I've been to Nordstrom's a number of times. I've ordered two car doors when I scraped them taking a turn too tight. I was even able to get the same color! Always friendly service. I've used the Ewe Pullet yard a number of times. I've been able to keep my old F-150 going for 222,000 miles because of it. Thanks, Nordstrom's. Terrible customer service. I spent 20 + minutes on hold before ever speaking to anybody, only to find out the part I needed wasn't something that they inventoried. I asked where I might find the part the employee said I don't know we might have it on our "you pull it yard". which according to the employee has no phone number. solid operation all around I'd say. read more

I took my 15 year old son, who is a huge auto enthusiast to Nordstrom's to walk around and look at old cars. We paid our entrance fee and off we went. We walked and talked for almost 2 hours while looking at cars. Half way through the lot we came to a large gate that said Do Not Enter on either side. The gate was wide open, pushing the signs aside. I took this to mean the Do Not Enter was valid when the gate was closed but when it's open they are pushed to the side, negating the message. As a middle aged woman I admit that I may be ignorant to the happenings of a salvage yard, I've never been to one before. We walked up and down isles running into many employees on our journey, no one said a thing. We didn't mess with anything or disrupt any vehicles. At the very end of our day we walked toward the gate to leave and an employee approached my son and advised we couldn't be in that area. We quickly left the area. We were met again at the main building by a few angry men. The older man started belittling my 15 year old son and eventually me as well when I tried to take the focus off of my child. We were called stupid, ignorant and a few other unkind names. I made an error by misinterpreting a sign and for that my son was called names and bullied by aggressive and very angry old man. We apologized but the name calling kept going. It was a bit traumatizing to say the least. I've never really been in a situation like this, the simple "you can't be in this area" prompted us to leave immediately. Last year " Covid " while being quarantined at our homes due to the pandemic I decided to clean up and redo my 2004 f150 Trucks entire interior flooring with a OEM carpet kit from Ford. No Nordstrom's Automotive didn't send me the carpet kit but I did order a difficult to find drivers side seatbelt. No one and I mean NO One in California could find this particular part. The only reason I gave them one star is because I could not give them a zero or even a negative 5 star review. Extremely condescending, rude, arrogant, and poor customer service. He accused us over the phone of trying to repossess a car that is someone else's when we have the title, registration, and multiple forms of proof of ID, including a valid driver's license. I will never do business with them again in any capacity. He treated us like common criminals and I am hugely offended. Having someone like this answer the phones is simply unacceptable. Update and response to the owner's response: I was not provoked what-so-ever by him not wanting to buy the car, but, rather, it had everything to do with how condescendingly he spoke to me. If someone does not even know how to relate to others, they ought not to be in a position in which they deal with the public. There is a big difference between being genuine and making your language a certain soft intonation. I know good customer service when I hear and see it and this isn't it no matter how it is cut. I find your response dishonest due the fact that there was never anything mentioned about "end-of-life" anything. This is not an "end-of-life" situation nor was anything ever spoken about with regards to that. Too, he was told that the vehicle is on a public street, not on someone else's private property. If you really had listened to the call, then you would know that. I find your response dishonest and just a way to make yourself look good vs making a genuine apology. read more

Nordstrom's is the most crooked auto parts dealer I've ever run across, and I've run across some dillies. I bought two new Dorman axles *with bearings and seals* for my car from them on eBay, total price $169.90. They sent one axle with bearings, and one axle shaft with no bearings. The mechanics discovered it after they had the car apart, and bought the only bearing option available in town, a $42.89 bearing from NAPA. I found out about it more than a week later, and tried to contact Nordstrom's through eBay to tell them the bearing was missing and ask them to refund the cost of buying one, but got an error message that "this seller cannot help you with this purchase." Next I tried eBay Buyer Protection, but they said it was too late, although it was less than a month since the purchase. Then I filed a claim with Paypal. The next day Paypal emailed that Nordstrom's had responded to the claim, but their message was not visible in my Paypal account because Paypal had processed a credit card. I called Paypal to find out what they said, and they said I would certainly be reimbursed for the missing part. After a few days with no refund, the mechanic who put the axle in called Nordstrom's and told them the bearing was missing and what had happened. Only then did they email me, and said I should have gotten the bearing for $10, so they would not refund anything. I sent them a note from the mechanic saying this was the only option in town and the car was apart, so they had to buy that bearing. (It was a reasonable price anyway; there are many, many wheel bearings on eBay Motors for $40-$50.) I heard nothing further from Nordstrom's, but I emailed them a scan of the NAPA receipt and a signed statement from the mechanic that he had bought the only bearing available in town and there was not a cheaper one. I had also emailed them a screenshot of the error message I got on eBay when I'd tried to contact them about the sale. (I guess that they blocked me because they had cheated me and expected a complaint.) After I sent them the receipt and statement, I heard nothing from them ever again - and of course, no refund. If the "brand new" axle from the manufacturer had included the bearings that were listed and that I'd paid for, there would have been no need to buy another. Paypal claimed I had done nothing about the claim when in fact I was knocking myself out getting receipts and statements, scanning them, etc., and closed my case. Paypal representatives said on both March 5 and March 6 that they would re-open the claim, and one of them sent me an email address to send Paypal copies of everything I had sent to Nordstrom's. I stayed up past midnight March 6, sending them everything. The next day I heard from Paypal that they wouldn't help me because they had closed my case on March 4 because I had done nothing about it! Nordstrom's simply refused to communicate, through eBay or directly, and they stole my $42.89 - plus sales tax. I certainly doubt the manufacturer left the bearings out of my package. Most likely Nordstrom's took them out and sold them to someone else. They are cheats and thieves, and I would caution anyone against dealing with them at all. They "go the second mile" only to cheat you! Next stop: Consumer Protection Agency and the Better Business Bureau. read more

I ordered and paid for a Rav 4 trailing arm and axle on 1/13/16, they had not yet shipped it by 1/25/16 so I called and canceled the order. But they still charged me $350, and have not as yet reversed the charges on my credit card. Nordstrom has acted in bad faith and negligence. Bought a window motor and regulator for my car off eBay. Theirs was the cheapest option out there for a brand new part. Shipped within a few days, install went smoothly for me, and it's been fully operational (as you would expect a new part to be). We'll see how longevity goes, as it's not OEM Toyota but I'm sure it will be fine. In the super cold winter it's powered the window up and down with ease. read more
