My review is not based on the first glazing attempt but the 2nd time Tim came out to reglaze the tub. I've used soft scrub on all my tubs for over 30 years without any issue. Isn't that the whole point of glazing is that it's durable. Glazing should never peal off and I waited a week before cleaning it. We were happy before it started to come off. The 2nd attempt is on you, deep dimples, bumps and little holes everywhere and I mean everywhere. None of them were there prior. Implying you did me a favor is insulting. I'm not asking you for money back and paying someone else to have it redone. Take some responsibility. read more

After exploring complete bathroom remodeling, I was made aware of the Safeway Safety Step. Upon showing interest in the product, we were connected with Tim Roberts at Norcal Refinishing. From the onset, Tim was very responsive to our questions regarding the product and the installation thereof. After exchanging several emails and a few phone calls, we decided to go with this product instead of the complete bathroom remodel, based on Tim's knowledge, information, and advice. No more yellow rough stain at the bottom. Tim was professional, personal and timely. The resurfacing of my old claw bath tub was great, it is now pure white and the improvement it made to my bath room is very noticeable. The only suggestion I would make is to have previous knowledge that the process leaves some residue on the other services in the room which washes of but, I would have removed the pictures and other items in the room prior to the process if I had known. There are so many good things to say about Tim and his business, NorCal Refinishing. We called him to strip and repaint (for the third time) our bathtub. It had been done by another company 10 years ago and was badly in need of repair. We also requested that he clean the tub tile and try to do something to help our sink. When discussing the job, Tim was honest about what he could and could not do and what the cost would be. On the day of the project, he arrived promptly and went to work. Once he had the tub stripped, we were thrilled to learn that it did not need to be painted! Though not pristine, he felt the original porcelain tub from our 100-year old bathroom was in good enough shape to preserve and restore with a couple of minor repairs, cleaning, and a sealant. We are thrilled with the result! He did a fantastic job cleaning the tile and with a lot of elbow grease, even saved us from having to replace our sink.
