This was our second visit and again I find it falling short. The last time I said that the calamari was good, but this go around it was very bland. Tender but not flavor. Excellent food cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and juicy, the fish tacos already had some melted cheese in taco shells (yum) and burger was good too. Fun and great motif all around the restaurant. Hubby had short ribs which were delicious. He hates brussell sprouts and will never eat them, however i told him how awesome they were with the sauce so he tried them and loved them (maybe that's why we ran out of the delicious sauce)! The food was average, the service from the waiter was sub-part. On their menu it says a 20% gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more... our party of 5 was auto-charged a 20% "service charge". When we asked why we were told "because your bill got close to $200". We weren't able to be given a good explanation of why that was not stated on the menu or elsewhere or why a service charge was added to a $170 bill. We won't return. Really loved this place. Made a reservation for 8 on our last night in OBX and were seated promptly. We had 4 kids and 4 adults and I felt like I actually got to enjoy my meal which is not a given when eating out with kids. A lot of that was due to the service which was quick and prioritized getting the kids their food first. Drinks were phenomenal and delicious. And honestly so was the food. Everything we had was delicious. Started with the Island Dancer cocktail, not too sweet thanks to the basil. What a way to start our vacation! We had an incredible experience here. Great food, some of the drinks were really special - their drink menu is curated by a true mixologist- they take you on a ride! I had the ribeye gyro. It was great and flavorful with cucumbers that were freshly pickled and naan that was soft and fresh. My wife had the fish and chips. Very nice and generous sized Mahi filets very lightly breaded. The mahi really elevated the dish.The fries were skin on and delicious. The music was a little loud for lunch but our server helped us without a moments hesitation. Now, on to our server... Riley... wow... it is somewhat rare these days to find someone who really takes serving seriously. She was fully attentive, asked me questions when I asked for recommendations, I would be surprised if there was anything on the menu that she had not eaten. She also recommended some of the beverages we drank that were incredible including one with a habanero syrup that still has me licking my lips! Cute spot. We sat inside and had a very sweet server. I ordered the short rib which was probably one of the top 2 dinners I had all week. Cooked perfectly and I loved the brussel sprouts too. Our last night in the area and we wished we had stopped here first so we could visit again before leaving. This was the best place we had dinner from all week. I had the Mediterranean tuna cooked medium. The tuna was cooked perfectly. Very tender, not dry and seared for a crust on the outside. The sun dried tomatoes, pesto, feta and olives made for a great variance of flavors. Very nicely done. My wife had the shrimp and grits. This was a creative take with the pulled pork and egg. The grits had a great cheesy flavor that mixed well with the sauce. Our server, Jen B. was great, also. She was always there when we needed her without being there too much. Very attentive and personable. They have some creative takes on their dinners which is what had me wanting to try this place. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and had a beach vibe. It has an open floor layout, so a busy Friday night can get loud, yet still feels cozy. I encourage anyone to try this place early during your stay because you'll probably want to return. I'm not sure why this restaurant hasn't been on our radar until now, but this place is a gem. The food was really good. I was eyeing that seafood pasta from all the pics and it was just as good as I imagined it would be. We also had the mojito salmon dish and calamari. The place is great! Looks very cute and clean but unfortunately we had a long waiting cause they only had one person serving and making the stuff. I got an açaí bowl which I had to wait like 10 mins cause the girl had to serve all the other ice creams from the people in line before she could prepared my açaí. A little slow to be seated, ignored by lots of servers walking by, it would have been nice to get a "someone will be right with you" but once we were seated everything was smooth and accommodating. Small restaurant with fun beach/sky blue ambiance. Shrimp and grits was delicious! I did forgo the offered bbq and egg additions and was glad I did as it was perfect. Noosa Beach Grill is relatively new to the Outer Banks, having moved in to the location formerly occupied by Flying fish and more recently Grandstaff and Stein. We stopped in for lunch to try it out. One visit certainly does not really test the menu, but we have to start somewhere. Ms T selected the plant based Beyond Burger and I ordered a daily special Grilled Chicken sandwich. Everything was very good, nothing very remarkable, but considering what we ordered it was all fine. I would certainly return. I guess we don't have enough experience with the plant-based burgers, but her patty seemed underdone. She complained that it was mushy, and it was certainly pretty pink. We each took half of the fairly large sandwiches home with us and they travelled well. In fact she said her burger was much better, warmed over, since she got it more done. Next time, we should ask if these burgers need to be ordered for preferred doneness. All in all this was a nice lunch. I like the feel of the place. It is bright and nicely decorated. We had great service. We should try it for dinner. It looks like a little bit more creative than the typical seafood restaurants that we frequent. Four stars is a little rich for what we had, but I feel the place has promise and did not want to brand it with three stars. read more

Our first time here after a recommendation from a friend. We absolutely loved the food and the drinks. We really wish we would have sat at the bar, as the service was just meh. The food surely made up for that. The scallops might honestly be the best scallops I have ever had in my life. We had them twice during our meal. We started out with the Scallops App & the Brussels Sprouts App We moved onto our entrees, where Courtney again got the scallops which were still amazing. New spot to try on the bypass around MP9.5. They take reservations which is a welcome addition. I made a day of reservation for a late dinner for 8 people on a weekday. There was almost no one in the restaurant. Food was good and quick. I enjoyed the meatball apps and ordered a salad. A few of my friends also got a salad, they were a little overdressed.
