I spoke to Brandon about serving a document to an opposing party, back in December. He sent me a link to make payment. I did. Just under $170, if my memory serves correctly. On the date the document was supposed to be served, I never heard from Brandon. I called him to let him know the party would be a couple miles away, in a diff location, on said day. He didn't answer. Brandon is VERY Efficient in getting the job done. I had the Sheriff's dept try to serve this evasive criminal and she dodged them several times and they declared it a non-service. When I hired Brandon he got it done THE FIRST TIME. He is savvy, quick thinking, and knows the procedures. He proceeds to say payment is due in advance on Yelp but when I got everything notarized in person he said payment would be due when they collect. Jason, with D&R Legal Process Service, LLC, who was terrible. Grant it, the defendant had an invalid address on the documents I was provided; however, when I questioned Jason how many times he tried to serve the defendant, he started yelling at me. Jason's attitude was unprofessional and a turnoff. I could NEVER recommend Jason or his company to anyone I know. Brandon helped us serve an order to go to small claims court on a corporate plaintiff with headquarters outside the county in which we live and filed the case. Brandon is responsive, knowledgeable, efficient and persistent. The service was completed the day after we contacted Brandon. Compare that to waiting six weeks after the clerk of the court where we filed attempted service by certified mail to the company's corporate agent address (located in yet a completely different county), and STILL no proof that the order was ever received by the respondent's agent. We had to continue to case two months because there was no proof of service. Brandon gets the job done and his rates are reasonable compared to other process servers we contacted. If we ever have a need for a process server in the future (hopefully not), we would definitely contact NorCal Process Servers again. read more
