I started working with Dr. Sutter in December of last year. First he extracted my tooth, then I…read moreneeded to go back in April for an implant. Unfortunately my body rejected the implant, and the implanted tooth needed to be removed (It's extremely rare, but it does happen). We figured this out after two weeks of excruciating pain. During the 2 weeks, I was in constant contact with the office and Dr. Sutter. Never once did I feel like I was imposing or bothering them. I needed to wait four more months to try again. This week I went back to have the implant done again. Dr. Sutter tried a new type of metal on the tooth, and it looks like it worked. I am writing this to show what kind of dentist Dr. Sutter is. The implant reject it was no fault of the doctor . Occasionally people have allergies and you don't know it until you try. He is the ultimate professional. A wonderful bedside manner, considerate, gentle, as well as, in my opinion a great surgeon. Most people hate dentists, but if you are going to have surgery, he is the person to go to.

His friendliness and attentiveness put me at ease, which for me is almost impossible at the dentist. I had explained my problem about my tooth falling out as an implant when it turned out to be a post in which case I should have seen my regular dentist. Dr Sutter took X-rays and cemented the tooth back in to hold temporarily. He only charged me for the consult and gave me a copy of the X-ray to take with me. I had terrible tooth pain and my previous dentist would not take me. I called Dr. Kshonz in a true emergency and he was able to get me in within 30 minutes on a Sunday. I have never seen such quick help from a doctor! I have continued going to his practice for years since then. He and his entire staff are so caring and Dr Kshonz has an incredible bedside manner. Went to his office on August 10, 2025 and was told that I had an infection in my rear molar. He…read moreremoved the tooth on August 17.Despite the fact that every article and dentist that I have spoken to advises that a tooth extraction should hurt for no more than one week I saw him four or five more times and each time he told me my Mouth was healing, despite my complaining of continual pain. Finally after a month of visits I finally lost my temper in his office, he sent me to a friend of his in Massapequa. This was only after I insisted that the pain was continuing and that my two knee replacements healed quicker than his tooth extraction. His friend in Massapequa did a perfunctory exam and sent me home telling me there was nothing wrong. Thankfully, I found an oral surgeon in Hewlett, Joshua Wolf who immediately did a test and indicated that I needed to be hospitalized and treated as my jawbone was so fragile that it was in danger of fracturing. I had the surgery at Mount Sinai in Oceanside and a biopsy was done, which indicated that not only did I have an infection, but had cancer in my jawbone. It is still to be determined how much the cancer spread while Dr. Kshonz was insisting that it was healing. At some point I should've been told That the tooth was not healing properly and that I should seek the advice of an oral surgeon. I have been advised that a cosmetic dentist probably should've referred the initial extraction to an oral surgeon. His refusal to acknowledge after weeks of treatment that my pain was not normal, and the fact that it required me to finally throw a temper tantrum in his office Is inexcusable. My family and I used him in the past but his casual approach to what turned out to be a grave matter cannot be forgiven. I never post negative reviews, but my life was actually in danger due to his lack of action. A sore that doesn't heal is an indication of something more than simple pain from an extraction.

I went in to have the female short haired blond dentist check a crown that has been feeling sensitive when I bite down on it. I was seated in a room quickly but then had to wait forever until she finally came in the room. I told her what I was there for she and said I needed new X-rays, so they did that and I was sitting there waiting again. Finally she came back and just started filing down my crown to adjust it. I literally pushed their hands away because I was in pain and had tears rolling down my face. She then asked if I wanted her to numb it, which I thought would've been obvious from the beginning, I said yes so she gave me that and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to take effect. 10 minutes passed and I had to ask how much longer she would be. I was told she was coming. She didn't come for another 10 minutes. When she finally walked by and heard me asking again when she was coming. She stood at the door and said "what's the problem?" That set me off and I complained about her having me wait so long and just walking back and forth and I asked her why she didn't numb me in the first place knowing my tooth was hurting and she said that it wasn't obvious to her that she would have to. The dental assistant also chimed in to say that she wasn't just walking around. After they finished and I left I made sure to tell the front desk to make a note that I didn't want either one of them working on me again.
