I was having problems with 1 filling I called and I was seen the following week but the dentist never once checked the tooth I was having issues with he just glanced at the xray and proceeded to tell me how sugar isn't good for our teeth and how I should try substitute sugars as well as a different toothpaste. I 100% was not being heard and instead dismissed. Due to the pain I was experiencing I was able to be seen by my original dentist and there in fact was a problem with the filling it had gotten unstuck and if the dentist would had just looked at my teeth instead of blaming sugar they would have been able to see that the filling wasn't secure and it was in fact not normal for it to hurt when I flossed or bit down. Now I will have to pay out of pocket to fix this mistake when I allowed them an opportunity to fix it. read more

I was pleased with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff, hygienists, and doctors. The staff was friendly and didn't make me feel unease that I brought my two little boys to my appointment. I was seen by Dr. Lang initially and he explained everything in a way that didn't make me feel bad about how I was taking care of my teeth. I had SEVERE anxiety following a bad experience with two other dentists...then I went in to see Dr. Pritsky and he totally won me over. Not only did he undo and repair the damage from the other dentists but he did it almost painlessly. I'm not joking or exaggerating!! Seriously it was unreal. I have never had such a good experience with any other dental office. So far I've had wisdom teeth extracted, he repaired a botched root canal, did bone grafting for a molar, a dental implant for that molar...PLUS Dr. Otal from the office did a beautiful job on my veneers. (Even their hygienist was amazing at cleaning my teeth!!) The people in the front office are even awesome!! It's been a great experience every time. Dr. Pritsky is able to numb you like no one else. I was expecting to be numb for hours and miserable...EVERY time he has worked on me it's been perfect. It has been difficult for dentists in the past to get it right and he had NO PROBLEM whatsoever. Considering that I've been in for multiple procedures...I know it wasn't a fluke. He's on target and incredible every single time. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone. If you have anxiety...a difficult case or have had bad experiences with other dentists...go see Brookside Dental. Don't keep putting off seeing someone because you're scared like I was. Definitely not the best experience I've had at the dentist, Very nice dentist, very nice redemption staff. The dentist assistant person came in and didn't say anything to me while taking X-rays, a little off putting. The dentist made me feel very bad about my teeth, which I don't think are very bad, I don't floss but I have very nice white teeth I do not whiten them I take very good care of them. And I was told I needed all kinds of crowns and my teeth are decaying and all this crazy stuff. I was there for check up and cleaning. The dr. never explained anything to me in details or even in general it was all very very brief and of putting. I was sent to the front without being told I wasn't getting my cleaning, when I asked the front desk why I didn't get my cleaning they said they didn't know and went back to ask in which the dr. replied the hygienist needs a whole hour to do it, the had an almost 2 full hours before closing. It was very activating I wanted my teeth cleaned and I didn't get that. It was a waste of my very limited time to give for nothing. Very very annoying. read more

My husband and I were referred by a coworker who has been going to the practice for a very long time. I believe she sees the owner. She urged us to get who she sees. We didn't get her dentist but the dentist we saw was very attentive and friendly. I did let her know how terrified I am of dentists due to a bad apple as a child. Your first appointment is a consult and X-rays. I wanted a cleaning as I normally do them 3 times a year but had been without a dentist since moving from my home state in 2018. The lady getting the x rays could tell their x ray mouth piece was far to large for my mouth. I repeatedly said I can't open my mouth any wider, it's painful, that's not going to work, etc. She even went to someone behind the wall and told them it wasn't working because my mouth was small like a child's. They told her to continue. She finally said I can't do all of them and the dentist came in and said, what you have is good. That's when I found out I wasn't going to get cleaned. Would I have known, I would have never went through the x rays. I "scheduled", I use the term lightly, because they didn't listen to what I said. I will walk out and leave, not come back if I get a bad feeling with a dental office. I had already been tortured with the x rays. My trust was minimal afterwards. Solutions, get smaller equipment, go get a kids mouth piece that wouldn't hurt me or refer me. I didn't have this problem in OK with any of my previous dentists. I had bruising come up on my jaw line, one then a second, then both sides. My husband ask me what in the world then we both realized, the x ray mouth piece. My jaw was dislocated for 2 days until I did a trigger point release and put it back in. It's incredibly painful to do. My dentist back home would do it if needed and always check before I left. Then my husband forgot his FSA card so he paid with our regular bank debit. I figured no big deal, credit that card back and pay with the FSA. It was a big deal, my husband was so frustrated after talking Lisa at the front desk that he gave up. I called, talked to the Lisa, was told a lady in billing would call me the next day. They have a new system, blah blah. The next day, that billing person called out sick according to the front desk person when I called. I cancelled my cleaning at that point until this could be resolved. It was resolved the following week and charges reversed and the FSA charged. I did not make another appointment for my cleaning. In part to the experience described above on my visit. Not cleaning me at that visit when they knew I'm a runner if I'm not comfortable. Bruising me and just continuing to force the x ray mouth piece in place. They generally use the cavitron which I don't tolerate and need what I guess is old school cleaning?. These aren't questions you can get answered up front on the phone. If I had known, I would have never went but now my insurance has paid for x rays, half done at best, and going to another dentist, will want their own x rays. Guess I will continue without dental care in the Golden State. read more

Worse dentist ever! Dont see the dentist that's cross eyed with out his glasses. Only reason I went there is because my orthodontics referred me worst mistake of my life. Every tooth he attempt to change sliver to white crown ( 3 )ended up with two root canals and lost the other tooth! Bad Dentistry.....I go there regularly for my routine check-up and cleaning. 2 years ago, they recommended me for gum graft surgery. I had no problem with my tooth, no toothache or sensitivity to hot or cold, but I went along. My mouth has not been the same since. Apparently, the nerve was damaged, Dr Pretzky kept referring me to my Kaiser doctor, who told me there was nothing he could do. The nerve was damaged. In May, 2016, they recommended me for the crown as a preventative maintenance. Again, I had no toothache or sensitivity to hot or cold, but I went along. After the crown, that tooth has been sensitive to cold water ever since. At first, I was told that it would take time for the tooth to adjust to the crown. In Oct 2016, my crown was still sensitive to cold. On Oct 21, 2016, they wanted me to have root canal done. When I complained that my tooth was fine before the crown, they told me they would call me on Monday. Nope. No one called. I called them a week later, I was told they would call me back in 3 min. No one calls me since. read more
