I've been a Nordies Girl as long as I can remember. This is my local store and has always been a comfortable place to shop. In several departments, I have sales people I know and will seek out when I am looking for something. As a rule, the sale people are generally ready to assist and do what it takes to ensure you are happy. If it's available, they will find it! The store is clean and bright but on my last visit I did notice some empty spaces. I was already unhappy when the Petite department was eliminated but there seems to be less merchandise to see in the store (at least in POV). I'm afraid they may be directing traffic online like so many other brick and mortars. If this is the new strategy, I'm not a fan. I will continue to shop as I have always been happy with the quality. From the shoe department, fully stocked with stunning footware and eye candy suit clad assistance available, to my clothes and my sales racks and my immaculate dressing rooms... I love you. You are so good to me, you deserve this 100th review! I visit you in any state, in any part of the country and you will gladly ship it to my home, awaiting for my arrival in full glory. If I need something in a different size or color you will locate one store in Hawaii that has it and ship it to me, to my hotel room the day before my meeting. You are so good to me, that if I wore a $300 pair of shoes once and it got yucky, you let me send it back to you and you replace it for me. Again 5 stars for Nordstrom Cafe! I have told you before (previous review) how much I like the Nordstrom Café. Here I am writing about it again... I had never tried their food - have always been here for coffee. I had always heard good things about their salads and sandwiches so yesterday, while shopping @ my lunch break I made a quick stop here to grab something to eat. Of course I got coffee, I love their Honey Almond Latte, but I also got a Chicken, Basil & Swiss Sandwich. It was so good! Chicken was not dry. Basil, spinach & tomato tasted really fresh. In general, I love Nordstrom. This review is only for this location. We've been here a number of times and I always feel let down. They seem to have less selection than other locations. Even the shoe dept. here isn't that great. However, my biggest complaint about this store is their customer service. Nordstrom is supposed to be known for their exemplary customer service. I guess they forgot to cover that in this location. We walked around the shoe dept. for a while and not one person spoke to us. We went up to lingerie and couldn't find the size for which we were looking. Even with us opening up the drawers of extra stock, not one of the sales associates asked if they could help. So, we left. Just like most locations, they have a good selection of high end brands and some middle end (Top Shop, Steve Madden, their own young women's clothing brand, etc.). Returned some earrings that were a gift. The lady said she would put it back on a Nordstrom card - but it was a gift so I said it was a gift but she had already pressed button to put it back on the person who gave me the gifts Nordstrom card. Awkward. So I quickly said it's a gift but she pressed button too soon. She said you should have said it from beginning. I said I didn't know (maybe she shouldn't have assumed so quickly). So she called for assistance and they quickly fixed it. However she still had to tell me again to next time say it was a gift from the beginning. Whatever it was your fault not mine. I rolled my eyes and went on my way. It's ridiculously expensive here and I normally never shop here. I used to when it was cheaper. Now it's too top notch for me. I came in on 1/10/18 with the intentions of trying on a few dresses I found online for an upcoming wedding. Mia, one of the sales assistant, had seen me struggling and offered to help. Unfortunately the store itself was out of the specific dresses I was looking for however she offered to help me look for other options because I appeared (and definitely was) so stressed out. I am so incredibly impressed with her level of professionalism and customer service. She was able to assist me with finding many beautiful dresses and was able to give me incredible advice from her own experiences personally and professionally. I was, and still am, flooded with so many positive emotions just from how supportive and honest she was when I was trying on the clothes. She was also able to guide me in buying a few extra things I had not considered purchasing prior to coming to the store! Thank you for helping make this recent Nordstrom shopping experience so incredible and pleasant. I am excited to return to this specific location more in the future! No monies ruturbed except the monies returned on same card from BLOOMINGDALES..Called store today.. The guy repeated his answe ten times."Im so sorry, but funds can take 3-5 days to return to your account.".."Must be your bank". I tell him funds from "Bloomingdale's back in my acct". They carry the complete range of colors and sizes of Peter Millar men's sportswear , my personal favorite . So many great shoe lines , dress and casual , you will probably purchase an extra pair . The restaurant is a must stop for lunch , make sure to order some fries , terrific food and great service . Whether you are shopping for a golf shirt , new flip flops , or Kiehl's men's shave cream like I did today , the Nordstrom Team Associates are plenty , knowledgeable , pleasant , and can't be more helpful in assisting the customer with their purchases . Ooh la la! One store that I can say I absolute love but it damages my wallet is Nordstrom. I have become a fan and it is dangerous. I love their jewelry and shoe section the most. Everyone is always very helpful and their attention is given to you 100%. The store is very organized and you will most likely find everything you need. If they don't have it they will have it shipped to you directly and not charge you shipping. They have the whole store divided. Purses, jewelry, makeup, shoes, men and kids section are all downstairs. however, the women have the entire 2nd floor!! hahahah (evil laugh). They even have a cafe in the store. During the holiday's it is my favorite. They decorate the store and during X-mas they arrange to have someone play the piano. (live music while shopping) It is awesome! B.P. section has cute, trendy, and CHEAPER than average stuff that I always recommend to my girlfriends. So I sent into Nordstrom for a pair of high heeled black or silver shoes. The person waiting on me told me they had none- twice. I find that incredulous. I will say I agree with most people that clearly the inventory here is lacking. I went in an hour before close two days before Christmas and had to ask to be helped. Normally Nordstrom's service is on point and thus, I don't mind paying more. Clearly this night they missed the mark and I will not go back to this location. I will say I went to the cafe after and had a wonderful cafe mocha but the no shoes thing scarred any review past the one star. read more

Terrible customer service. Went to return a gift item and buy additional gifts with my 7 year old daughter. Three times the checkout woman walked away in the middle of ringing up our order to help other customers. First two times I said no problem, the third time I asked why are you doing this, she replied I am sorry I have to help other customers and you are returning an item so you have to wait. Another cashier overheard and came over, profusely apologized and rang up our order in 30 seconds. I typically spend 20-30K a year in this chain of stores. I usually love this store, but..... I had such a fiasco with the mens shoe dept trying to send 1 pair of shoes to my son in Los Angeles. PS They never got there... anyway the nicest guy answered the phone after my 3rd call inquiring about the shoes. His name is Kahlil and he works in the womens shoe salon. He arranged for the shoes to be picked up in a Nordstrom in LA which solved the problem. I will ask for him only if and when I go to Nordstrom again. read more

The shoe shine service at Nordstrom is the best value in town. Only $2.50 a pair and your shoes come out like new. They also work on purses, belts, and all kinds of leather products. Nothing anymore. It's really sad that after a year or more I had to experience lately the worst service ever. And not from my stylish who is amazing but from your company and your customer service. I have some items I have to return, I got out of work early missing 6 hours of work in order to return these garments. I drove to Nordstrom rack thinking that is part of you as their name is Nordstrom and sadly they didn't want to help me or make any attempt to help me. I was so frustrated that I called your customer service which it was worst than the one in Nordstrom rack, the woman who assist me told me that today Sunday the stores in boca ratón and avemtura were open until 8pm. Never the less is important to say that both of them are one hour far by driving from my house and that I need to pay tolls on top of it. I ask her again because I was in disbelief if both of them were open until 8pm and her answer was yes. Stupid enough from my part, I believe this waste of human being to find out they had closed at 6pm. I wasted two hours driving, gas, time at Nordstrom rack, the hours I took off from work and my patience. Sadly previously to this incident I went to Nordstrom at Boca Raton to have two items alter, one was a simple hem which they charge me even when i have my nostril card and credit on alterations and the second garment that started to rip off as it seems to lack quality in their materials and was charged as well, on top of that the lady who was at the front registered rudely told me that she was busy and that I need it to find someone else. See, the thing is that I'm not having any service for free and I am not requesting either, I paid a lot of money in the brands you are selling, however, it seems that this is not important and that you have the right to give customers a crappy service, mixed with lies and rudeness When I call back once I got to the store your call center was conveniently closed and had to leave a message. This experience had left me with such a bad taste that I will never, ever again going to recommend you. On the contraire, I will make sure that my followers in fb, tweeter and outlets like yelp and anything possible will know if this for them to think Twice in making business with you. It seems that you guys don't understand that are other companies like Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, stick, etc that offers this same system and that would appreciate that you are letting your customers down and eager to go with them. Sadly, because I used to love Nordstrom. I hope you guys can change these badly behaviors and remove those who are giving you a bad, nasty reputation. Such amazing service. Every time I come here and wander around the fragrances to smell perfumes, the employees are so helpful, kind, and considerate. They listen to what I like and help me pick out perfumes that they think I would love. Honestly out of every department store, I think they have some of the sweetest employees. Joyce, in particular, who works at the perfume counter is beyond amazing. Absolutely an amazing worker and an even better human being. She has such a warm personality and is so kind and sweet you just want to talk to her forever. Although the fragrance selection may not be as large as horrible Macy's, I will gladly take a smaller selection when it comes with such impeccable service. My husband and I visited Nordstroms in Town Center the other day and found that many of the sales people were "coughing, sneezing and showing signs of flue/cold"! This was scary to us both since we have not been ill yet. I wanted something in the makeup department and there, at the Mac counter, was a young lady (wearing tatoos, which I was surprised about at Nordtroms) and she seemed "not in a good mood". Didn't know if she too was sick or what but decided to leave store at once! With this serious flu going around Florida, we've decided to stay away from all stores where the personnel seems ill. read more

Tanya was very helpful today. The online order pick up was understaffed but Tonya stepped right into help. She stopped what she was doing which was an alteration and made sure that I picked up my order in a very expeditious fashion. I was impressed that she cared so much about my experience that she stopped and found my item. She also overcame some difficulty because the online pick ups were not alphabetized but that didn't stop Tanya she kept digging until she found my order. Well done! read more

I've been shopping at Nordstrom for at least 15 years. What drew me to the company was the shoe department. I definitely have a weakness for shoes! Also the excellent customer service and return policy was a huge draw as well. However since this location has remodeled and rearranged departments, things have gone down hill. It used to be that when I walked into the departments I was greeted by a friendly staff person who was more than willing to help find what I was looking for or recommend items that honestly I didn't need but were super cute. Now when I walk in, there are very few employees around and no one speaks to me at all. If I need assistance with something, I have to hunt down an employee to help me. I must admit that the return policy is pretty nice but if you don't have a receipt or sticker receipt on tags to show how much the purchase was, the employee will only give you back a clearance price and that's usually without even telling you. They'll just process the return and hand you a receipt. When I returned a pair of shoes this happened to me. The sales associate processed the return and handed me my receipt, only giving me the sale price which was not even half the amount I had paid. I was quite angry and requested to speak to the manager in charge of the store to have it straightened out. So if you know what you paid and hopefully you have something with it printed on, then make your voice known that you won't take clearance price for your item. It's unfortunate that things have changed so much within a company that has been known for really caring about their customers. After all, that's how they stayed in business during the depression. Their return policy was so great people made sure to go to Nordstrom to get the one and only pair of shoes they could afford for the year because they knew they could be returned. Now it's strictly about the bottom dollar leaving customers feeling like they don't matter anymore. read more

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience with Nordstroms has me compelled to do so. I won't go into all the details, but without a doubt, Nordstroms has the best customer service I have EVER experienced from ANY retailer. From the stores General Manager to the Mgr in menswear (Eric) to his Asst Mgr (Alec).. I was treated with such incredible professionalism in their collective efforts to address my issue. Trust me, I am not a big customer. Just an average Joe that was made to feel like their only customer. I can say without hesitation that everything you hear about Nordstroms commitment to customer service is true. Such a refreshing experience!!! read more

I hate to guve one stars since I usually have great service at my Dallas location. The first time coming to this location and I am very displeased. Turned in a pair of jeans at the end of November for tailoring...a basic hem. Now it is January 15th with no sign of jeans. I have come up to the store three times in person with my ticket. The manager of the men's department has told me he would call and I left my number for him, with no call found. Not like Nordstroms, will be doing a corporate complaint. read more

This is one very expensive joint to go shopping, hence finding this location at Boca Town Center lol. Nordstrom carries very nice, high end items. Current fashions where the average graphic tee costs $35-$50. The men's and women's clothing depts are the meat and potatoes of the store, and also there is a nice beauty counter for the ladies. I did end up finding the beard oil I was looking for here, but with a catch as you pay for it there and have it shipped to you. Not a bad store, and certainly not a cheap one either. read more

This is about the Anastasia Brow Bar in the cosmetic department. I had been there previously so I was familiar with their service. I returned last Wednesday, to have my brows done. I explained to Olga, that many hairs are clear or grey...so they are hard to see...but when you put on eyeshadow...they become more apparent. The day before going there, I used one of those face battery operated razors that remove the peach fuzz, and mustache hair from your face. Of course, you can't use this on your eyebrow area. Its too big for that. Imagine my surprise when Olga says, do you want your lip waxed? I thought to myself, if you can't see that there is no hair there, I"m in a lot of trouble! I gave her a look and said, no. She asked again, are you sure? I used a 15x lighted magnifying mirror, trust me there was no hair above my lip!!! I should have excused myself right then, but I thought she's just a pushy sales girl. I sold cosmetics for many years. So, she proceeded to do my brows, most of those clear/grey hairs that I wanted remove from under my brow are still there! I had to pluck some hairs that she neglected to remove that afternoon! If I return, I'll be sure not to ask for Olga. read more

Although it's a little bit of a drive from Pompano it's worth it. Nordstrom, hands down has *the best* customer service. Plus the store is clean, well laid out and just generally great place to shop. I have spent time at the Laura Mercier counter and it was the best make up application I have ever had. I bought every single item she used on me. One of my favorite places to go to when I just need something cool to wear. They have the best shoe department and well the prices for the most part are good. I shop in the juniors department cause well, the have the most reasonable prices but the rest of the store is for those splurge days. Customer service is excellent which is always a plus. read more
