When Susan took my call and heard my voice crack and I started crying she immediately made me feel better. Took the time to talk to me and promised if they couldn't fit me in that day she would help walk me through the documents I needed to do. I met Paula and Susan last year following a lawsuit against a bad contractor and she guided me through every step of the process legally and helped me file all necessary documents to assure that we would get our money from the defendant. Her fees are reasonable and she goes out of her way to help you. She will literally bend over backwards for you and it is abundantly clear that she cares deeply for her clients and wants to see them happy. In the beginning, we tried to collect money and we just hit dead end after dead end, and she tried to tell me to hold off on paying her anything until we saw results, but I paid her on time because that's just what I do. She met with us for hours without charging us for her time and I could tell that she really hates crooks and liars and she was going to fight like all hell for us, which she did. I have been to Same Day Legal a couple times now... I was referred to them by a process server who couldn't accommodate my short timeframe for having something served. SDL was able to accommodate me. They were super response, very friendly, fast and efficient. Their rates were more than reasonable as well! The fact that they are almost across the street from the courthouse was very helpful. I was able to get my court papers, go there to have them served and then take the proof of service right back to the courthouse to file. very easy process. The attorney Paula is terribly unprofessional from her speech to her demeanor! She treats people like crap I spent money faxing over documents and she changed the price then denied it! DO NOT GO HERE!! I didn't ask for any attorney service to be done she told me what was wrong with the documents and I simple said I could make the corrections and send them back! Apparently the miscommunication in the office is the problem because Susan was helpful and explained things entirely different as opposed to Paula! I got the documents filed with ONE LEGAL! i needed someone to file papers for me in Contra costa county Civil court. I live in AZ and filing papers by mail can take months. I called this place and they said they wanted $850 to fill out a few forms that I already filled out and submitted to the court who advised there were a few very minor errors which I corrected before sending them to this gold digging place. The broad Paula who was trying hard to sell me her $850 service when i just needed her to file my papers tells me "your papers are flawed". Thats it. Id rather spend the $850 on gas to get to Calfonia and handle this myself then give this place a dime. $400 an hour? Who do these people think they are.
