The front desk, assistants, hygienists, and doctors are personable and professional. They really watch out for your best interests. When new products come out on the market, they test them first. They want to ensure that they are providing you with the best and most up-to-date products and services. My husband and I see Dr. Gardner; he knows us on an individual basis (as does the entire office)! He asks questions, ensures your comfort level, and educates you as to what he plans to do. He also provides emergency numbers in case you need to get a hold of him for any reason. I personally recommend this office to new co-workers and neighbors and now I have the opportunity to recommend this office to everyone in the Chicagoland area. Brookfield is an easy village to access; it's between 290 and 55, in a friendly community. There is ample parking on the street. Going here is definitely worth the drive.

The sight of blood led my dreams to go another route; however, I definitely value excellent dental care! Dr. Gardner and Advancements in Dental Care set the bar extremely high. Besides the standard free toothbrush at every cleaning, the office is decked out with cable TV (and I get to control the remote!) and cool little spigots that dispense mouthwash. I love that my x-rays instantly show up on their laptops and they can print them at my request. High-tech luxuries aside, Dr. Gardner and his staff are kind, patient, and gentle. Although they are not part of any insurance network, they are good at submitting claims and getting payment. Speaking of payment, that IS the one annoying thing. Because I am blessed to have Delta Dental, I get the pleasure of making all of my payments upfront, from my own pocket, and then getting reimbursed a few weeks later by my insurance. I hate that. Although Advancements in Dental is proactive about letting me know about invisalign and teeth whitening, I never feel as if they are doing unnecessary revenue producing procedures. That's important. They do what's necessary to take care of my teeth and anything extra is up to me.

You gotta walk!" So I'm already getting annoyed. I told the staff member next time to just tell us no because I'd rather her not be expecting that I go with. (Now that I look back on it I had every right to be back there!) The receptionist seemed like she was anticipating I would of been able to to back and wasn't sure what happened. I also explained that I didn't appreciate her demeanor towards my daughter. She said she would bring it up to Dr. Moss. Time passes & my daughter said she had 2 parts of the cavity filling she hated. 1. The tool they used to open her mouth. Totally understandable it's uncomfortable. 2. Something she really hated but didn't want to tell me. I finally get it out of her, she said Dr. Moss PUT HER HAND OVER HER MOUTH while she was loudly crying and told her to stop screaming it's rude! You do not get to essentially rip my child away from me & reprimand her by putting your hand on her for crying when I had requested to go with in the first place. If a child is not cooperating you refer to the parent! It broke my heart when I told her I'm sorry that happened to her & she said "now I know not to scream" wtf are you trying to teach my kid. I said no baby you can cry if something is bothering you. Do we cover babies mouths when they cry & it hurts our ears? No Do we cover our teachers mouths when we don't like what they're telling us? No Do we stay silent when someone is abusing us? Absolutely not! When we go to her pediatrician she cries loudly at the finger prick. They don't cover her mouth! I'm so livid! Not to mention she has Zelle for a payment option, which is a bit weird & they apparently now charge for cavity filling the day you schedule the appointment, not after the filling is completed!
