It took some deliberation for me to pick this place, mainly for geographic reasons. The quality of…read morefood I received was better than I thought it was going to be. I ordered some classic dishes. The chana masala I got with a spice level below the maximum nonetheless carried a powerful kick. But I also picked a cardamom pod and a clove out of it; these things can be annoyances to the uninitiated but the resulting flavor is worthwhile. Adding a bread and salad turned out to be wise given the heat level. Their interpretation of a salad was a sectioned head of greenery, some other vegetables, and a hint of spices and lemon. My plain paratha was a worthy contrast to the exciting flavors of my main dish. Adding some samosas sprinkles with spices made for a solid two meals at a very reasonable price. I thought I'd finished, but at the bottom of the bag was hiding some complimentary chutney and yogurt and a papadum. The setting was a repurposed fast food drive through. The food was totally worthwhile and despite the bevy of options throughout the settled parts of North Carolina, I experienced no regret at having made this my road trip stop.

The lady that greeted me was very nice. I got a seat immediately. I looked at the menu and couldn't really decide what to get. I love lintel soup. They had that and i ordered it. A little more than medium is what I selected. I know they like hot spicy. I also ordered the Agni chicken. She recommended it. I got the soup and boy was it spicy. Oh, I also love spicy. I started to sweat, as usual for me. The soup was very good. As I finished the soup, the main course was being delivered. Nice presentation and good serving size. The chicken was tender chunks of brest meat in a nice curry sauce. It was perfect with the rice. The whole meal was very good. A lot of flavor. Big servings. Great service. This was a good choice for me. If you like Indian food or want to try it for the first time, this would be a good place to try. I recommend.

The cashier help me with a lot and offered me to try dessert and she actually walked to the buffet and explain all the different kinds that was there. I really enjoyed the mango mousse and the warm carrot dessert with nuts (it tasted more like sweet potatoes). The restaurant has a very calm vibe to it and very inviting at the same time. It does get busy during lunch time and you are able to seat your self. Definitely a must try!

I like my food a little spicer than my partner, so I ordered my paneer as a 2 out of 5, and they ordered their korma as a 1, but it came to the table a solid 3-4. I wonder if it got flipped in the kitchen, since mine wasn't very spicy. But, when we asked for a new bowl of korma, they brought one to us within 5 minutes. Much better, if a good bit sweeter than I expected, having tried the first time, I wonder if they added more sugar to make sure it was not too spicy second time around. The naan was tasty, and I was very satisfied with my paneer. We'll definitely try them again. I'm looking forward to the dosa.

We had a wonderful time here!…read more I called ahead to get a reservation as we came as a group of 7. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was very knowledgeable and asked the kitchen questions if they were unsure on an answer. The service was very friendly and very efficient. The food was amazing! The cheese naan was warm, soft and cheese! The fried paneer was also delicious! The heat levels are from 1-10 and everyone ordered a level they decided was perfect! The prices are very fair and I highly recommend a visit here if you have not already been!

The food was very good and one of my fellow Yelpers highly recommended it. Thats saying something! The outside of the restaurant is modest looking and has a nice wooden deck for summer time dining. The inside looks modernized with a bar area and the rest are dining tables. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. They have great patience too as they must get many customers who need help with the cuisine choices. I started out w corn soup appetizer. Not alot of corn in it but it was hardy as it had light colored lentils in it. It tasted somewhat like a Korma dish in soup form. Loved it!I ordered garlic naan to go with it. It was Nice, warm and soft, with just the right amount of garlic, not overpowering, just right. My final dish was a shrimp tandoori, which was very nice to look at very great to taste. The grilled shrimp were sitting on a bed of julienned vegetables with a pretty rose shaped onion with the edges dipped in beet coloring. The dish had a great presentation as it came out of the kitchen on a sizzling skillet. I finished up with a nice hot cup of tea spiced lightly w cardamom, lemon and ginger. I loved the unique flavor in a bracing black tea. Its a restaurant that highlights Indian cuisine in a tasty, quality Way. A gem!

The waiter was incredibly kind and helpful, especially when it came to seating us and walking us through the menu. We started with the chili chicken appetizer, which was AMAZING!!! Full of flavor with the perfect kick. If you enjoy spice, I'd recommend starting at level 3, and if you really love heat, go for level 4! The samosas were hot, fresh, and delicious, with a well-seasoned filling. The sweetness of the tamarind chutney complemented them perfectly. For my entrée, I ordered the butter chicken at spice level 3, and it was one of the best I've had in the Triad. It was rich, buttery, and packed with flavor! Everything you'd want in a great butter chicken. Overall, I truly enjoyed everything I ordered and will definitely be back!

My newest food fixation is the Sesame Cauliflower from Peppers in Jamestown. I cannot stop thinking…read moreabout it. The perfectly cooked soft center, the crisp exterior, and the sticky ssssaaaaauce it's covered in... It's savory and heavy enough to be a meal but I was being generous and decided to share the appetizer with my spouse. They do offer a spice scale and they don't hold back. I foolishly tried the spice level 3 (out of 5 being the hottest) and should have chosen a 2 spice level. But the cauli was so good I fought through the pain. Worth it. I could have easily stopped there but we also ordered the garlic naan (also yessssss) as well as the Lamb Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. Both those entrees were delicious but the Korma really stood out to me. The rich and creamy sauce was very unique to my pallet and when I returned, I ordered the Chicken Korma. Clearly I love a good sauce. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and would be great for groups or a romantic dinner for 2 (or 3 if you are into that sort of thing). The service was excellent and our server was patient when we ask questions about the menu. Fortunately, a lot of the dishes have descriptions on the menu so you have a good idea of what you are ordering. Looking forward to returning to Peppers again .... for the cauliflower... and the naan....

We were seated immediately, and given time/space to look over the menu, but with our server still hovering nearby in case we had questions or were ready quickly. When we ordered, the server explained the 1-5 spice scale, gave recommendations, and even asked about allergies. After the food came out, he continued to check on us. This is definitely not one of those "abandoned in the corner and ignored" type of establishments. We started with an order of chili paneer, with spice level 2. It was perfectly crunchy and super flavorful. Level 2 has a nice kick to it if you sit for a minute between bites, but it doesn't necessarily light you up either. It is a great level if you're sharing something with someone a little more spice-hesitant. I love paneer, and this appetizer had a generous portion that could easily be a meal for 1 person. For my main, I got the Chana masala, spice level 3. This was absolutely delicious! Spicy, warm, flavorful. Chickpeas had the perfect texture -- not too hard nor too mushy. As a spicy food enjoyer, level 3 was a nice level that is hot and ~just~ starts to make my face flush, but isn't overpowering. A "conversational" level if you will. I could easily order this on a work lunch and could still eat with decorum. We also got garlic naan, which is always a hit, but done absolutely perfectly here. Pillowy, soft, fresh, and generous with the garlic.
