I recently have suffered severe knee pain due to overuse and age. I'm awaiting full knee replacement. Sadly, it's impossible for me to get into our tub to take a shower. I was so excited to find Tim Roberts of NorCal Refinishing. Today he converted part of our tub into an easily accessible step in for me. It looks fantastic. He did a wonderful job and I can't wait until I'm able to finally take a shower. Thank you Tim. You're worth every star. I'd give you 10 if they were available. read more

Tim started the job, and noting that it the tub in such good condition - it didn't actually need further refinishing. He was on time, honest and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him for this type of work. read more

We just had our guest bathroom bathtub worked on by Tim at Norcal Refinishing. Everything about the process was professional and perfect. Tim explained clearly what the options were. He arrived on time. Performed the work and left the bathroom impeccably clean. No Grandma can walk into the bathtub to take a shower. I recommend Tin and Norcal Refinishing without hesitation. My rental house had a 70 year old bath tub that had a few dings in it. I was under a time crunch to get it refinished with tenants moving in within a week. Tim was quick to respond to my call. His description of what he would do was complete and reassuring. He was responsive to all my texts and questions. He moved his schedule around to accomodate my timing needs. I am so glad I went with him. He did fantastic work and gave a 5 year warranty. He was very professional and has high work standards. I would highly recommend him. read more

Excellent work. Excellent prices. Excellent service. Tim is the consummate "Tile Whisperer"!!!

I am so happy that I chose Tim to do my bathtub fix. My tub had been peeling badly and it was also an awful color and Tim did an amazing job!!! He does not price gouge and is very reasonable. I researched other places and the prices were insane and it would have taken several days before I could use the tub/shower which was not an option as this was our only bathroom in the house. I was able to use my tub the very next day with no issues. He did amazing work and was very friendly. He's just an overall great person and very professional. I'm very happy with the work he did for me. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

Tim wrote back immediately when I called for an estimate, giving me the cost after asking for photos. My antique claw footed bathtub was in horrible condition. He promised no price-up and kept his word. I had estimates from 2 other tub refinishers. One was negative after seeing the photos, the other didn't respond for a week. Tims personality came through and made me feel more comfortable than with the others. His Yelp reviews helped me make my decision. Tim arrived promptly, was respectful and started the job immediately which he said would take between 5 and 7 hours. He worked constantly and finished in 6 hours. The tub looks beautiful and I am very pleased with his demeanor and the completed work. Explained how to clean the tub and keep it in tip-top shape I would recommend Tim and NorCal Refinishing to everyone. A great guy who did a great job. read more

Wow! What a positive experience all the way around. From the first phone call to the "thank you so much, Tim!" I contacted several companies about restoring the finish on our vintage bathtub. Most of the quotes were near $600. Not NorCal Refinishing! Tim gave me two estimates on the phone, showed up friendly and promptly, completed the job beautifully and even made friends with our boarder collie pup. All of this for only $385. I have already recommended him to a friend and look forward to sending hi, more recommendations. I love my "new" tub! The only problem is that I do not have any more work for him to do. :-) read more

My review is not based on the first glazing attempt but the 2nd time Tim came out to reglaze the tub. I've used soft scrub on all my tubs for over 30 years without any issue. Isn't that the whole point of glazing is that it's durable. Glazing should never peal off and I waited a week before cleaning it. We were happy before it started to come off. The 2nd attempt is on you, deep dimples, bumps and little holes everywhere and I mean everywhere. None of them were there prior. Implying you did me a favor is insulting. I'm not asking you for money back and paying someone else to have it redone. Take some responsibility. read more

Found the suctionless bath mat at: www.bathcrestofmidoregon.com it's made in Italy and covers the entire floor of the bathtub for $39.95.

Owner Tim Roberts did a wonderful job refinishing one of our tubs. Tim is reliable, personable, professional. Initially, I didn't get a call back right away, but gave him a lot of leeway figuring he was quite busy, especially given all his positive reviews. Tim was thorough with instructions on how to clean the tub, what products to use/not use to maintain the integrity of his work, which is gorgeous. I recommend him highly. Our tub looks brand new. Couldn't be happier. read more

I hated the thought that we might have to get rid of our 100 year old claw foot tub. The finish was so badly worn, pitted & cracked. Tim to the rescue! He did an amazing restoration. His workmanship is impeccable. It only took about 5 hours. Tim was friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with. The tub looks brand new. This glorious old tub will be the dazzling centerpiece of our new bathroom! Thank you so much, Tim. (I'll send a photo when the project is complete ) read more

Hire Tim! He is a fantastic owner, installer with a great product! While other companies were possibly comparable, you won't get the great customer service and impeccable installation done within weeks, not months that you will get from NorCal Refinishing! I emailed Tim and he was very responsive, he scheduled the job quickly and when he arrive, he was very professional. I am amazed with our shower, WOW, it is beautiful! Thank you Tim, I will be recommending you to everyone I know! read more

Last week, Tim refinished my shower-bath. He is incredibly prompt and conscientious. His work looks great. Highly recommended!

I was very pleased and impressed with Tim Roberts service. I called two additional businesses to get quotes for refinsihing the bathtub. Tim explained everything thoroughly and was cheaper than the other two businesses. We only have one tub/ shower in the house and were told by the other two businesses that we would not be able to use it for 48 hours. Tim Roberts stated that he used a different product and we could use the shower/ tub the following morning. Tim was helpful, friendly, and did an excellent job. The bathtub looks brand new! I would highly recommend Norcal Refinishing! read more

Well it's been over 1 year since NorCal refinished my tub and it's still perfect. Thanks! True quality.

Tim was the consummate professional and I was totally satisfied with the refinishing job that he did on my 90 year old bathtub. Not an easy task, but he scraped and scrubbed that old tub down to its original, gleaming finish until it looked brand new. Then he added new caulking around the tub and tiles....and even cleaned out my faucet drain! Tim is also a nice guy and a pleasure to have around, and since the job took most of the day, that turned out to be important. Highest recommendation! read more

We used Tim to install a clean step modification to our bath tub to make access easier. My father, who will be 88 years old in May, was in need of a bathroom modification that would make it easier for him to access the shower. After exploring complete bathroom remodeling, I was made aware of the Safeway Safety Step. Upon showing interest in the product, we were connected with Tim Roberts at Norcal Refinishing. From the onset, Tim was very responsive to our questions regarding the product and the installation thereof. After exchanging several emails and a few phone calls, we decided to go with this product instead of the complete bathroom remodel, based on Tim's knowledge, information, and advice. The step was ordered and the installation date, and time, set. Tim arrived on time with the product in hand. The installation took approximately 3 1/2 hours. Upon completion, the work area was meticulously cleaned and the bathroom restored to its original state. Tim made sure that we understood when the shower could be used and left us an information packet that included, among other information, the cleaning instructions for the new step. We would like to thank Tim for his 'outstanding' customer service and highly recommend Norcal Refinishing to anyone who might be considering bathroom upgrades instead of full demolition and remodeling. Thanks, Tim! read more

Tim responded quickly to my call for an estimate. He came out, explained what he would have to do to restore the old tub, and gave us a reasonable estimate. We scheduled the work for the next week. Tim was fantastic.... a true miracle worker.. He made the tub AND shower in our rental look like new. Thank you Tim!!

Tim stripped a previous bathtub refinishing job from another firm which had been peeling near the drain. He was very thorough and clean. Then, he did a beautiful job refinishing the tub. I am extremely satisfied with the service Tim Roberts provided to me. My tub had lost its enamel finish and Tim was able to restore it to a white brilliant color. No more yellow rough stain at the bottom. He did a fantastic job with the caulking around the tub, cleaned up my white tiles around it, got rid of all the mold, sealed the grout so the mold does not grow back in between those tiles. I bought a simple shower head and a new curtain and it looks like I just bought the place yesterday, as a new condo. Tim took time to explain how to care for my new tub and tiles. I could not have asked for better service. All this was delivered with a smile and a very attentive and caring attitude for my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to any of my friends. Thank you Tim! read more

Tim returned my call in a timely manner, was courteous and enthusiastic. Called to confirm the night before and showed up on time. He was great to have in my home while he worked. He was very organized and tidy. He was sure to vent the job so I didn't have to deal with the odor of the job and kept me informed he worked as to where he was in the process. I had an ugly pink-brown cast iron tub from the 60's and now it is shiny, white and beautiful. I was able to use it the next morning. Tim provided me with all the information I need on the care and maintenance of the new tub. Can't recommend him enough. I'll try to post the pics. This is NOT Nor-Cal Refinishing in Sacramento, so be sure to call the right guy. read more

Tim made my 2 tubs, their surround tiles and vanities from 1970 look new again. Tim answered all my detailed questions and provided a quote before the job, fit me in quickly, showed up on time, was super friendly, explained everything he was going to do, did and how to take care going forward, cleaned up thoroughly after his work was completed and left 2 previously ugly bathrooms looking new and beautiful. I'm so HAPPY and I highly recommend Tim!! read more

Tim was professional, personal and timely. The resurfacing of my old claw bath tub was great, it is now pure white and the improvement it made to my bath room is very noticeable. The only suggestion I would make is to have previous knowledge that the process leaves some residue on the other services in the room which washes of but, I would have removed the pictures and other items in the room prior to the process if I had known. Overall I wish I had the tub resurfaced long ago, but I'm very glad that it is now done. read more

Tim Roberts is a great guy. Tim was professional. He was on time. Friendly. Honest and easy to work with. My tub is 50 years old (apartment building) and he refinished it and made it look new. He got rid of the mold, cleaned the tiles and sealed the grout and redid the caulking/seal. My tub shines. I sent a picture to him and he gave me a quote/estimate the same day and did not change the estimate on completion of the work. You can trust Tim. This was an old tub, Tim completed it within hours on the same day and at a very affordable price. I'll use Tim again and recommend him to everyone. Tim also took the time to explain to us in detail how this process works. Tim's a good guy, a hard worker, professional, and quite frankly, a nice guy aiming to please. read more

Tim Roberts at NorCal Refinishing did an amazing job on the refinishing of my bath tub, and at a reasonable price. He gave me a free estimate ahead of time and answered all my questions, and I didn't feel any "sales pressure" from him. Also, I was in the midst of updating my bathroom at the time and needed him to be flexible with his work date, which he was able to be. He was dependable, neat, and now my tub looks brand new - I couldn't be happier. read more

We have a large 12 year old, U-shaped, outside sink and wet bar by the pool. It was originally finished with expensive, decorative Italian tile that seriously deteriorated over the years. We were very disappointed and were planning on completely replacing it at great expense. But before we did, we called NorCal Refinishing. That was a lucky call! Tim refinished the tile and preserved its original color and tumbled texture at a fraction of the cost of replacement. The bar has never looked better. We were amazed that such damage goods could be brought back life. All we can say about Tim and NorCal Refinishing is, "WOW"! read more

There are so many good things to say about Tim and his business, NorCal Refinishing. We called him to strip and repaint (for the third time) our bathtub. It had been done by another company 10 years ago and was badly in need of repair. We also requested that he clean the tub tile and try to do something to help our sink. When discussing the job, Tim was honest about what he could and could not do and what the cost would be. On the day of the project, he arrived promptly and went to work. Once he had the tub stripped, we were thrilled to learn that it did not need to be painted! Though not pristine, he felt the original porcelain tub from our 100-year old bathroom was in good enough shape to preserve and restore with a couple of minor repairs, cleaning, and a sealant. We are thrilled with the result! He did a fantastic job cleaning the tile and with a lot of elbow grease, even saved us from having to replace our sink. Throughout it all, Tim was personable and a total professional. He is obviously very knowledge about his trade, and his work shows it. We are so happy to have found him and highly recommend NorCal refinishing. read more
