From the moment I reached out to her and inquired about specialty cookies, I knew I'd found the right person. Audrey was wonderfully pleasant and confident that she could provide what I was looking for. I explained to her that we were having "2 Legit to Quit" 90's themed party (because Halloween plus birthdays require extra-ness) and I thought some number "2" sugar cookies would be perfect. She asked if there were any specific colors I wanted and she took it from there. I ordered the cookies a week in advance and they were ready as scheduled and I was able to pick them up without hassle. I will definitely work with Audrey in the future, she's reasonably priced, detailed and just an overall joy to work with.

After searching around, I decided to go with Frosted By Jess. I asked for a small chocolate cake with a strawberry chocolate mousse filling, cream cheese icing on the outside, with a chocolate drizzle, and chocolate covered strawberries. Jess was quick to respond and said she could handle. I picked up on the time as promised, and that evening, we cut into the cake. I was surprised to see all icing as a filling. The cream cheese icing had a very butter forward flavor, so much I couldn't tell it was cream cheese. My husband couldn't tell either, he said it was missing the tang that you normally get with a cream cheese icing. I did reach out to Jess with my disappointment. She did apologize, claims the mousse was there, but also mentioned mousse fillings were not something she was used to. I wish that had been communicated with me so that I could have been informed in order to make a decision on a baker I felt was appropriate that could actually handle the job. Instead, we ended up with a cake that I do not feel like I got what I asked or paid for. It ended up being a very expensive small slice of cake because it was one slice and done.
