Not wishing to chance passing this Earthly existence leaving assets to the State, I at first contemplated a notarized holographic will NOT involving any lawyer. You know, like writing your will out on a piece of paper and having random folks witness. Not! Considering that I spent most of my morning calling and leaving countless of voicemails in search for some legal advice, I walked in and was met by some really nice lady. My Attorney felt that I could complete the document for an Uncontested Divorce with assistance reviewing documents and court procedures. She stated that with 40 plus years in management and 2 advance degrees I did not need a Divorce Attorney. After reviewing the process on line and completing some of the documents for review, I brought them to the office to be reviewed....I worked very well with Susan. However, when Paula became involved there was much confusion, assumptions and actions taken I had not requested. I would never work with nor refer anyone to Paula. She is pompous, arrogant, vindictive, confusing, presumptuous and does not always communicate, well or at all. Paula was very upset, when I told her she had carried out an action I did not want nor requested. Her frustration and anger was vented at me while babbling loudly to me in an incoherent rant on the phone. I did go to the office to speak with Susan and continued to seek her assistance and knowledge, but the last time I brought a court document to the office I had to deal with the rantings from Paula. The problem was the ranting and blustering came unexpected for no reason other than retaliation for the pointing out her error. Unexpected, especially when I was not there to see her, and in the lobby and with a man in there when I arrived. i thought she would "wind down" and the performance was for him, but I was wrong. As soon as Paula's lunch date arrived she started to vent again, repeating herself with even more, anger, vigor, threats and hostility. I felt it was truly a performance for the male in the office, when I arrived, but with even more, volume, energy and anger upon the arrival of her lunch date...an audience of 5, safety in numbers or encore, encore for a lasting impression? The one star is for Susan, she deserves more for just being in the office with such a personality as Paula. read more
